The hotel was adequate and the location convenient for the event I attended. The price was reasonable. I appreciated the free continental breakfast. The breakfast room--an interior room without windows--is small and was crowded both days I was there. Alternate seating is in the more pleasant lobby with windows! Also at this Best Western, unlike at other BWs where I've stayed, the towels noticeably scratchy, not soft, are either old or require different laundering.

This might be the nicest hotel based right on the ocean at Ocean Beach. The staff was very helpful, the room immaculate, and the location second to none. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the area, but I won't stay anywhere but here in the future. You can't go wrong with an ocean front suite!

We needed a last min getaway for a few days to unwind and enjoy a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was awesome very friendly made us common folk feel like celebrities. Great service location and atmosphere . If your dog people you will love this hotel very pet friendly. We will be staying here again and bring our dog as well . The ac in the room was a lil uncopertive however the weather was perfect so not much use was needed. Room service food was great small portions but very tasty. Location is great have drinks on the. 9 h floor lounge and what the game from a spectacular view.

"close to large industrial/commercial area"
Overall hotel condition was acceptable, but the hallways and elevator needed to be vacuumed. Not up to Marriot's normal exceptionally high standards.

If you don't need to be downtown I highly recommend. No parking fees, great pool area, food was good. Location for my trip was perfect. Staff very friendly and accomodating. We will be back on our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The rooms and grounds were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. We purchased the breakfast/room combo and were pleasantly surprised to have made to order omelets available along with many other choices.

We have booked at this location because a friend lives close by and we are visiting SD to visit her. The room is nice, clean and well-stocked, but you know nothing special, although the free wireless internet is very reliable and very much appreciated! The location is on quiet side of SD, you'd have to drive to experience the town, fyi.

We pride ourselves on creating a relaxing enviornment so that our guests don't feel bombarded with the rush of the city. The Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Central is a unique hotel in that we are a place of business and service for our weekday guests as well as a weekend getaway for our leisure travelers. Clean comfortable, easy place to stay for business
The room smelled of vomit making a night's rest very uncomfortable.The hotel was booked so there was no other option but to suffer the stench.

The staff was great! The hotel was nice the breakfast was fabulous! My 1 complaint... Someone needed to run a vacuum and a shampooer over the carpet in the elevator! Every single time we got into the elevator it felt like we just left a very nice place and walked into motel 3! "Comfortable and Convenient"
Excellent location right off 163 Freeway. Several great restaurants within walking distance, plus good restaurant in hotel.Excellent breakfast, good service and knowlegeable and helpful staff. We like the hotel's location because it is easy to get to almost any San Diego area attraction or location.

"Would stay here again!"
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. My room was very nice, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a view that overlooked the pool. The gym was also very nice with tv's on the machines. I did order room service and it was good. The location is very close to Mission Valley mall and Hillcrest.

The Courtyard Mariott is located in a business district . The surrounding is very clean and seems very safe and quiet. A few blocks down are fast food areas, gas stations and a variety of little restaurants. It is very close to freeways that will get you to downtown SanDiego in less than 15 minutes. The room is very pretty with an asian feel to it. […] It's very modern with an IPHONE docking station, flat screen TV, free WIFI and the best blow dryer I have come across in any hotels lately. There is a mini convenience store, vending machines on every floor, clean and working computers and printers for guests to use. There is room service available a lounge and a restaurant that serves a very delicious breakfast buffet which is not complimentary. I spent alot more than what I wanted to spend but I felt safe the whole time, I loved the room and all the amenities and everything was clean and new. Read more

Everything about this hotel was great! Free parking (which is getting tough to find these days), an amazing breakfast and very friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern. Will for sure stay here again.

Actually staying at this hotel was a good experience. I would suggest that they should have flyers of local attraction.So you know what you can do around over there. Refrigerator was there in the room but there was no Microwave. Thats the only bad thing about this hotel.

"great hotel"
Great hotel with lots of free parking. Close to freeway and with-in 5-6 miles of most favorite attractions in San Diego and Beaches...Just like Marriott should be...
