We were very pleased with the large pool area. Kiddie pool, jetted tub and large main pool spaced out in center of hotel and maintained well. Kids had a blast during a stay over visit.

Our room never got cleaned. We went out and came back to our room left the way it was. Went and asked to get just some clean towels and some coffee for in the morning. It took me three times of asking for it to be done.

Waiting nearly an hour past checkin time on our room. Staff was less than concerned about our wait or inconvenience. Hotel was dated, and in need of an update and overhaul. Fortunatuely, we spent very little time in the hotel.

My stay was ok. I was in town recruiting for the Kentucky Girls High School State Tournament. My check-in was nice and fast and I couldn't complain there. My problem began when I walked into my room and saw a tube television, upon turning it on, it would not pick up ANY channels. I went to the front desk and they told me I should not have been checked […] into that room but that they would replace the tv w/ an lcd. It took them about an hour to find a replacement (maybe they had to go to Best Buy). The bathroom tub was definately not cleaned and I had no towels or cloths. Then at night the curtains in the room would not close all the way so sleep wasn't that great because I had constant lights in my room until the sun came up. The main factor of me staying here is that I could basically stay two nights here for the price of one anywhere else (it was a busy weekend in bowling green). I would not stay here again. Read more

We enjoyed the hotel and loved the room but the pool parties were endless on Saturday and we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub and pool like we wanted to. The front desk staff was great and I must say that the beds were very comfortable. The problem was that it was not very clean. The bathroom floor was dirty and the roach traps were visible in the room. Also, the blanket on the bed had burn holes even though we requested a non-smoking room. Overall, it smelled heavily of smoke.

This is a hotel where you get what you pay for, a somewhat clean room with little else to speak of. We chose this hotel because they allowed pets and our two dogs were traveling with us. Pros: -The staff were very friendly and polite. -Our dogs were allowed in the room. -Mini fridge and microwave. Cons: -There were mushrooms growing out of the carpet […] by the window. -The shower backed up after a couple minutes of being used. We both took our showers with the tub half full of dirty water and then politely asked them to fix it while we were gone that day. They assured us they would and we didn't check it until we showered again the next morning - it wasn't fixed. -The closet door was off the tracks and barely moved when trying to open it. This was my fourth trip booked through Hotels. com. We were in town to drop my son off for college. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that they were unaware that I had already paid for the rooms. It took about 30 minutes for verification of payment with Hotels.com. I brought along my mother and requested and required an accessible room. I am a fan of Baymont hotels having stayed in other properties BUT this hotel was very bad. They looked like they were in the process of changing the hotel from a best western into a Baymont. When we arrived the man informed us that he did not have any queen rooms (that i had booked thru expedia) he claimed he had one room left and it was a double. […] We took what he had and upon entering the "non-smoking room" there was a strong smell of smoke. Having signed a paper saying we would have to pay $200 if we smoked in the room, we went to get another room. The man claimed it smelled like smoke because people in the room above us were smoking. He finally agreed to give us another room (although he had already given us his last room). The new room was located in another part of the hotel that smelled of sewer. The room was not very clean. We found beer caps around the room along with a women's sports bra! I think Baymont should close this property until it is up to their standards! Read more

Needs to be tore down and rebuilt. Ice maker on second floor was not only not working but wasn't even connected to a water line. The line it was supposed to be connected to was routed to the drain in the floor and continuously running water. Very disappointing night. Very over priced. Stay at your own risk.

When I booked the room, the motel was listed as a "Best Western" motel. It may have once been, but not now - it's the Baymont Motel and "a bit difficult" to find #HINT - it's tucked in BEHIND another motel#! To be fair - they were in the process of replacing signs, but the Best Western sign on the highway was covered/gone!

I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the USA and I must say that the staff here is second to none. All my needs were quickly taken care of with regard to the room. The room was clean and the pool is nice. The hotel advertises an exercise room, which needs A LOT of work. The staff constantly apologized for the condition of the exercise room. […] It appears as though management or corporate doesn't care about customer service or it would give the staff something to work with with.Corporate advertises the amenities but the staff has to make the apologies when ownership fails to come through on advertised services. We stayed at Baymont Bowling Green b/c we were visiting Beech Bend Park. If we weren't at the park they were in the pool at the hotel. We will stay here again. It was quiet and comfortable.

I was able to book a room at the hotel online very late, which I now know is not an easy thing to do through some online travel sites. The price was affordable, even at the last minute. The bed was more comfortable than I had anticipated, which was the main thing I wanted for the night. It was no inconvenience to me, and was just happy to have the room. Very quiet room, as I had no idea it was raining all night. Slept soundly, air conditioning worked well, and they had a basic continental breakfast in the morning. No frills hotel, but that is really not the reason you spend the night here to begin with.
