We had a beautiful room, unfortunately not quite what I was expecting. The in suite jacuzzi turned out to be a small jetted tub in the bathroom. Other than that, the resort was beautiful.

Room was so small (Fold out couch/bed and king size bed) that when the couch was folded out into a bed, there was NO room for any luggage and barely a walk way. I suspect that we were in the "bonus" room of a timeshare suite (as it had the letter "B" after our room number) and that is why it was so small. Disappointed because this was not detailed as such in the listing for the room description at booking. The layout of the hotel is very poor. To get the "Elk Lodge" tower of rooms, we had to got up to a certain floor of the "Bear Lodge" from the lobby, then walk down a hallway and take that elevator. There was NO easy way to get around this place, which is hard with a 2 year old. Upon check in, I was given an information card, with an incorrect reservation number (prevented me from getting onto wireless) and when I alerted staff of this it was "no big deal." Good thing I am honest, I could have charged to another room at the resort with this information. Lastly, when I wanted to extend my stay by one night front desk told me they didn't do that. I had to call front desk from my room and ask to be transferred to "Reservations." Reservations then told me to call the front desk....I finally got help when I complained that I was being shuffled from one person to another. At this point, I decided that it wasn't worth it and actually cut my trip short. Walls were paper thin. I could hear my neighbors toilet flush everytime and "living room" area was hot the entire night

Not a very nice one. I arrived Sunday afternoon and the restaurant. market, and bar were closed. Internet was down for hours. Asked to get a ride on the shuttle to a downtown so that I could have dinner, but I was told to wait for 30 minutes. I decided to drive instead of waiting. Staff very nice, but hotel is poorly managed, in my view. Wednesday night a group of teenagers in my floor decided to do track and field in my floor around 10 PM. It was also fun for them to bang on my door and run away giggling. I had to call security. Again, a poorly managed hotel.

I travel a lot for work so I spend a lot of time in hotels and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. After informing me that my room was ready at 3:30pm, they had a network problem and couldn't look up the room number I was assigned to. They told me they would call me as soon as they had things figured out. I left the hotel (with all my luggage) and sat at The Canyons patio area. At 5:00pm (no phone call) I returned to the lobby where they finally gave me the keys to a room (they said they upgraded me to a one bedroom suite, which is what I had reserved in the first place). When I entered the room it looked like guests were still staying there. There was garbage, dirty dishes, and all the bedding was a mess. I hauled all of my luggage back to the lobby expecting that they would put me into a different room. However, they just told me they would try to get the room clean as soon as possible and I went back to sitting in the lobby. About 30 minutes later I went back up to my room where I found the cleaning crew still working. I ended up just sitting on the balcony until they were finished. By the time the room was clean and I could finally relax, it was past 7:00pm. After experiencing these sorts of problems, one would expect some sort of accommodations from the hotel to show they are truly sorry. I got nothing, just a simple sorry from the cleaning crew. I will not be staying at this resort again.

Cons: 10 am checkout, It was listed in the hotel description but I did not catch it, my bad. I go on vacation to relax and a check out time before 11 or 12 is odd to me. They told me to call and they can "usually"extend the time but they made it 10:30 ha ha. Pitch you on their timeshare when you check in (even though you are paying for the room), this burns the first 30-60 minutes of your visit and you know how those salesman are... a pain. Pros: Comfy room, good restaurants, cool environment.

The room I had was a villa, and quite nice. The hotel/time share facility had a layout that was very chopped up, with restaurants being tucked away at the end of hallways on floors I could not even access from my floor. But, the restaurants were very nice, and the food excellent. Check out is at 10 am, which is ridiculous, given that check in is after 4 pm. Valet parking was free, and the Bell Attendants were very quick and courteous. The property had many amenities. It was also close to Park City. For the price, it was a very good find.

If you want to hike or take the Gondola up the mountain, you can't beat the location. Since all of Park City is pretty close, you can easily drive or be shuttled back and forth from hotel to Olympic Park and Main Street. The adults only pool, sauna, hot tub, and steam room were divine. My brother and I steamed out all of our sore muscles after our hike, and slept like the dead afterwards. Woke up refreshed and ready to go again!

Room super tiny. Coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. Room not ready until 5 and I had to approach them ( they said they'd call to let me know when it was ready). Pool was full of families, which is great but the 18 & over pool was inside (boo!) The layout of this place is like being trapped inside a haunted house, but, none of the fun. I just don't get this place. Won't go back.

Room was clean and staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. We had a great stay which included fireworks at The Canyons with friends. To put this in perspective... Five star service on a day of mad activity on what would be called "the off season" at a (primarily ski) resort. One note: keep your map of the resort as it is quite large and there are "tricks" to get around.

They switched our room at check-in because ours wasn't ready at 4pm. The new room was still being cleaned when we got to it. The floor was sopping wet when they turned the room over to us. When we wiped up the water, the towel was filthy. Several custodial people tried to get into our room while we were relaxing in there. We were not informed of the huge firework show the night we were there. Valet took 30 minutes to retrieve our car.

Would I stay here again? Probably. The front desk girl was gonna charge my card again even though it was previously paid to Expedia. The staff were super nice. Convenient pools and underground parking. Bed and pull out bed could use improvement on comfort. Very good getaway though.

The mattress was painful, the a/c was so loud it woke us up every time it came on. The toilet quit flushing at about 1 am. The parking was very, very far from room access. The staff was not helpful nor extremely pleasant. The room was the size of a walk in closet. We have stayed in Park City many times, we will never stay here again.

Booked a Luxury Suite and it was the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen in the US!! The king bed completely filled the Bedroom and the kitchenette was miniscule too so using the sofa bed completely filled that room too. In addition our room was very noisy but the staff refused to let us change rooms.

Room was clean and nice. Smaller than it looked in pictures. Parking was crazy confusing as was trying to find my way around the different areas of the hotel: Moose, Bear, Elk.... I got lost a few times. If you're driving anything other than a tiny car, do not park in the Moose "preferred parking."

This was a nice hotel, a little hard to navigate to the rooms. my room was pretty small and the pull out couch was less than comfortable. but overall the room was very nice. a few things could have been a little cleaner in it, but for the most part it was very nice. It was loaded with everything you needed to cook and have a good night rest.

The suite we had was very nice. Appreciated having the small stocked kitchen. The steam shower/rain shower was lovely. Robes and slippers were nice details. The indoor/outdoor pool was great; the kids loved the water. Our only complaint was that the amenities are located all over the campus and are confusingly located. Getting between buildings was equally confusing and getting back to the parking garage was ridiculous. The staff graciously tried to explain the maps but spoke so fast, it was difficult to follow along. Would we stay there again? Probably. It was a nice room at a good price.

Stayed in the 1 bedroom Signature Villa. The room was wonderful and so was the jacuzzi tub. Based on what I saw of the "Luxury" Villa and Suite, the Signature Villa is much much nicer. These are the rooms inside the Bear Lodge. (I think the Moose lodge has the older rooms).

I frequent the hotel to get away often. I live in Salt Lake. I have never snd will never go to another resort. The Westgate is absolutely our favorite. Everything for me, my husband and my daughter. It is absolutely awesome.

We got to the front desk & had to wait 20-25 minutes for someone to finally get to us....and there were 3 people at the front desk & only 1 other couple checking in in front of us. We checked in...he sent us to another desk to get directions to our room....and then send us to ANOTHER desk for who knows what. Does it really take 3 desks to check in?? We liked to have NEVER found our way to the room. We had to go through the garage & one of our keys didn't open the garage gate, but we finally made it in. After going through a maze we finally made it to our room.....only to find out that neither of our keys worked. Oh. We FINALLY found someone to call the front desk to tell them we couldn't get in our room. About 10 minutes later in a hot, stuffy hallway, a guy finally showed up and opened our room with new keys they made. The most infuriating part of the whole thing is that the guy waited around waiting for a tip. So we got inside our postage stamp sized room. It was absolutely claustrophobic. The air conditioner worked in the master bedroom but didn't go all the way to the main room where our daughter was going to try to sleep. Once you let down the couch into a bed, you had very little room left on all 3 sides. We had no where to put our luggage. We laid down for a nap and about 30 minutes into our nap the ceiling fan quit working. I could go on but I've run out of my 1500 words.

The service from the whole staff - from check-in, engineering, the restaurant, pool attendants et all, was amazing. Worthy of the highest rating possible. The location is excellent, a shuttle was provided to town and parking was no extra fee. The room was clean and in excellent condition. The pool is fabulous for families. While it contained everything described, it was a bit cramped for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. However, a great deal for the price and we will go back.

My wife and I needed a short getaway from our busy lifestyle. We LOVE the outdoors and the lush greenery and fresh air surrounding the area were perfect! The room was spacious yet cozy, and fairly priced. We eat our own 'healthy' food about half the time so the kitchenette was a must. Close to a wide selection of restaurants, we enjoyed a more authentic curry than most at Park City Chinese and Thai. Also heard good things about the restaurants in the lodge but didn't try as we did not feel like steak or burgers at the time. We hiked for about five miles on the trails behind the lodge and didn't even 'scratch the surface' of the trails available. Broad strokes of aspens and pines on mountain backdrop, BEAUTIFUL!!! In short, a one night stay left us RECHARGED!!! And to think we almost spent the night in SLC to save twenty bucks!!!

From advertised pictures and being a "swanky" Park City hotel, I figured we were going to be well taken care in a nice room. Our room was by far the smallest hotel room we had EVER seen!!!! There was literally no space to it. The wifi did not work, our air conditioning didn't work, the maintenance guy was super weird, but above all was not at all like described or pictured. We quickly complained and was upgraded to a bigger room which seemed awesome aside the lack of wifi (again) being told we needed to do the calling to Tech Support, and the haunted jacuzzi. Our jacuzzi randomly came on at various times which was a bit weird... Especially at 2 am. The restaurant was horribly overpriced and the servings were a joke. We've eaten at 4 and 5 star restaurants before and gotten more for our money and for better tasting food.

Our stay here was not the worst. I know that's a bad way to start a review, but that sums it up. The staff were incredibly helpful and very nice. Although, they tried to sell us on a deal to stay at the hotel again, before we'd had a chance to see if we even liked the place. That was kind of annoying. We got to the hotel a half hour early and our room was not ready yet, which was fine. They said they would call us when the room was ready. We went up to the hotel Pub (Drafts) and got a drink while we waited. We waited another 1 1/2 hours before we just called the front desk and asked if our room was ready. They said it was, but didn't call us to let us know. That was annoying. We got to the room and it was really cramped. Getting around the foot of the bed was pretty annoying and the kitchenette/living room was kind of a turn-off. The best part about this resort is the restaurants. Edge steakhouse and Drafts pub are awesome restaurants. I will go back to those, but I don't think I'll be staying at this hotel again.

We stayed in one of the newly remodeled 2 bed villa's. It was BEAUTIFUL! One little warning... They treat you like royalty, until you tell them you are NOT interested in a timeshare. Then you are pretty much ignored the rest of your stay. Luckily, I wanted to be left alone (it is a vacation after all)

Overall, average. Big disappointment when I was told they did not have tennis rackets to use at the court. They will not be available until end of April. Really? How much space does it take to carry few rackets and balls? Even if you're traveling by 2, do not get a unit with #....B, extremely small. #...A, you get a normal living space with full kitchen. B units is for college students. You'll definitely regret it. We had 2 units together, AB which was comfortable for 4 adults and one 4yr old. Shuttle svs were exceptional. Took you anywhere, avail within 10 min always. Didn't use the park city bus even it was free, it would be a hike to get to the stop.

This place has great location and great amenities. The staff is not helpful, have no idea what's going on in their hotel and sent us looking for a restaurant that wouldn't even be open that day, in the hotel. There is nowhere to get dinner after 9pm and nowhere to eat before 11am. If you want to pay the prices then go to another high end resort/spa and get what you are paying for, service, which this place did not provide at all. If not, you should stay in a budget hotel and save the money. I will not be staying here again on my park city visits

The hotel is beautiful for sure but it is so big that everywhere you go is a LONG walk! The first room we had 'luxury suite with kithenette' is very nice but so SMALL it was almost suffocating. It actually felt like 1/2 a room and had literally no storage. We ended up moving to the next size up which was absolutely beautiful and spacious! To have to stay in that small room would have ruined my vacation.

I could not even tell you how much I enjoyed our stay. Every expectation I had was not only met but surpassed. The room was amazing, it was clean and so warm and inviting. The staff was so kind and willing to do there best to ensure a great stay. The view was breathtaking and so quiet. I will definitely stay again.

The rooms were very well appointed with modern amenities, including jet tub and steam shower and fully equipped kitchens, fireplace and patio. The resort is large so a little difficult to get around. The ski valets were a nice convenience. The complimentary shuttle drivers were very well informed, helpful, and punctual. The on site restaurants were very good but closed too early and there was no room service. Since it's so far to town, I would really reconsider staying in a resort of this size again without more food service.

The staff is very professional however the room is too small. The STUDIO STANDARD VILLA features a Kitchenette, however there is no table to sit to eat or to prepare the food. If you really want to use the kitchenette be prepared to eat in the sofa, which we as a family do not enjoy.

The Westgate is in a great location, right at the base of the Canyons ski area & the lobby is impressive, but those are the only positive aspects of this hotel. The room was cut up in a weird layout with a tiny bedroom that reminded us of a NYC hotel room. There was a dirty sock on the coffee table when we arrived in our room and on our second day there the housekeeper took the garbage bags out of the can but left them laying on the ground in our room. We ate dinner at the bar onsite, Drafts, and agreed that we've had better frozen pizzas. We will not be staying there again.

We booked the signature suite for 3 people. The room was not laid out well at all and when the couch was pulled out you could not even open the door to the room. Because we booked through expedia the management was very reluctant to help us out. After a while they were able to get us in a different room. The room should not be advertised as a room for 4 guests as it would be tighter than a regular hotel room.

It was expensive due to the Film Festival going on, and it indicated it was Ski in-Ski out. It was walk inside the hotel with boots on for 50 yards, then walk outside for 100+, The cleaning staff hadn't cleaned the room by 6pm while we were there, then kept knocking starting at 830 on the day of departurre. The hotel itself is layed out poorly, requiring numerous trips in the elevator to get to the ski shop, or dining, or the market, but most of the time only 1/2 the elevators were available, so there were long waits. The food available for breakfast was substandard and not very creative, not even an omelet was available, and there are guys floating everywhere chatting you up to see if you'd like to be sold a time share in a hotel I probably will try to find improvement on the next time I come.

The ski lifts are actually a short walk outside, and our Ski Valet Service is glad to have your skis waiting for you at the gondola and will take them back to the resort at the end of the day. We offer many different unit types to fit most everyone's budget and situation. Most of our units include fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas, washer/dryer and a fireplace. Our apologies if you felt the unit was too cramped. Due to the mountainous terrain that our resort is located on, there are varying building heights that require our guest to use elevators to get to. We supply our guests with maps and signage is located throughout the resort to assist you. Our high quality breakfast options include eggs, applewood bacon, ham, sausage, breakfast tots, pancakes, french toast, biscuits & gravy, lox & bagel, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and more. Most of our guests enjoy our breakfast offerings. Our apologies that omelettes were not on this list. We are a timeshare resort, and we give each guest an opportunity to learn more about the many benefits and advantages of vacation ownership at our resort.
