The Cathedral Hotel is centrally located and the staff were marvelous. Our family enjoyed our visit to the town and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. There is no parking, which can't be helped because of the location, but they gave clear instructions on town lots not too far away. We had a good dinner and full breakfast at the hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

Immaculate, most charming, a long way to go from London but well worth it. We would stay there again, it is a total wounderful surprice. I would recomment it to all my friends.Love it!!!

I only stayed at Wisteria for one night, I was doing a short trip to Stonehenge, so I wasn't there very long, but I really like the accommodation. It is a little outside of town, but it is actually pretty easily accessible by bus, the 7x, which I did not realize when I came in so I took a cab. Do your homework beforehand. I had a single room, and it was a nice size and good shower/facilities. There is no TV in the room, but there was a nice lounge area with a TV, games, tea kettle, et al. Felicity made the stay very easy and I can't say enough about her: I left my phone in my room and had a very short period of time before I was going to be leaving London. She worked with me by phone and email to overnight the phone to my London hotel before I left the UK. Highly recommend!

Spent three nights here and was very comfortable. Charming house with great garden. The hosts were very friendly and everything was spotless. Breakfast was in true English style in the elegant dining room. I recommend the eggs with smoked salmon.

Lovely country house hotel just a short distance from the M27 and Southampton. I knew Chilworth Manor was a nice place from attending lots of conferences there, but staying is much better. An hotel where the lounge is really used - they had a real fire burning. An older property but with good modern facilities - even free WiFi. The staff were friendly […] and helpful, and it is only 10 minutes to the centre of Southampton - traffic permitting!! The grounds are wonderful. It must look quite something when all the rhododendrons are in flower, even in the winter it is a nice drive into the hotel. To walk around and sit out on a warm summer evening would be special. Recently had a one day break at the Chilworth Manor. Had room service for evening meal. Brought to me by a lovely girl. The meal was delicious. Staff helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

As a business traveller, i didnt get a chance to sample any of the hotel facilities, so no comment on those. The room condition however was poor. It was tolerable, but not great. Hotel staff seemed indifferent rather than friendly or helpful. I would only recommend this one if you wish to use the spa/fitness facilities, find the location convevient, […] and really really want to stay in a 'manor house'. This hotel is suitable for business conferences but not for private visitors. The restaurant is not inviting, and has the smell of a canteen. However, staff are polite and efficient. The whole floor plan, environment and decor requires a re-think. The stay was bearable for the special rate we paid.

Stay for one night on business. Room was okay, quiet but tired - double bed would be tight for a couple sharing. Restaurant food was pretty good but a tad expensive. Lovely grounds and surroundings and the lounge / bar area with its minstrel gallery is a nice place to relax. Didn't try out the health club.

The Hotel is in a wonderful location. My stay was very pleasant. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. The food was great at a reasonable price. The facilities are first class and the gardens are beautiful. I will certainly go back there.
