Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona Beach on the Ocean - Daytona Beach

So close to the water I could hear the ocean with the door closed. Not knowing Daytona (I live in Key West), I chose what I assumed would be a safe bet and boy was I pleasantly surprsed. Great location, nice restaurant, bar was open late (beach prices, but hey), close to the arcade. I will definately go back!!!

We always enjoy our stay at all holiday inns. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and nice. If we had an issue they were on it right now! They cannot help that they are next to a not so nice hotel - so unless you enjoy a rowdy crowd (youngins) at spring break you may want to bring your ear plugs. thanks again - we would stay here again […] - the drinks at the bar were very delicious!! Hotel is right on the ocean, nice pool, clean room. We left our patio door open to enjoy the sounds of the ocean all night. One of the staff members was really helptful, Parking was at a minimum but we had hit at the end of bike week and some spots were still blocked off for motorcycle parking. Everything was great - except for thinking we would have an in-room jacuzzi like the one pictured on the website - especially since the hotels.com guy we reserved it with said there was one in the king-size room w/sofa bed. Then when we got there, we found out there were no whirlpools in the hotel rooms at all.

Great for our family vacation, view was amazing, wish had indoor since it was only 75-80 degrees and outdoor pool and ocean were chilly. Lots to do with in walking distance! joes crab Shack on the pier too! Would stay there again for sure!

My girlfriend and I stayed for 1 night for New Year's Eve and had a great time and loved the hotel. The only issue I had which kind of spoiled the perfect stay was that I had reserved online the night before a room with Oceanfront, King size bed with balcony and was told at check-in that type of room had not been available for 2 days so I had to go […] with an Oceanfront with 2 Queen beds and a balcony. Room was nice. King bed,jacuzzi,ocean front view. Weather uncontrollable. Had sea fog for days but still had fun. Nice to see you could actually get sun at this location. Also a yard with a gazebo,outside & inside bars & plenty of pool chairs. Way to many high rises block out sun by 1pm. Management was very nice & took time to acknowledge the guest. […] You could tell the staff was trained to be curtious,polite,& smile. Holiday Inn has set standards & I'd say you get the full package here. From the time of check in with concierge, dinning in or on cabana service was ecellent. Housekeeping was wonderful. If you did not want awakened the staff well acknowledged. Exercise room has two treadmills,bike,elliptical,towels & tv. Game room also sold snacks. Each floor has ice machine & soda vending. Stairs were my choice & easily accessible. This location had a few Xmas parties & it all went well with a few invitations. No party crashing. The surrounding area was great. Please note, your in walking distance to the boardwalk with food & entertainment. You must climb the light house ! I haven't been to this area for 30 years or more. I'm a young 51. Service was excellent. Everyone friendly and the location of hotel, great. Nice pleasant getaway. Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am a little tight but the staff were very accommodating. Parking is also limited if you return to hotel late evening. All in all a great stay.

After spending several days deciding on a hotel for my wife and 15 month old, this ended up being the bext beach front hotel, that was also several blocks away from all the boardwalk noize. Kids eat for free wa also another good perk. Get a beach front room with a balcony, it's the only way to really enjoy the sound and breeze at night.

Hotel was super clean with beautiful beach location and really nice pool area with poolside grilling. Little bit of a walk down to the Main St "strip" area but still doable. Free parking as well as in-room safe ,fridge and microwave were all pleasant amenities. Overflow parking directly across the street was no big deal. The hotel is very well kept. Customer service staff very friendly. The locatin of this hotel is in walking distance to the boardwalk and Daytona Lagoon. I enjoy the pool and convienence of the beach being 10 feet away. I would recommend staying here again.

I had a very nice oceanfront suite with a sitting area as well as a bedroom, both with TVs. The only maintenance request i made was resolved in less than ten minutes. It is less than a mile to Ocean Walk and the Ocean Center, and you can walk it either on the beach or on the sidewalk.

We decided last minute to stay overnight the last Saturday of bike week. This hotel had rooms available, but pricey. Due to the events no doubt. I was apprehensive, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean, as was our room. The room was nicer and larger than I expected as well. We had a balcony facing the ocean which was a really […] nice feature as we are smokers, but don't care to do so indoors. (they do not have ANY smoking rooms, contrary to what is listed in this site) Room had a coffee maker, bar area and refrigerator. We had a king size bed, also had a sofa, living room area, as well as desk. The room was very spacious. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was pre-paid as we booked via this site, but they did require a credit card to allow for incidentals, however, i don't recall the dollar amount. They had motorcycle only parking provided on site, and a parking lot directly across the street for vehicles. The restaurant on site had outdoor seating, which we prefer, overlooking the pool and beach. Food was ok, basically your typical barfood, with a full service bar. Although it was hot, and delivered to us timely. Combined with the convenience of it being on site, overall decent. The servers were friendly and attentive. In the morning, you could purchase coffee to go, but there wasn't any available complimentary. (Aside from the coffeemaker in the rooms i suppose.) also in the morning, they had a buffet or full menu for purchase in the restaurant. There is room service available, however, we did not order. There was loud music coming from an adjacent bar, but didn't hear it when the sliding door to balcony was closed. We kept the doors open, as for us it contributed to our mindset of our weekend! But I imagine it could put some people off. We usually stay at a different hotel when in Daytona, but would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Read more

The hotel was recently renovated and was very clean- pretty and pristine. Very enjoyable stay and the people were fabulous. Just don't ask for a smoking room - they don't have them anymore. And if you buy the breakfast don't forget to print your coupons.

The room was very clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice. I was not pleased with my oceanfront room view. There was a palm tree blocking my view. I called the front desk and told them. The lady at the desk quickly changed my room with a better view. The pier was not as close as I thought it would be. Overall it was a great stay.
