Ok, but needs more than what a vacuum and broom can do. Things don't work, Like the phone system and wifi, and the building very much shows it is past its sell by date.

The hotel is in a good location, shopping, food, entertainment etc. But the facility is in need of a good over hall. They offered free breakfast but there was very little to pick from. It was on the inexpensive side so you get what you pay for.

The room was nice and warm. The grounds around the motel were dirty. We did have a lot of trouble with our key ( card ) when opening the door. Others had the same problem. They were new type locks so maybe they have to get the bugs out. All in all I would recommend staying there. Price is very good for this area.

The room we were in was on the third floor didn't really like the utility door and kitchen door open sorta an eye sore.when coming out of ropm pn Sunday morning there was thw smell of smoking coming from the authorized smoke rooms. .was a little offensive. Other than those few issues we had a pleasant stay.

My recommendation is that you should never stay in this hotel. The desk clerk (the bald one) was very was rude & uncaring. He was too busy on his cell to even look up while we were talking. "I'm listening" he said. While I was checking in he yelled at another customer behind me. The soda machines were empty or broken. The sink started gurgling while we were sitting across the room then burped up some kind of brown goop.Then later, the toilet overflowed all over the place. Not fun!!!

Enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Excellent service. I like the free breakfast. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay next time in the hotel. The only problem that I found was the Wi-Fi. I can't connect to my company VPN.

we stay at Red Roof a couple times a year. reasonably priced and close to the things we want to do. we prefer a room on the side not in front due to road traffic. room looks clean but bathroom had a lot of hair in the corners.

Red Roof was a good stay. The room was nice and clean. The bedding covers are outdated. The staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was nothing to brag about, but it was a meal. I will stay there again when I travel back to Lancaster.

My husband & I have stayed here whenever we visited Lancaster. Location is central to everything. We had an issue the second night of our stay when our swipe cards to get back into the room didn't work & they had to reset our cards. Also, the only day they had a decent breakfast was Saturday, but there are plenty of places to choose from.

Close to the awesome Outlet shopping as well as the wonderful shops and eateries in Bird-In-Hand Affordable hotel and the best part...the tv was actually on the wall at a height you didn't have to look down to. .

Second time we stayed at this hotel. It is clean and well kept. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel then don't stay here, but if you just need a clean place to stay with a friendly staff then stay here. Many hotels in the surrounding area have gone way down hill over the past few years. This one beats all of the ones in it's price bracket.

Check in was smooth, but went downhill from there. Our room was not clean, the bedsheets on the one bed had not been changed and had stains on it. The floor was not swept, there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door and the sink was practically clogged and there was no water pressure. Not to mention the breakfast area was filthy, and coffee very weak. The good news is we only stayed one night.

My husband & I stayed there 2 nights for a short honeymoon. We choose this location because we were going to the Sight and Sound theatre(which was incredible) which was 5 minutes away. It is also on the strip with 2 outlets and MANY shops and restaurants! The hotel was great, the room was comfy and clean. We did not go to the free breakfast, but there is a IHOP 2 doors down! Overall hotel was great & location is perfect!

Our trip was just overnight, to do some shopping at Rockvale Outlets and Walmart, didn't want to shop all day & then get on the road to drive back to NY late, Red Roof Inn wasn't far from the Rockvale & Tanger Outlets; presentable appearance from the outside and to our surprise was next door (literally walking distance) to a Golden Corral Restaurant, rooms were very nice, comfortable bed, frig, microwave, coffeemaker, safe, iron & ironing board, cable & wifi (a lot of cable channels available). Looked across the highway and there was a IHOP, and found a Sonic further down the road, if decide to take this trip again, would most definitely stay at this Red Roof Inn again.

It was a cold and windy night. There was a lot of draft coming in around the door and window. No problem with the cleanliness of the room. We drink Hot tea and the water in the thermos at breakfast was only luke warm. She did make more hot water ,but said what was there was probably from the day before. Kinda of a silly statement. Does not reflect well.

The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to Applebees or Texas Roadhouse. We have stayed here over ten times. The reason being that we have a small cat and they allow small animals with no pet fee. However, next time going to look for a new place. The beds are uncomfortable and the room is dated--the tvs are not flat screen and the refridge. in the room did not work. Also being that it is directly on Route 30--you hear all the trucks passing by all night-especially if you are given a room in the front.

Hotel looked in good condition after remodeling but its old fashioned structural bones still showed. There's a main building with an internal hallway and other buildings with rooms opening directly to the outdoors. The door at the end of my hallway was propped open to the outdoors most of the time I was there in any case. The elevator was next to one external staircase, both serving all floors and totally open to the elements. The room was furnished with a king-size bed, small work table, a sofa, mini-fridge (heavily over frosted), microwave (with the only reliable clock visible in the room - once I set it to the correct time, flat screen tv directly over the work table and facing the bed, and a small coffee/end table with the one-cup coffeemaker sitting on it. I was never able to get the clock radio to stop flashing the wrong time (perhaps because it was plugged into a switched outlet) so I turned it to the wall. My room surprisingly also came with a working jacuzzi (which perhaps explained in part why the room was furnished but not decorated with everything just put where it would fit). The free breakfast demonstrated offered steam tray scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle maker, dry cereal, instant oatmeal (with no source of water hot enough to actually make oatmeal with it), toast, bagels, packaged pastries, weak coffee, and apples

I stayed for 9 days at this facility. I was less than impressed. The front desk personnel were fine. The cleaning person comes around at 8:30 am every day and if you happen to be asleep, but leave later on in the morning, your room is not serviced. I don't typically get up that early when on vacation. My room card ceased to function every other day, even though I had the room for 9 days. The floor in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty. I have stayed at multiple Red Roof Inns across the country and this is by far the worst one.

Our keys stopped working. We went through three sets. They were held away from magnetic fields. The front desk clerks were rude and insulting. They ran out of gravy and biscuits. They never bothered to stock up. One half hour into breakfast.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel in less than 45 days. The first time we had a problem with towels. There were 2 towels for 2 people. We asked for more they didn't bring them. We had to ask again the next day. The second time it was the same story. We had one towel for 2 people, no wash rags. We asked for more and they brought one more towel. Had to specifically ask for two more towels and 2 wash rags. Soda machines in the entire building did not work. We killed two unidentifiable bugs crawling on the walls that may have been roaches. I left my cell phone and charger by accident. I was told to send them a fed ex box with a prepaid label and they would send. I appreciate that they found my phone but after just staying there 2 different times wouldn't it be good customer service to ship it to me free of charge Returning to Lancaster in December and will probably try to stay somewhere else. The location is fantastic. If you can put up with bugs and no towels this is the place to stay. Convenient to everything.

We were given a handicap room and we are not there yet. The bathroom had a lot of wasted space even for a handicap room. Better use of space would have been nice, example: no desk, no dresser to put clothes, just a small shelf with a few hangers. we have stayed here before and every thing was fine, not this time

Hotel was very nice for the money. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing is the heater was really loud so every time the heat went on I woke up for a bit. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel. It's close to restaurants, so once you check in you don't have to drive if you don't want to, and it is close to shopping.

The Red Roof is a low budget hotel with low prices. It was in a wonderful location, right on Rt. 30, close to the outlets and other attractions. They serve a breakfast that we didn't try b/c we have favorite places to go when we are there. There aren't many amenities but we didn't pay for them so we didn't expect them. There is a blow dryer, small refrigerator and microwave in each room. Soap, shampoo and lotion are provided. It has free wifi. The room is clean but needs a better vacuum for the carpets. The employees are very friendly and try to help with problems or directions. For the price it is one of the best on Rt. 30 in Lancaster.

very nice for the most part. recently refreshed room, with a hot tub, didn't expect that. breakfast was kind of hit or miss...there was no hot food the first day, only waffles and pitiful muffins. eggs and sausage the second day, biscuits and gravy the third (which I'm not especially fond of). another option would have been nice, like hot cereal, or bagels, or donuts, or danish. but the coffee was ok, and hot, and plentiful, and the juice never ran out.

I asked for extra coffee and your cleaning person spoke very poor English. The lady at Sunday am meal got little mad at customer asking where biscuits were--------she burned 2nd patch and after 1/2 hour wait brought out biscuits for SOS. She could have used some extra help by your staff in helping her on Sunday morning.
