The room was very nice but the shower was poor. We had problems getting hot water and it never did get really hot. We are hoping for a resoloution from Hampton. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. Also it was quiet even though our room was close to the front desk.

Went on a sisters weekend holiday October 12th, 2012. Amazing staff! Neeed large room, so stayed in the suite that slept 8 and it was large and comfortable. Have already recommended to a friend. Only spending one night and wanted something affordable, but comfortable, with pool/hot tub, complimentary breakfast - Hampton Inn Petoskey fit the bill perfectly. Check in was not a good experience, prepaid for 3 rooms, only had 2. Clerk was not very service oriented and blamed it on Hotels.com versus taking action to rectify the matter. It was 10 pm when we arrived so we simply wanted our room and not a hassle. We did end up getting out 3rd room.

This hotel is quite nice except our room was on the bottom floor. Unfortunately the dinning area was right overhead. So we were woken up before 6am. Running and walking and chairs being dragged overhead.

Great hotel, within walking distance to downtown and beaches, parks. Large clean rooms, hot breakfast is an added bonus. Great views of the lake. Indoor pool is nice but during our stay had too much chlorine in the water

The staff could not have been more accommodating! We had some plumbing problems and were moved and upgraded immediately. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was an added treat.

Our room smelled of sweat and there was an unknown noise which kept us up all night. Front desk didn't seem to care.

Desk staff unattentative invisible in fact for several minutes in thaw back room gossiping with the neighbors. Keys never worked in the original room went through a couple of changes before totally giving up and demanding a room where the locked worked.

They were redoing the flooring in the lobby when I was there this time, so it wasn't normal, but they took good care of me.

It was close to many stores and restaurants, as well as being literally right between Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands. Great Staff! The king bed was great, but could have used a foam topper to make it that much more comfortable. Hot tob worked great and actually was a HOT tub! Good morning breakfast as well.

We enjoyed our stay! The breakfast room is lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was good: many choices. Our room and bathroom were clean and everything was in working order. The receptionist at the desk was helpful in recommending places to eat in town. We'll stay there again, when we're in Petoskey.

It's your typical Hampton Inn, clean and comfortable. Nothing is really wow about it, but if your not a picky person that likes to complain about everything, you'll find nothing wrong with this hotel.

Great room, great breakfast bar, clean room, comfortable beds, good-size pool and hot tub, exercise room. Great location at south end of Petoskey - convenient to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, Mackinac Island. Even took a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Wonderful time with my kids.

I always wipe down the inside/outside door handles, knobs on bathroom door, tub, shower, counters, toliet, sink, wall switch plates, tv control, tables...everything basically. This room was clean, but could of been cleaner. The bed was fine & comfty. Staff was very nice & helpful. Tv control did not work. Staff said they had a storm the night before […] and controls wouldn't work. They told the truth. We drove around the area & tree limbs were laying around in several different places. Room was quiet. All was nice at hotel with the exception of the pool area,neeeds updating,hotel linens need up dating ours were clean but pilly. Other than that nice room tv was somewhat small . Foyer and breakfast room were exceptonally nice looks like they had been redecorated.

We had a great stay. We had a small problem with our tv, but the problem was taken care quickly. The rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and the staff were welcoming and very helpful.
