Good price. Very nice and helpful hotel staff!!! They printed maps to the businesses we needed to get to. (very, very appreciated) Mediocre breakfast. Three minutes from San Antonio airport. Our comforter did not look clean. If you are a light sleeper, the runway does end very near this hotel, so between 5 am & 6 am you begin to hear the airplanes and jets leaving. I would say to sum this up, not a bad place, cheap, and good for a nights sleep.

We reserved a room, however when we got there, we found out that their was no elevator available and my husband was not able to take the luggage up the stairs due to his bad knees. We stayed in the handicap room - which was a smoking room because that was the only room available on the lower level. The room needed a handyman in it. The tile was mismatched, the hand rails were rusted, paint was splattered all over the tile in the bathroom....we parked nearest the closest exit/entrance and their was a warning on the back of the door that the hotel was not responsible for damages to vehicles parked in that area....which made me fell quite insecure about staying there and leaving my rental vehicle parked in that location.

We needed a place to stay after a late flight and anticipating an early departure. Be sure you get a map. You can't find it by address alone. It is off the end of a run-way....no noise after 10pm but did start up at 6am. Not much of a continental breakfast. Pre-packaged everything. It was what we expected.

I booked this location, because I wanted to be close to the airport due to a very early return flight the following morning. I knew I'd be arriving late and I just wanted to have a convenient place to stay where I could get as much sleep as possible before having to go to the airport. The room was very nice and clean.

Not the best hotel I have stayed in. However, I have also payed a lot more for a lot less room. It is near the west end of San Antonio Airport's east west runway. You have to deal with landing or departing aircraft depending on the wind direction. The airport pretty much shuts down after 10pm so it is not a problem. Breakfast not fancy but has coffee. Needed to print boarding passes and they had a internet ready computer hooked to a printer available for clients use.

Reviewed by Linda of San Diego on Aug 3, 2008
The hotel staff was very helpful and they even gave me a taxi to the airport without charging me since I had an early morning flight. It was good to have internet in the room. The room was clean. When I went to bed I realized there were bugs in the bed. The manager sent up clean sheets, but I soon realized the bugs were dropping from the ceiling. The bugs had been drawn to the light I had next to the bed. I eventually kept the light on by the sink to attract the bugs so I could sleep. The manager said that there is a ditch in back of the hotel and it is very humid outside. He said they spray every other month. Otherwise the hotel was fine. There were no restaurants close by so for dinner I picked up something at the covenience store and heated it up in the microwave in the room.

If it's your first time to San Antonio, as it was mine, you may have some difficulty finding this hotel. Hint: San Pedro joins the highway for a while so it is possible to take an exit onto the road you're already on. After that, the service was quick, the hotel was quiet, and the room was comfortable. The location was the best part and made the early morning flight easy to catch. Happy traveling!

This place was great for being close to the airport and having to catch an early morning flight and having to come in late at the beginning of my stay. It probably took about 2 minutes to get to from my rental car place. Room was clean and taken care of daily. Hallway smelled a little musty. This hotel is literally at the end of a runway. So periodically you can step outside and watch a plan start to take off and watch another land in a few minutes. First night, it kept me awake, but after that I guess I got used to it. But for the price and location, I would stay again.

I had no problems with the wireless internet access (a pleasant surprise). Next time I need to travel to San Antonio on business, I will definately request this hotel.

This is an average hotel. It's not to great and to bad. Its a good price, the only issue we had was the directions. The hotel is in an odd location which made it fairly difficult to get to and from Six Flags. There were alot of turns and detours. The management was not rude, but they were not all that "customer friendly" either. They could have done more. Parking lots were sort of full, and our door keys stopped working a few times.

After a long day of travel one wants to get to their room take a shower, relax, etc...not walk in to the following: The room I had received had a hole in the tub the size of a quarter and clumps of hair left in the tub! Concerned that if I used the shower it would cause water damage to the units below, I contacted the front desk requesting to speak to the manager. I was told that he would come and repair the tub. I was then told that I could not use the shower for another ten hours so the poxy would seal and dry. There were no other "non-smoking rooms available so I was unable to get another room. (Can't do the "smoking room" thing due to health concerns.) Luckily there was a co-worker with me where I was able to take a shower in their room. I called Hotel.com's Customer Service Hot-line however, I remained on hold for an extremely long time and eventually was disconnected.

My room, and really that whole side of the hotel, had a majestic view of the landing strip of the San Antonio airport. I have never been this close to planes when they land. Frankly, watching these big jets touch down was kind of interesting, but I imagine their proximity would play havoc on your average light sleeper. The bed reminded me of what hotel mattresses used to feel like before the industry wised up and realized that people actually sleep on these things. I think that the only thing covering the mattress was a thin, almost transparent sheet, which kind of grossed me out, and for all I know might be a code violation. I want two or more layers of washed linens and pads between me and the multitudes who slept there before. The carpet in the room was so soiled I wore socks constantly. If there'd been other options I would have rebooked in a heartbeat. Stay away.

We unknowingly left our do not disturb sign out one day and our room wasn't clean which I understand but when I informed the desk about it they didn't offer any clean towels or anything they could do. There was a young lady behind the desk with tattoos that didn't seem to care when I asked for some clean towels and if there was some place I could empty our trash cans.
