Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was small, but it was just me for one night so that wasn't an issue...had I been staying longer, I would have tried to get a larger room. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable and room was clean.

It's a nice boutique hotel, with surroundinds worthy of a walk. Staff was very nice and helpful (even though we checked in very late in the night), rooms we're not "big", but comfortable enough to fit a couple (I'm not sure if the same rooms would work for 2 people who are not a couple). very nice location because you can get anywhere conveniently. you don't have to put up with congested touristy south beach and expenses of that area but sobe is only 3+ miles away so you can enjoy it at arms length so to speak. also, you are in east-central miami-dade county so a huge area is accessible via major roadways. the staff is great. friendly, […] informative and effecient. a REAL continental breakfast with breads, bagels, fruits, juices and coffee machine that makes all the fun stuff (cappucino et al) and no limit help yourself. take a free newspaper or magazine too. parking cheap and close. see if you can find $8 day anywhere on the Beach....heck anywhere in the world!! room is roomy and best of all, done with "style". we took pictures of the bathroom to see if we can replicate it in our home. one major beef and one minor beef. major = thin walls. our next door neighbor came home and turned on their tv at 1am. sounded like it was our tv. thankfully they turned off soon but in morning they were chatting on phone and could have been in our room. was not their fault was faulty construction. not sure how they could fix now. the minor beef is hallway rug that has cool design but looking dirtyish. overall we loved the joint. will return for sure but will try for room without neighbors if possible or take ear plugs. I loved staying here, although the room was a bit small it was very nicely decorated. The only complaint was that there was no elevator, and I was traveling with my 98 year old grandmother, but they changed us to a room on the first floor.

Great hotel! Very near public beach, allowed us to have our small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for only $10.00 per night, (a bargain in Miami) and was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. We stopped in for one night on our way back North from the Keys. The hotel was in a great neighborhood surrounded by many great dining options. The room was spacious and modern but not cold - we really liked the style of the whole hotel. The bed was very comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

Not outstanding but not bad either. Price was good though so I would recommend. Only thing that was annoying is that the water was out during the first couple of hours of our stay because they were "updating the pipes". Kind of an odd thing to do on a Saturday which is a popular day to check in to a hotel.

Daddy O Hotel was one of the best hotels I've stayed in Miami. I was looking a central location where I would not have to drive a lot and have the privacy for a couple's stay-cation retreat. This spot was perfect with several restaurants within walking distance, bars, shops and the beach. We enjoyed the time spent in FL. The management of the hotel tried to do everything to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was adequate. We especially liked the coffee machine. The free juice at the lobby was horrible (super diluted). The general impression is very good. Hotel is a walking distance from the very nice and serene beach.

Daddy O's staff was absolutely bend-over-backwards happy to accommodate. We checked in for a couple of nights to recuperate from jet lag, before returning home for our trip. How pleasantly surprised we were to find our room had been freshly painted, the bed was comfortable, television was huge, shower was clean... Gave a 4/5 rating fir cleanliness only […] because on the second day housekeeping didn't vacuum the room. Gave 4/5 on neighborhood because of parking limitations and lack of nightlife, but the neighborhood is safe and quiet, within walking distance of the beach.. A totally refurbished classic hotel in Bay Harbor. Very friendly and accomodating staff, always ready to help you out. Very well located, near Bal Harbor, and next door to famous Palm restaurant. Pity the actual building has NO view.
