Room was good - a great value for the price! Just a few minor complaints - TV remote didn't work; a little noisy late at night (Saturday night; we were next to the elevator). Beds: very comfortable. Pillows, not so much (overly firm). Bathroom small but clean, bath/shower good, water pressure and temperature fine. Nice pool, adequate gym. Convenient in/out parking, reduced price with hotel validation. Front desk staff: helpful and polite.

"Beautiful boutique hotel"
We stayed one night only and the hotel and staff were exceptional.HOWEVER, the dinner we had in the hotel restaurant was terrible - every course went from bad to worse!I would stay at St. Surplice again, but would definitely dine elsewhere.
"Visit to Montreal"
Would not hesitate to stay again. Parking rate a bit on the steep side.

"Le Saint Sulpice in Old Montreal"
Le Saint Sulpice is a beautiful and charming hotel right in the heart of Old Montreal. It is just a few steps away from Notre Dame Basilica and great shops and restaurants. I was in Montreal for work and it is only a 10-15 minute walk away from the financial district and the main shopping district. The service is great, including turn down service every […] night. "Great location, great service!"
This beautiful pet friendly hotel is a gem in old Montreal. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. There was a very reasonable pet fee of $50 for the entire stay and the location is excellent. The service was just right, - not over-bearing and not negligent. The only downside is that the in facility SPA is no longer inside the hotel; you have to […] go down to the corner to their partner SPA. Read more
"French hotel"
Wonderful French hotel in the heart of Old Town, Montreal. Walk to all the sights and enjoy the atmosphere. The people at the hotel helped us with resturant selections, directions, and other details and they were very nice. Really made my husband and my vacation special.

"Beautiful city, beautiful hotel!"
This hotel is seriously top notch, perfection. Beautiful decor, staff is lovely and helpful and the rooms are gorgeous! I highly recommend staying at this hotel. We were there for the Formula One race weekend and the location was 2 blocks from the metro. Perfect location. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

"St Sulpice: Terrific!"
On a wonderful cobblestone street right near Notre Dame basilica. Great restaurants within walking distance. Chinatown just a few minutes away. If you have kids, the science center is also within walking distance. Stayed here with my wife and 2 kids and the room was quite large with separate LR, 2 TVs, fridge and large bath. Service at the hotel was […] excellent and every recommendation made by staff was a winner. Read more
Great place to stay, very beautiful hotel and great size rooms, very family friendly. Staff were terrific and very helpfull with anything and everything. Only down side was that the restaurant was under construction and the limited room service was a bit on the pricey side.
"Le Saint Sulpice"
Great motel in the heart of the Old Port. A bit disappointed that the lobby was under construction without any advance notice. The smell was noxious. Internet was down for ~24 hours. ATM machine did not accommodate my bank’s network so obtaining cash was a challenge. Room was very clean and staff was very accommodating. Would go back again.
"Saint Sulpice-Old Montreal in the Winter"
We went to Saint Sulpice in Dec. the area was absolutely beautiful, old Montreal in winter felt a lot like Europe in the winter without the haul across the pond. The hotel was beautiful, from the moment you walk in right up to the room. A nice entrance opens up to the hotel, where a fire burned next to a fully decorated Christmas tree. Soft music added […] to the ambiance as snow fell on the decorated courtyard. As we entered our Superior Suite, tile floors led to the fully tiled bathroom and opened up to a rather large hotel room. A beautiful glass sink and plenty of glass counter tops adorned the bathroom. Plenty of mirrors gave the bathroom and its stand up shower the appearance of more room, even though the bathroom itself was fairly large. The stand up shower had a frosted glass wall, which was a nice touch aesthetically. Down the hall the room opens up to a sleeping area with a flat panel TV, beautiful bedding and a nice down comforter. The room continued to flow where the was a nice kitchenette, complete with tile, microwave, deep sink, fridge, and stove top. Then there was the seating area. A hide away couch with glass and wood coffee tables filled the living space that was situated watching a second flat panel TV and wood burning fire place. A small balcony with a step up was off the seating area. We were lucky enough to have a balcony that faced the courtyard, it was beautiful. There were small things that took away from the hotel being a 4 or even 5 star hotel. They were tiny in our eyes and easily overlooked. The couch had some small fraying on one of the cushions. Next to the fireplace there was a small (quarter size) black spot, I assume smoot from the fireplace. On one of the small tables there was a couple small scratches. Outside of that the room was all and more from what could be expected for the price and star rating. St. Sulpice sits in old Montreal just a couple blocks from the port and the Science Center at the port. There are lots of restaurants, Read more

A lovely up-scale experience. In the heart of old Montreal. Good recommendations from the staff: helpful and responsive. The only downside: overly expensive and limited breakfast / morning food options. We didn't eat in the hotel's restaurant.
"Fabulous Hotel"
Everything about this hotel is so perfect and terrific...we have the best stay in this hotel...from the staff to the housekeeping service....wonderful...definitely will stay again if we visit Montreal...
"St Sulpice"
Great hotel, great rates. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Location great for variety of activities. Concierge very helpful and friendly. Room quiet, even near elevator.
"superb stay in a wonderful town"
We stayed at the perfect hotel in one of the world's great cities. Montreal is just so vibrant and unique. Le Sainte-Sulpice is in the perfect location to experience this great city. "Perfect location, excellent staff"
The ideal location in Old Montreal, a block from the river and convenient to all sights. This is a boutique hotel, with elegant rooms, very quiet (especially given the pedestrian high-traffic area of Old Montreal). One should be aware that the advertised rooms have a variety of features not all of which coincide--ask about specifics. The staff are […] particularly to be recommended--young, energetic, perfectly bilingual, and very helpful. A great choice for a stayin Montreal for business or pleasure. Read more
"Visit in Montreal"
This hotel was nicely positioned by the Notre Dame Cathedral. It had good access to the Metro about 2-3 blocks away. The restaurants in old Montreal were very pricey and we walked more into Montreal to get some more reasonable prices. The hotel staff were very attentive and very friendly.
"almost perfect!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the St. Suplice. We arrived early (11 am) and our room wasn't ready. They sent us off with a lunch suggestion that was awesome and when we came back it still wasn't ready. At this point, they switched us to another room. I was a little concerned as the neighborhood is busy and the room was on the first floor, but the front […] desk encouraged me to go check it out and if I didn't like it, they would find something else. The room was great, and what little noise filtered in was blocked by a second door to the bedroom. Concierge service was excellent. Bed was super comfy (and I am very picky about this). The location of this hotel really can't be beat. We walked everywhere and it was wonderful. A couple of small things that kept this from being a perfect place to stay: the entry way/lobby has the STRONGEST smelling incense....really, gotta cut that back a bit. On our second day the maid forgot to give us a bath mat. I called for one, but it never came....not the end of the world, but still. Lastly, there was only shampoo and no conditioner in the rooms. Anyway, these were all really small things that only bothered me slightly, by far and away I would highly recommend this hotel. Great staff, great location, great rooms. Oh yeah and we had wifi in our room, which I was kinda concerned about having read past reviews. Read more

"Quiet and elegant oasis"
My stay at Le Saint Sulpice was excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated in the beautiful and historic Vieux-Port (Old Port) district of Montreal. The staff was extremely polite. They went out of their way to guarantee a great stay. For example, they quickly exchanged my 20 USD for 20 CAD to pay a cash-only taxi fare. The rooms are spacious, modern, […] comfortable, and clean. I wish I had been lucky enough to stay in one with a balcony. I would stay here again and I recommend this hotel to others. Read more

"A 4 star gem"
We traveled with our 18 and 21 year old children, so we needed 2 rooms. I found the St Suplice's suites to be as economical and MUCH more spacious than going to a hotel. Very upscale, very roomy. One point of note: there is no hotel fitness center, even though various sites say there is. There are 2 affiliated gyms nearby that are pretty weak in equipment. […] The locations is excellent, the hotel staff and particularly the concierges were to notch. An excellent value. Read more
"Le Saint Sulpice in Montreal"
Our hotel room was recently renovated and the hotel itself was beautifully located in Old Montreal, right next to the Basilica. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to stay here again.

"Old Montreal treat!"
Great location! Within walking distance to all of Old Montreal. Breakfast in hotel was expensive. Suites were very nicely decorated.
"About 3 years past it's prime"
We stayed at Le Saint Sulpice because of it's excellent location and the suite style rooms which I prefer. When we got to the hotel after check-in time we had to wait another 20 minutes before our room was ready. When we got into the room there was no Wifi as advertised as part of the services. We had to wait over 24 hours for the tech guy to come […] in and fix the wifi so we could use it. As I was working during the trip this was pretty inconvenient. The room itself was ok. The carpet was worn a bit and there were white flakes (cleaner maybe?) all over the living room area. We had maintenance come and vacuum up the flakes. They came right away. There was also some confusion on my part. I thought they had a gym at the hotel and they don't. They have a relationship with a nearby personal trainer but he was closed. They did arrange for me to workout at a nearby hotel which I appreciated. After we got settled they offered us a bottle of wine for all the issues but honestly I wanted some money off the room. Not having wifi for over a day really but a bump in our schedule and we had to come back from our day to make sure the guy was there to fix it. We ate dinner our first night there in the hotel's patio dining area. The space itself is pretty and enjoyable. The food was passable, I was under the impression that the cook is a recent graduate of culinary school and it showed. The menu was well designed but the execution was just ok. The piece de resistance was when we were picking up our car from 3 days of valet parking and it was returned with a decent dent on the side of it. We were delayed nearly an hour from our departure while we dealt with paperwork. The hotel concierge said he'd review the video of the garage and get back to us within 48 hours. He called 4 days later to say he'd review them shortly and we haven't heard anything since. So a so/so room, so/so restaurant, slow staff, worn carpeting and a dented car. I don't think we'll be staying here again. Read more
"Will definitely be back - great hotel."
Good service, beautiful hotel; the suite was clean, well appointed and luxurious. My daughter and I were comfortable, given we had a queen bed and a queen fold out. The staff was very helpful and the location in old Montreal was central to everything we wanted.
