Very good for the location and price but the room was very dirty in various ways form the shower curtain to fresh brown stains on the carpet.

Arrived early evening. Room was comfortably warm, even a bit too warm, but that's by far preferable to places where I've opened the the door in winter and couldn't tell a difference between the inside and outside. First thing I called the girl working the desk to ask her for direction from I 79 south to the hotel. She said she doesn't pay attention to names of streets she just knows how to get there. We found the place which is only about 50 yards off I -79 EXIT 121. My wife and I checked in and I asked the girl behind the desk,which was the same girl I called […] about for direction, about the wireless internet. She said it was not working because it was raining. I ask how long has it been down and she stated its broke most of the time. She stated that her internet at home works good this one doesn.t. The carpet was very dirty in the room ,but the bed was very comfortable. The television remote did not work and I ask the desk clerk for another one and she said they did not have any, I do a lot of work on my computer so I checked the internet on my laptop. Selected this hotel due to WVU Football weekend traffic. Would not have been my first choice however when arriving we were pleased with the condition of the hotel. Location was easy to find and hotel condition was good. Looked as if rooms had been renoveated recently. There was alot of construction workers staying there and all sorts work trucks filled […] the parking lot. Rooms looked freshly painted and were clean except the carpeting. Walking in barefeet stained the bottom of my feet. I think this was the case due to constuction worker traffic and there dirty boots. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean. Overall it was not a bad hotel for a weekend football game and the price was right. We would stay there again if the need be for the football crowds. decent place to lay your head. HBO never worked even though I told them. Definitely a no frills place to lay you head down. Staff that I saw was friendly but looked lazy; always in smoking area I did not like that.

One request...If one adult and 2 children are booked for a room, there should be 3 sets of towels. Each time we stay, there are only 2 towels for three people showering.

Our carpet was so filthy that we put the bedspreads on the floor so we could walk barefooted. The mattress was so hard it was difficult to sleep. We had to have the door key programmed so many times until finally it quit working all together and we were moved to another room on the second floor. At least that room was clean. I can't judge this hotel hardless because it is a Super 8. The room was clean, but all the repairs were noticable. At least they attempted to repair problems, but quality repairs mean that it should not be noticable. Bridgeport is a beautiful place, and there's plenty of malls and eateries in the area. It's not an one-horse town.

This hotel is getting tired.It requires a good clean up.Carpets were dirty,outside corridors & stairways were muddy & needed pressure washing.Bathtub was black & one of the washcloths was so filthy I wouldn't use it to clean my car.We have stayed here several times in the past but will not stay here again.

The hotel was an easy access to the highway, which is a big plus. It was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. We appreciated the fact that it allowed us to have our small dog, and there were grassy areas for him to walk. Thank you for a comfortable stay in W.Va.

I choose this hotel because of its great location, right off the highway. I also wanted free wifi so that I could work from my room. It was obvious that the room had been renovated, but it was already showing signs of some serious wear and tear. Immediately after entering the room, there were large stains on the carpet at the entrance. To the right […] of the door, there was an armchair with a footstool. The footstool had some nasty stains on it. There was a large, black desk chair which was splattered in white paint. It appeared that the person painting the room had neglected to cover the chair. The staff at this hotel, however, were very pleasant and professional. I completed the satisfaction card and did hand it in at reception upon check out. I do hope they do something about the condition of my room. The breakfast room was clean and bright. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and was included in the room rate. WATCH YOUR MONEY & CREDIT CARD INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we checked into this hotel they stated they had no record of our reservation. I offered to give them the confirmation # twice, but they refused to take it. The night clerk whose name was Ronnie said it was not necessary because they did not have the kind of room we needed anyway. After insisting […] that I had a reservation and would give him the confirmation # he offered to put us in another type of room but tried to charge us a different rate. I explained to him that we had a confirmaiton guaranteeing a different rate and would be happy to give him the confirmation #. He said something like, "oh yeah ok I am not suppose to do that, but I will since we don't have the type of room you reserved" and proceeded to take all the information again and set us up in the computer system so we could get a room. I was really tired as we had worked all day then traveled and it was getting rather late and I did not consider the fact that by him setting up the information again there could now be two reservations in my name. (I am still unsure if this is the case or not) I had originally booked with my personal credit card, but was traveling on business so I asked if I could pay cash for the stay. He said something like, "oh yeah you want to pay cash, that will be fine" so I did. I asked him for a receipt and he stated that one would not be available until the morning. Ok here is where I should have gotten pushy and asked for my money back, but I decided to be trusting as this was a well known national chain hotel and as we were exhausted and just wanted to be able to lay down and go to sleep. When I came back in the morning to check out and asked again for a receipt the clerk, a woman named Sheila, said the computer was down and made a photocopy of a paper they had filed in a large rolodex type thing and gave it to me. The room was ready and waiting when we arrived at the hotel, so it was only a couple minutes at the counter to check in. The girl there was courteous and attentive. It was nice to have the car parked right at the door, as we had several items of luggage to carry in. The room was clean and neat as a pin. When we settled in for the night, the beds were […] comfortable and we barely heard anyone or anything outside the room at all. Having a coffee pot and microwave and fridge in the room was great. (It actually seemed like we had a brand new coffee maker brought in on the second morning!) We were able to get our rest and enjoyed our trip in to visit our family in the area.
