Where do I begin? Wayyyyy overpriced for the condition of the room. You would think for what you pay you would get more. Not so much. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Next time I think I'll stay at Magestic. I'm sure there's not a VCR in their rooms.

Location and room was great, BUT beware of the $160 resort fee that Is not included when booking your room online. We were notified of this fee at check-in. There were other guest checking in at the same time that were also being notified of this wonderful fee (sarcasm). The front desk staff were prepared for the onslaught of frustrated guest because […] they had all of the booking websites home pages printed out to show everyone the fine print. Just thought I would let everyone know. All in all a great hotel especially for a family vacation. Restaurant is a bit overpriced. My family & I truly enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Golf Resort. The front desk ladies were very polite & friendly. The check in & check out went smooth. The villas were very clean. We plan on staying here again in June for a week.

First room, trim was busted off around door. Door wouldn't even lock. Hadn't been updated in 20 years. Pizza left in decorative pot. They " upgraded" us to MC Hammers room. Additional fees upon arrival were $140 which was $85 cleaning fee, the rest was a nonrefundable damage fee. No reason to ever stay here again.

I thought that the resort was excellent. We stayed in one of the short towers with the ocean view. The room was okay...clean...decor was not that great. The room did not have that WOW effect. Upon arrival was given a unit in a mid rise that was under renovation complete with hammer drills. My family was very upset to learn that even though we'd planned carefully for our trip, (hotel price, location) hotels.com doesn't make it clear that there is a non-refundable $50 check in fee (?). When I asked the rude, catty clerk to explain this to me, why neither the hotel, the owners of the property or the website, hotels.com made it clear that […] this fee was due upon arrival and reminded me that my reservation was non-refunable and I didn't want to blow $700, and there being no other hotels within our price range on the beach, we were forced to comply. The beds were very uncomfortable. We all felt the springs. The rest of the room was great. The expected onsite pizza place was closed for the season but that's understandable. Each unit is indivudally owned so they vary greatly in what is included and the decor. Our guest bath toilet did not flush from the time we got there and I called for maintenence 3 separate times. Very frustrating.

We had a good time at the resort but the condo we were assigned needed some TLC. It was clean but the dryer didn't dry clothes it just got hot & the sliding glass door to patio was almost impossible to open. We notified the office several times but nothing was done about it. After I booked this room the receipt said to see the fees section for the amount of the damage insurance fee. The only fees section I could find was the fees and taxes section of my receipt. When I checked in I was told the fee was an additional $45. With the taxes and fees and this fee the extra charge on a two night weekend stay was $98.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. PROS: We actually arrived 2 hours before check-in time and our room was already ready! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view of the beach was wonderful! We stayed in Leeward, one of the shorter towers which we were pleased with because it was literally right on the beach and there was no pool blocking […] your view or noise from all the activity at the other towers. It was not within walking distance of Pier Park (the major shopping center) but it was only a short drive. One day we were so tired we just stayed at the resort and there was no need to leave because the Oceans restaurant there was good and the resort had free DVD rentals and Starbucks! The only CON: If you book from one of the mainstream travel websites there is a forty-five dollar non-refundable fee that was not exactly clear or not whether it was included in the booking price but it was not. So we had to pay that at check-in for insurance on any possible damages to the room. Read more

My family rented one of the deluxe suites and it was perfect... It was completely furnished all the way down to dishwashing detergent!! The view was beautiful, the furnishings were very modern and the hotel room was spacious in its entirety! The pools were soooo relaxing and the Laguna pool was just what my husband and I needed for a short but relaxing […] swim! The staff were very cordial and did not interrupt us at all. We had one issue with our dryer, however the maintenance worker was there within ten minutes to my call to the front desk and was very friendly! Location was great! Everything you need in PCB at your finger tips. Rooms were clean and large, balcony over pool, hot tub was great. Frre golf on the Hombre Course (a PGA Q course) 27 holes, free driving range, putting green. A real challenging course. Had a great time!
