This hotel definitely surprised my husband and myself, we really didn't expect how good our stay at this hotel would be. It made our first trip with our daughter even better. Would stay at this hotel again when I re-visit Tampa in a couple of months.

My wife and I stayed in Tampa over the weekend. We booked @ the SpringHill Suites by Marriott for one night. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations! Reading prior reviews I understood the hotel was not located in the best of neighborhoods. Yeah, there were some run down bldgs nearby but not as bad as we had pictued (in our heads). The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway, close enough so one can jump right on and off and far enough so as not to hear the traffic buzz at night. There are TONS of eating places within a one to two mile radius. Seriously, you can find almost every cuisine represented within the area. The hotel itself was very clean. 'New' looking, comfortable and secure. Our room was a standard double, but with it came little kitchen area, office desk, separate TV watching area and FREE Internet access. Really, the room was much more than I could've hoped for. Moreover, the price was fanatastic! My wife and I have done some extensive traveling over the last two years and we've spent in the low 100s for lesser accommodating rooms. If in Tampa we will stay here again. If the hotel is anywhere near your travel/work spot you should too!!

This is one of the nicest hotels in which I have ever stayed. from the reception area to the rooms, Marriott can be proud of this facility. Ashley was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who needs to go in and out of Tampa airport.

The room is very comforting, one thing we didnt expect was the 42-inch flat screen TV. The continental breakfast is good.. Cleanliness of the room was impeccable.. The hotel is very close to the airport, was very easy to take the early morning flight. Overall, we loved our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone..

I was there for class and was pleased with my experience with the establishment. There were only two strip clubs on the street, which for Tampa is a good neighborhood.

The location was great.Everything was 15 minutes away or so.The strip had great restaurants justone to many stripclubs in the area that seems to be the only entertainment in that location

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days. The pool area was very nice and clean The pool maintance person was out there every morning cleaning it! The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was very clean with a variety of items. We had a great time and would come back again!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We got a suite for the same price as a regular room at other area motels. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet is great (a real money saver).

This hotel has a bit of old charm. Real wood in the rooms, elevators. Very clean with nice beds. Bathroom is a bit small if that's a concern. Nice staff and ideal location to beaches, Tampa attractions etc..

The hotel was great and I would stay again. My only 2 problems was that the toilet got stopped up and the sofa beds were not great to sleep in. Everything else was AWESOME!

Very nice accomodations. Definitely a newer well maintained hotel. The staff was friendly and personable. My room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was a little crammed for the amount of people there. However, a nice stay that I would suggest to everyone.

The front disk staff did a very good job with no hustles and no delays. i asked for assistance twice to an evening and morning attendant. I need an immediate copies for my docoments even if they were busy they did it right away it was very much appreciated.The rooms were very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good.

We were so pleased with the room! The suite was roomy and had plenty of comfortable seating. The little kitchenette was cute and helpful. I'm a "cleanie", and was happy to find the room thoroughly clean. The beds are even triple-sheeted, with lots of pillows. We'll definitely stay here again if we're ever in Tampa!

I received great customer service while at this hotel, at check in they were very polite and had the crib that I had asked for delivered to the room. Our second evening there I needed two bowls at 9pm for my kids to have a late night bowl of cereal and they went out of their way to find them for me. When we checked out I asked for directions to the Lowry Park Zoo and they had directions already printed out to give to guests, very nice!

The hotel is near everything including the International Plaza and Westshore Mall. It was very comfortable and the room was large enough so that you did not feel like a sardine.

The hotel was everything it advertised with the exception of its high speed internet access. When we could get on the net it was slower than dial-up and we were told that "Verizon had been working on it" All in all this hotel was friendly and had personable staff but it is geared more towards the business traveler rather than families on vacation.
