"Bueno, pero caro para lo que ofrece"
Su nivel es regular, limpio, los empleados no se esmeran en la atención, de hecho procuran mostrarse al margen, aunque no son groseros, digamos que hacen "lo mínico indispensable">Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel, Great location"
11/18/14 Rob B Odenthal, Germany
I stayed one night. It was a nice hotel and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The shuttle to/from the airport was convenient; even at 4:00AM. The hotel is in walking distance of numerous good restaurants like Logan's Steakhouse and Tony Roma's. When in McAllen, I would gladly stay here.
My belief in Honesty has been challenged in this entire area, with this hotel being the final straw. I booked at a discounted rate, was not given the rate sheet at check in, asked at a later date for confirmation of rate (couldn't confirm a number and didn't get back to me) and had trouble getting me numbers at checkout. GET EVERYTHiNG in writing upfront and hopefully save some of the disappointment. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

This was an average stay the hotel was not at its best. Still had the issue of speaking spanish first instead of english. Room was comfy but not 100% clean. Common areas needed some attention but real bad (average stay, average service)
"Nice hotel - I will come back !"

Nice service in restaurant and at the lobby. Large suites with 2 televisions and air conditioning not noisy at all. Free drinks every evening from 5.30 to 7.30pm is great. The overall look is vintage but clearly worth it. I did had a chance to experience the pool. The hotel provides a free shuttle to go in the town centre or the airport, very useful ! Only remark is the wifi (free) which is fine in the living room but not stable in the bedroom.

We stayed for 6 nights and the people who works there are very friendly and helpful. Bed are conftable and the van service is great. People working there make you feel like home from the reception to everyone who you see in it.
"Decent Marriott but lacking a couple of standard touches"
There is nothing exception about this Marriott, it's what you'd expect from a Fairfield Inn. I have to say being next door to Tony Roma's is convenient. My only gripes, and both of which can be easily addressed are, 1) this hotel lacks the pre-made fresh oatmeal that regular patrons come to expect at Marriotts. If you don't like it, you're not missing anything here. I don't do packet oatmeal and oatmeal at a Marriott it's a staple for me because it's a healthy alternative, so I miss it. 2) although the fitness center is adequately equipped with free weights, an elliptical, and two standard treadmills, don't count on the TVs working on either treadmill (as of 1/28/2014). This can be easily addressed but if your exercise routine is important and you get bored on treadmills, call ahead to see if they are fixed or not, otherwise, try the Courtyard next door. The elliptical TV audio works but only in one ear. Oh well, you can't expect everything to be perfect, or should you?!?!
"My Easter trip"

We arrived late on 28 Mar 2013 to McAllen, Texas. We booked three rooms and were happy they were all on the first floor. Upon entering the gentlemen greeted in in spanish my sons and their wives looked at me, dad did we get lost and go across the border. At that time the gentlemen adjusted his greeting to english. I speak four languages so it was not a problem for me but then I thought my kids were right we were still in the United States, our language is still English. The rooms were warm and inviting but what I found as I started sneezing is a lot of high dust. everything hanging on the walls (artwork/mirrors) in the bedroom and bathroom had high dust. The room was comfortable and I slept like a baby. I woke the next morning and had breakfast with one of my daughter-in-law. Peak time for breakfast their was not enough seats for the area I counted 27 people in the breakfast area the 45 minutes before it closed. Breakfast bar okay nothing brag about if you were hungry it met your need. The morning crew had a difficult time adjusting to speaking english as the lobby was full. I just have heartburn when your still in the United States and your not greeted in your countries language. Other amenities: the pool was clean and nice, the fitness room machines were clean and are spacious. My business (Xtreme Hospitality Inspections) I am in the hotel business!
"A Bit Worn but a Good Location"

Stayed on a short trip at this hotel in McAllen, Texas. The hotel is well located near several restaurants, the freeway and is across the street from La Plaza Mall. Rooms were spacious enough, lacked a lot of plugs for phones, laptops, etc. It had one at the desk in a lamp base, but don't try to charge your phone on the night stand near the bed, as there will not be a free slot to plug in. Bed was comfortable. A comfy chair and ottoman were in the corner of the room. Bathroom was clean. Flat screen TV worked well. The wallpaper was separating some in the bathroom and was a mite dated. Internet is free and wired or wireless. Breakfast is standard Fairfield Inn continental fare and is included with the room rate. A pool and whirlpool are located within the hotel. Exercise room is equipped with aerobic equipment.

Quiet location just off the hustle & bustle, although the lot to the north of the property is under construction - not sure what is going up. A bit hidden if it's your first visit. Have stayed here on business several times over the last few years. Tony Roma's is across the parking lot. If you like TR, ask the front desk for a coupon. Nothing fancy, but has always been dependable.

This was my first time to stay at this hotel usually it's the Comfort Inn Suites or Holiday Inn Express however when I first arrived it was a little hard to find but after locating it the first room we went into the a/c didn't work after calling the front desk they sent someone right away and even though they weren't able to fix it the sent us to another room and resolved our problem. The rest of my week stay was nice, staff was very friendly however the only complaint that I had was the breakfast area was too small for the size of the hotel. They have oversize tables, chairs and it makes it very hard to find a spot in the am. They area has alot of places to eat, to shop....I will probably stay there again!
