Stayed for sister's wedding with the rest of the family. Rooms were clean, housekeeping did a great job. Can't tell if it's just Jacksonville, but the staff were nice and accommodating. There is a spa/fitness/golf but we did not partake. This is located right next to the beach [literally overlooking].

The location of the Ponte Vedra Inn is awesome for the Jacksonville Beach area. You feel like you have the private beach to yourself and there 2 golf courses that are hard to beat. The gym is unbelievable offering tons of classes every day. The staff and members were all very friendly. I will stay there again.

This is a very beautiful resort! The only negative thing I have to say is they charge an automatic gratuity and resort fee on all the restaurants in the resort (even snack bar) and a court fee for tennis so a little pricey, however very convenient to local restaurants.

The hotel is misleading. You expect to be at a resort right on the beach. My building was half a mile away and there was no way to even see the ocean. Everything shuts down at the resort at 8pm. There were no vending or drink machines. Nice hotel in an nice neighborhood. Not enough stuff close to the resort. We wanted to find a sports bar to have a couple of drinks. Nothing but the resort bar was within walking or driving distance. We would have had to drive all the way up to Jax Beach to find something. As a result the drinks were quite expensive because it was the resort bar which […] is also small. The locaton, the service and the beach were great. My only complaint is that when we opened he door to the room we were hit by a very strong must/moldy smell of wet carpet. Everything else was great and with the seabreeze we slept with the windows open. Otherwise we would not have stayed.

We requested and received onfirmmation for a two bed golf course room. When we arrived we were told those room not available. Put us instead in a one bed room with a ocean "view" We could see ocean out one window between two buildings.

First class from start to finish. A beautiful piece of property located on the Atlantic Ocean, and it is private and quiet. The rooms were wonderful. The beach right outside the door is awesome. I thought the restaurant(Seahorse Grill) was very good for the money. I definitely hope to return!

We recently stayed at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club from August 23rd - August 29th. This was one of our best family vacations. The ocean view room was very spacious with plenty of room for myself, hubby, and 3 year old daughter. We only had to go down a flight of stairs and we were walking along the beach. The kid's playground could have been larger with […] more swings, slides, etc. We had no complaints because there was no one in the area besides my daughter. The kiddie pool was awesome. My daughter can't swim but there was a swallow area for the non-swimmers. There is also tennis, spa, and golf....entertainment for everyone. I just wanted the beach and a good book, lol. We didn't dine at any of the restaurants as we didn't bring any dress clothes...no blue jackets and black dresses.....We opted to dine at neighboring restaurants....there are many to choose from. I was disappointed that if i wanted a chair for the beach i had to pay an additional fee. Stacks of lounges were locked up all along the beach waiting for an additional fee to be paid to use them. Seems to me this could be included in the "resort fee" that is charged daily.
