Quality of the service is what stands out here. The staff, all of them, are very good, caring and try very hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Only minor negative is that the breakfast could have been fresher; seems like it had been under the heat lights a little too long. Overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 - I would stay again.

We found this online and booked early. It was the weekend and there were no businessmen, but this property was just 4 miles from Stonehenge which we saw after a busy day of sightseeing. Free Parking, A nice clean, large, executive room with King bed. We were just above the bar/lobby where there is free interent, and we enjoyed it in our room instead of going downstairs.This site is next to the highway with a gas station/mini-market, KFC, and restaurant. This makes for lots of dinner and breakfast choices. We would easily return.

It is a very attractive place... clean, nice bar and restaurant. The service was very good. It was a little hard to find, so make sure you have good instructions for getting there.

An interesting hotel, a bit outdated, conveniently located in the business parc. However, no shops or whatsoever in the neighbourhood. The parc is gorgeous.

Lovely country house hotel just a short distance from the M27 and Southampton. I knew Chilworth Manor was a nice place from attending lots of conferences there, but staying is much better. An hotel where the lounge is really used - they had a real fire burning. An older property but with good modern facilities - even free WiFi. The staff were friendly […] and helpful, and it is only 10 minutes to the centre of Southampton - traffic permitting!! The grounds are wonderful. It must look quite something when all the rhododendrons are in flower, even in the winter it is a nice drive into the hotel. To walk around and sit out on a warm summer evening would be special. We have just stayed at thsi hotel for the second time and it wasas excellent as the first time last year. As a business traveller, i didnt get a chance to sample any of the hotel facilities, so no comment on those. The room condition however was poor. It was tolerable, but not great. Hotel staff seemed indifferent rather than friendly or helpful. I would only recommend this one if you wish to use the spa/fitness facilities, find the location convevient, […] and really really want to stay in a 'manor house'. If u want a modern comfortable room and a warm welcome, go elsewhere. Read more

Lovely position, nice grounds, convenient to Southampton including the docks. Beds could be more comfortable and as always in hotels pillows thin and not enough of them. "Chilworth Manor"
Stay for one night on business. Room was okay, quiet but tired - double bed would be tight for a couple sharing. Restaurant food was pretty good but a tad expensive. Lovely grounds and surroundings and the lounge / bar area with its minstrel gallery is a nice place to relax. Didn't try out the health club.

The Hotel is in a wonderful location. My stay was very pleasant. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. The food was great at a reasonable price. The facilities are first class and the gardens are beautiful. I will certainly go back there.

Would recommend for short-time stay. Twin Bed far too little for two. Sheets and towels for one in 2-person room. Surroundings great, breakfast good but very expensive.
