The hotel is conveniently located close to the downtown Toronto airport. I think if the weather had been nicer and we didn't have as much luggage, it would have been possible to walk from the airport to the hotel (how often can one say that!) There is alot of construction outside the hotel, so it was tough to find it by car and it was also hard getting a cab later that day. Patience is necessary. The hotel staff was cold and brusque, not accommodating at all. They refused a one-hour late checkout. Also, we asked for a double room, but was given a king because there were no more doubles available. Though the room was an upgrade to a corner "suite," it was still inconvenient. The room itself was lovely. Huge bathroom, clean, comfortable, spacious. We would go back there again, particularly when the weather is nicer and we can explore the harborfront area (there is a shopping mall down the street that looked really nice with restaurants and a supermarket).

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Discreet service. Premises seem well maintained. Parking lot felt a little crowded, though - perhaps it should be a bit bigger given the size of the hotel.

I was welcomed and attended to, with a bright smile at the front desk. My room had a great layout. It was very clean, neat and professionally taken care of. The restaurant and bar located within the hotel provided great service and they were very comfortable. I look forward to staying again when I visit Toronto again.

I was greeted by a young kid behind the desk upon entrance that made a rude comment, that he thought would be funny, but wasnt. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Great location about 30 minutes from downtown Toronto; 90 minutes from Nigara Falls. Shops and resturants are within reach. Free continental breakfast was good. Wirless network was slow but they provided a cable to connect directly and it worked great.

Fine location, if you have a car (free parking) - 20-25mins to downtown. Very good quality of the room and the hotel. Staff wasn't too pleasing, but still okay. And the fountain with a circle is reminding of Monaco :) Keep away from their restaurant, so awful food I never tried.

Stayed at this hotel at the suggestion of a peer for training with my new company. The hotel is acceptable, with a fridge and a microwave, however, the bed is threadbare and somewhat uncomfortable. The "Free Breakfast" consists of bagels and croissants and a very small bowl of cereal, with milk, watery OJ and Apple Juice. Anything else costs $3 extra. […] A Tim Horton's a block away is a much better choice for breakfast. The television gets only SD channels and when it starts up, it starts up on channel 86, which is snow. The "excercise room" consists of a treadmill and a Bowflex in the bowels of the building with no air conditioning. The room is sweltering, smells of sweat and the treadmill has seen better days... Dont try to run on it, it will kill you! The restaurant is "Italian" operated and staffed by very taciturn Chinese. The hotel is near a very busy general aviation airport with a very active pilot training school. Lots of noisy planes at all hours of the day. The staff had no stamps for my postcards and "the mailman stops every once in a while" I was told! This hotel seems to cater to Asian tastes, westerners will find the service standoffish and cold and the facilities stark. Read more

Like the hotel and area. Plenty of shopping and local restaurants. And if we had thought ahead, having the microwave in the room was a great idea. The only thing was the breakfast, while it was included in the hotel package, there was too much bread/wheat - bagels, bread, muffins, croissants, etc, and very little other options for breakfast. I've seen more kick from my grandma than so-called Orange juice (really TRIPLE-WATERED-DOWN TANG) and they dare to charge more for an "upgrade" breakfast - egg & microwaved fries. I had a refrigerator, but it literally sounded like a washing […] machine in a dying second, I had no choice to turn it off for the night's sleep. Hard choice between my delicious food & sleep, but I choose the latter... I would have rated it all 4's, except the walls are very thin and the I had one neighbor playing some instrument until I called the front desk (they did handle it in 5 minutes tops). The other neighbors were talking so loud I could hear every word. So, if you are a light sleeper, it can be a bit of a challenge. Also, the "free breakfast" coupon was […] a bit misleading. There is a free continental breakfast, but the coupon and the sign out side leads you to believe you can also get the free basic eggs, meat, and potatoes with the coupon. Very romantic room with jetted tub. Hotel room service was a bit iffy...language barrier on the phone, but it worked out. Would definitely stay here again. My boyfriend and I came out to Toronto for a romantic getaway and we definitely got it.

One of the reasons why I picked this hotel over all the others is because of the location. I wanted a hotel that was away from the downtown area and also close to the zoo. I liked how I did not have to pay for parking and also that breakfast was included. My room was clean and the air conditioning in it was delightful. There was two free internet computers […] in the lobby and I used them a lot. In my room there was a microwave and a fridge, but I did not use either. It was nice to know they were there though. I am a regular at the Monte Carlo Inn in Markham. It is a very nice little hotel that fits the discerning budget without appearing cheap. The staff is absoutely incredible. They always make me feel like a traveling dignitary. They have just recently upgraded the workout facilities with new equipment. Not New York Sports Club quality but very nice and […] useful. No pool, "fitness" facility was 4 old machines and one was broke! The vending machine was broke all 3 days, the "hot" breakfast buffet wasn't unless you count a toaster as hot. Room was nice & clean though.

I was so delighted when we arrived .The Inn are so clean and roomy and the front desk staff check us in fast and the rest of the staff are so polite and friendly.
