"Nice staff, clean room"
After my original hotel was overbooked hotels.com put me here. The late night front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful in helping me deal with hotels.com customer service. The room was fine - normal, clean, quiet, no complaints. Only there one night. Doubt I'll ever pass through Danville again but if I did I'd stay here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The highway was loud and the room smelled."
We stayed here because we were attending parents weekend. Stay away from Danville - go to Williamsport!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the money"
I could have spent 60 dollars for one night right down the road, and it was the same exact setup! My daughter hurt her ankle so bad in the pool, and of course they have no medical things to help. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable! Never again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"It's ok, but..."
Trying to be balanced with my review. Pros: Convenient to town New mattress, linens, pillows Right off I-80, but quiet Front desk staff very helpful Cons: Older, dated, needs a facelift Bathroom was dirty, really dirty Security doors propped openGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very out dated smells bad in hallways musty"
Should have stayed in a tent ! Never again, very outdated rooms and hallways very musty spelling , desk staff not at all friendly will not recommend to others, Danville in a nutshell all hotels outdated and dirty do yourself a favor pitch a tent or drive to BloomsburgGenuine Expedia guest review
For a hotel in this price range, their was a surprising amount of "old" atmosphere to the place. The beds were great, but the lighting, carpet and general feel for the place seemed less than modern. The phone didn't work, and the towels all had a grey dinge to them even though they were clean and fresh smelling. Slightly peeling wallpaper and dated […] decor should command a better price. "Quality Inn Danville, PA"
Terrible Wi-Fi connection. Could not use. Very difficult to control temperature in room. Poor quality treadmills in Gym. No TV remote in Gym.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were traveling to New York and stopped at this hotel for the night. It was clean, no bed bugs, I checked thoroughly. There was no elevator, but for a stop for the night it was a good place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Hotel for Location"
Good stay. Nothing special, nothing horrible. Good Bar/Restaurant and good hot breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was fine, the staff was nice, but the place was so deserted that my wife muttered "REDRUM, REDRUM" as we drove up. The access road was dark and the main sign by the road was very dim. Perhaps they do a better business during surgery season.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hallways of the hotel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Smoke rooms smelled terrible. We could not get another room. Very disappointed in stay. Couldn't wait to leave.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel hallways and room are worn. Sheets were comfortable but the bed was a bit soft (roll to the middle). Unfortunately, the morning we left water began dripping through our ceiling bathroom from the above bathroom. It was satisfactory enough for our short stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"ok for one night"
the outside of the hotel almost made me leave but the inside was actually ok. I only stayed one night but it was queit and actually was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel. Lack of elevator is a big drawback if you are on the second floor.Breakfast looked good, but most of the food had run out by the time we got there at 730Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and spacious."
Tired but well laid out space. To bad the food service is lacking in the area. The hotel has the facility to serve guests and public, but only offer the bare minimum is offered.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Aside from the Holy carpet, we found the space to be more than adequate and the staff to be pleasant and helpful. We will look forward to stay there in the future. A good value for a tired building.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Hotel, Spotty Wi-Fi"
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Nice breakfast spread with waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns, yogurt, etc. My only problem was the wi-fi. The desk was on the far end of the room, near the windows and I could not get online there with either my laptop or my phone. It was much better on the bed closest to the bathroom […] (our room had two queen beds. It was too cool to go swimming during my stay but the pool was clean and well-kept. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Reasonably priced comfortable hotel"
My husband and I needed a hotel for 1 night to attend a wedding. This hotel was perfectly located, clean and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and we had a good experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not bad but not great"
The sliders on the closet were off track, There was a long black hair on the toilet seat when we walked in. The breakfast was just ok. Not enough sausage and one of the cerial dispensers were broken. Small damage to wall behind lamp in between beds. These are very inexpensive fixes! Room seemed clean as were the beds. Would I stay again? Yes. Would […] my wife? No. Service at breakfast was almost none existant. Hotel grounds needs some weed treatment and a good weed wack. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel for the price."
Room was nice, had small refrigerator and microwave, king bed, separate sitting area with foldout couch. Only complaint was that the hallways all smelled like smoke. The room was fine, but the hallways obviously used to allow smoking and didn't get rid of the smell.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room smelled of cigarette smokeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We've stayed at many Quality Inns and this one was not up to their usual standards. It's obviously old and needs redoing. The suite was spacious, but there was no refrigerator or microwave. Bathroom grouting was stained; toilet wouldn't flush (but was promptly fixed). Barebones hot breakfast was lukewarm and lacked usual QI items such as hard-boiled […] eggs, English muffins, bagels. Server in breakfast area was sullen. This large motel had very few occupancies, adding to aura of depression. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Breakfast is not best when served cold"
Room was comfortable and of a good size. We traveled with a small dog and he liked the grounds. The breakfast was good but the breakfast room was too cold for comfort (about 55 F) so we took our food to our room. Staff said the breakfast room had been cold all winter and they did not know why. Without this issue, I would have given a higher rating.Genuine Expedia guest review
The check-in staff was very helpful & accommodating. Hotel was clean & nice-we stayed in a king suite. Breakfast buffet was convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tired of poor upkeep"
12/26/14 Dave M
I am on the road often and this hotel was not one i could really relax in. Seems as lately all of my rooms have paint peeling and wallpaper coming off the wall as well. Not a comfort zone when your trying to relax after hard days work. Staff was very kind and pleasant. You hate to tell them the room stunk. There were lights out where you unload your car by the front entrance, room carpet had large and small stains all over it. Sorry guys, but only thing keep this from zero stars was the employees.

We were on the road and just looking for a cheap place to sleep. The rate here was dirt cheap so we were surprised to find our room was a spacious and clean suite. Certainly not luxurious, but well beyond our expectations. We'll be putting it on our list of good places to stop for the night!
"more than adequate"
11/11/14 d_tarleton pennsylvania
nice comfortable bed and pillows, clean rooms and bathroom, breakfast was good. Nothing really spectacular to speak of but was more than adequate for our needs. We chose this hotel because of a coupon we found in a catalog at a rest area. Without the coupon, I would have considered it overpriced for the value.

This is one of the best Motels I have found, It is very very clean, the staff is Professional and helpful. The furnishings are home quality. You can relax and enjoy youslef. It is reasonable priced for what you get. I will recommend this motel to one and all.
"What a disaster!"
For an overprized Quality Inn, you would expect at least a fridge, a room without noise or a nice heater. No such luck. Rooms are old and hallways are noisy. The heater is even older, and the noise, which comes and goes as the thermostat tells it, makes it impossible to sleep (unless you put both blankets together and supress all bathroom trips). On top of that, being a handicapped room, there was not a single bath chair in the whole hotel. Staff on the breakfast was rude and their fridge didn't work, so people were constantly trying to open it to get yogurt and not a single sign to look on the other side for it submerged on ice was there. And the cherry on the cake: wifi didn't work at all. What a joy!
"Dark @ Night "
This is our 2nd stay here this summer. First time was better. This time I see they fixed the card readers for the rear door, BUT it's DARK in the rear parking lot where the closest entrances are to the rooms. Some of the pole lights weren't working and just about all the lights on the building weren't working. If it was not for this being a nice area, I'd be worried about my car being broken into or stolen. Because it is DARK. The nice big sign by the entrance is nice during the day, but at night you can drive rite on by without seeing it. Might be nice if it worked, not sure if it's illuminated or not, if so it sure isn't now. Might be a good idea to hire an electrician to fix the parking lot lights and the sign. Besides the above issues, staff is super nice, place is fairly clean and the breakfast is decent. We will stay here again when we visit the area.
"Clean room, Close to highway!!"
08/26/14 24WilliamS24 Cleveland, Ohio, Usa
I had to use this hotel because it was under $100 and it was Little League World Series weekend. Not much else available. Room was very clean. Close to Highway and the city of Danville PA. Had a Great time. Great little town. Used the clean pool. Breakfast was better then most. Stayed on a Sat. night and was not that busy. Good value for the money.
"Dirty, old, and overpriced"
08/18/14 tcdc85 Washington DC, District of Columbia
The only positive for this place was the fact that they had a room available at the last minute after my original accommodation at a very nice place in Bloomsburg fell through due to double booking. This hotel appears to be closed from the outside. There is no care paid to the grounds or exterior and the area where the hotel is located sits at a highway intersection where there is a closed down gas station and restaurant. The room itself was very old, horrible linens and furniture, dirty and damaged bathroom, and best of all (kidding) was the price, $154.29 WITH my AAA discount. Clearly they had me over a barrel because of the last minute need for a room. I've never paid this much money for such a terrible accommodation in such a Podunk location. The town this hotel is in is very economically depressed. The only restaurant that had passable food (barely) was a chain restaurant down the road a bit. The desk clerk was friendly, I'll give her that, but she was puzzled when I asked her if the hotel was closing down (due to its exterior appearance), wondering out loud "I don't know why everyone think we are closed". Had she not been so cheery, I would have given the worst rating of "terrible"-avoid this place if you have a choice.
"Good Value for older motel"
08/11/14 keltik01 NJ
We usually stay at a different Choice hotel in the area, but opted for the Quality because they were cheaper. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Shout out to the maintenance and housekeeping who helped us with a toilet issue shortly after arriving. The rooms were clean and comfortable. As other reviews have stated, we had some issues too with the card keys working properly - especially the outside doors. The breakfast area was large, with plenty of seating. The buffet was standard hotel fare, that was kept well stocked. The lone employee had a bit of a problem keeping up with demand around 9am on Saturday, but I think he did a good job. The pool was clean as was the deck. The inside could use some TLC as the paint was peeling in places, but it did not stop us from swimming. There is no elevators, and the back rooms are quite a walk to the breakfast area. If you have difficulty with walking or stairs, you way want to request a room on the 1st floor, close to the front. Would consider staying here again if the price is right!
"worst hotel in area"
08/10/14 chuck m Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania
we have vacationed in the area several times over last 10 years, we had booked a room here and it was the worst experience we ever had at a hotel in the area to make matters worse because we brought our wheelchair bound son into the attached restaurant they kept us waiting over an hour just to be seated , we got so mad we left and eat our breakfast at the T/A travel Center at Buckhorn exit off route 80. Stay away from this hotel they are the worst of the worst
