      Lovely stay. Hotel is a little out of the way, but it's very close to public transport links, so that wasn't a problem. Staff spoke perfect English and German. There's a bakery just down the road too, which was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay there again.

    The hotel was quite comfortable, and it was very convenient for visiting LMU. The desk in the standard room was quite small and did not have a chair,... so doing any work in the room was a bit awkward. The neighborhood has quite a few restaurants to the northeast, and the ones that we tried were generally pretty good (including the restaurant just below the hotel).     Within reasonable walking distance, 15-20 minutes, to Marienplatz and surrounding area, Residenz, shopping S-Bahn, U-Bahn etc... Great price through Hotels.com. The rooms are a little small but given the price and location not worth complaining about. Most of our time was spent out seeing the city anyway. Would definitely stay again.

This is the third year in a row I've made it to Munich for Oktoberfest, and I have had good luck with all the hotels I have stayed in. Pro's: good location (near city center/Marienplatz), quite a good b-fast buffett, great & helpful staff. Con's: odd nuances in my room layout (i.e., short, […] narrow corridor between the bathroom and bed), really small shower, no computer available for guests to check their e-mail.     Pleased with service, rooms clean but bathrooms are very small! Location is about 15minutes slow walk to Marianplatz. Its in the student district near to some of the museums but nightlife/ shops is a bit lacking/basic.

    A great hotel for the price. We stayed for the Christmas markets and it was the perfect location, only a few minutes walk from the main square. The hotel is also within a 15min walk to some nice bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortanle. Would definately stay there again!

    Die Lage in Schwabing ist sehr gut. Leider gibt es keinen Parkplatz, sondern nur 5 Parkplätze in einem sehr schlecht ausgeschilderten Parkhaus um die Ecke. Das Personal ist dafür ausgesprochen freundlich. Leider ist das Zimmer nicht besonders sauber gewesen. Der Duschvorhang in dem viel, viel zu kleinen Badezimmer war EKELEREGEND schimmelig. Der Badezimmerlüfter […] war mit Staub zugesetzt. Das ist nicht Zumutbar!!! Und wenn es an der Hygiene mangelt, kann das leider nicht durch andere Vorzüge ausgeglichen werden.     Voyage à deux, pour visiter Munich. Hotel bien placé dans quartier des Universités, le centre ville (Marienplatz) est accessible en 12 minutes a pieds, en longeant des rues commerçantes. Station de métro pas loin. Plusieurs endroits sympas pour petit déjeuner aux alentours, fréquentés par étudiants ou habitants du quartier, si vous ne souhaitez pas […] déjeuner à l’hôtel.(Comme Kirstenpfennig juste en face) Certains diront que les chambres sont petites, mais elles sont suffisantes, bien équipées, bien décorées, lit confortable, pas de bruit. Accueil efficace, souriant et serviable à la réception (en anglais ou un peu français, si nécessaire). Je retournerais dans cet hôtel si je devais a nouveau séjourner à Munich. Read more

    Sehr beengte Zimmer, die Sauberkeit läßt zu wünschen übrig, der aufdringliche Raumduft soll den Zigarettengestank in den Räumen übertünchen, durch die dünnen Wände kann man den Zimmernachbarn beim Reden, Fernsehen und beim S.. zuhören. Eher was für Partyvolk, ich persönlich würde das Hotel nicht mehr buchen.

    Bei meinem Aufenthalt im Leonardo funktionierte das Warmwasser im Zimmer leider nicht, was bei einer Anreise nach 23Uhr, nach einer langen Fahrt wirklich stressig ist. Ich musste in der Nacht auf ein anderes Zimmer der selben Kategorie umziehen. Das Warmwassser funktionierte hier, dafür tropfte an einer Stelle die ganze Nacht Wasser auf die Zimmerdecke. […] Es hatte zuvor stark Gewittert. Trotzdem natürlich beides sehr unschön und die Zimmer waren so klein, dass man sich eigentlich nur aufs Bett setzen konnte um sich nicht zu stoßen. Nach meiner Beschwerde gab es ein kostenloses Frühstück als Entschädigung. Das Frühstück ist auch das einzige was ich bedenkenlos empfehlen würde. Read more

Ligger i ett område med trevliga fik och OK matställen. Nära till parken och de centrala delarna (ca 10 min promenad) Om hotellets egna garage är fullt finns ett allmänt garage inte långt ifrån […] som är hyfsat stort.     Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, überall blättert die Farbe ab, Bodenleisten lösen sich... Toilettenspülung hat nicht genügend Wasserdruck. In den 5 Tagen meines Aufenthalts waren auch Reparaturarbeiten im Gang von Gange, resp. am ersten Tag haben sie irgendwelche Kabel aus ner Wand gezogen und das blieb dann so die restlichen 4 Tage (davon […] 2 Werktage) liegen. Grundsätzlich macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck. Die verwendeten Materialen sind zwar mehr Schein als sein und ich hätte mir einen Schreibtisch oder einen Loungetisch gewünscht, an dem man arbeiten kann. Zudem sind die Zimmertüren und Fenster sehr ringhörig, d.h. jedesmal wenn meine Zimmernachbarn die Türen zugezogen haben, hat man das mitbekommen und da die Amalienstrasse auch ein Ausgehviertel ist, bekommt man Wochenende der Lärm der Strasse mit. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, das ist ein grosser Vorteil, nicht nur wenn man geschäftlich in der Stadt ist. Zimmergrösse war super (Zimmer 315) und auch schön hell am Tag. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht im Hotel eingenommen, kann das somit nicht bewerten. Es sind aber auch 2 leckere Bäckereien in der Strasse bei denen man lecker & günstig Frühstücken kann. WLan muss man bezahlen und war mit einem MacBook etwas schwieriger sich ein zu wählen (via Supporthotline) - via iPhone kein Problem. Das Receptionpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Read more

    Soweit alles okay, bis auch die Schalldämmung der Zimmer. Diese ist miserabel und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Man konnte problemlos die Gespräche der Zimmernachbarn verfolgen und wusste, was bei ihnen im Fernsehen läuft.

    Wir waren mit diesem Hotel nicht sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer (insbesondere Bad) war sehr klein; Mangelnde Sauberkeit (Flecken auf Bettwäsche, Haare im Bad); Fernseher im Zimmer schlecht aufgestellt; nach Reklamation dass WC nicht richtig funktioniert, haben wir ein neues Zimmer bekommen

    Badeværelserne (eller nærmere kosteskabene) er desværre alt for små, man kan nærmest kun bakke ind på nogen af dem. Værelserne er generelt meget små og klemte i indretningen. Renoveringen af hotellet er sløset gennemført. Værelserne egner sig kun som enkelt eller par, da døren til badeværelset både er gennemsigtig og absolut ikke er lydtæt. Beliggenheden […] er topklasse, men desværre er det noget af det eneste dette hotel har at byde på. Betjeningen var for det meste venlig, men rengøringen var aldeles mangelfuld. Internetadgang fra hotellet er ustabilt og MEGET overtakseret, men nettet fra restauranten nedenunder kan fanges på flere etager og har væsentlig billigere priser. Read more
