"Excellent Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
The hotel is well-located. Though it is an old building, and it could use some renovation.
"Great small hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Great small hotel, well...let me take that back: the room is actually a small one room apartment, so is quite big, compared to a regular hotel room. The area is perfect with great restaurants and places to go at a walking distance, very safe too. I wanted a happening place with city noise, it was perfect for me, but if you need a silent place that does not wake the kids up at night don’t go there (I mean the neighborhood or Mexico city for that matters, not the hotel)
"amazing architecture; right on the Zocalo."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
This century-plus aged hotel is stunningly beautiful inside. Look in even if you don't stay here. My suite was large and well appointed, but the AC didn't really cool the room and the bed was very squeaky. In short, it looked great but functioned a little less well. That said, I will stay here again on my next trip.

"Hotel Bristol - close to Paseo de la Reforma"
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City´s main avenue. The neighbourhood may be a bit noisy during daytime, but very quiet at night. An adjacent self parking with direct access to the hotel is also a plus. We stayed in double room which was quite spacious for two persons. Beds are comfortable; there […] is a small sitting area suitable for a meal or work. Bathroom with shower was spotless and of good size as well. TV set is a bit outdated, but I am not a big TV fan, so I don´t mind. We also enjoyed a delicios buffet breakfast which one can have inside or at the open air terrace. This was not our first stay at the hotel and we chose to stay there every time we go to Mexico City. The service is consistenntly good, the staff is friendly, the premises are rather well kept and the price is just right. Read more
"Bristol Hotel Mexico City"
This hotel had great service in a nice location and very convenient to the American Embassy. It is economical but I would recommend they replace the beds. They were extremely hard and small. My husband had a cup of coffee and it cost more than Starbucks.

"Hotel Bristol"
The location is not the best--about 3 blocks to the bus stop on Reforma, 6 blocks to the subway, and nothing much in the immediate vicinity--but it has a nice restaurant (with bar), and especially, in my case, a good center with internet, computer, and printing facilities.
"Great Value, Location"
I stayed at this hotel because it was a few blocks from where my friends lived. It turned out to be an excellent value for the price paid and it was located in a nice, relatively quiet residential neighborhood - but still close enough to businesses and restaurants. The service was good and most employees spoke English. The restaurant food (breakfast […] is what I had each day) and service was excellent and well-priced. The only complaint I have is that the bed was pretty firm. That might be a problem if you like a softer mattress. Other than that I was completely satisfied with my stay at the Bristol. Read more
"More than sufficient"
If you're looking for somewhere really fancy then you're going to be disappointed, but this is a good all round hotel. The price would make it seem more basic than it is, it's cheap in price but the quality is good. Breakfast in the attached restaurant is very good, and reasonably priced. Location is pretty central, only a short walk to shops and restaurants. […] Free internet throughout the hotel is really good, much appreciated. Overall recommended if you're on a budget, you won't be disappointed. Read more
