"Great choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.
"2 nights in Vancouver."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"Hotel Opus Vancouver - Great location"
This is a really good boutique hotel situated in trendy Yaletown and close to the water and the city centre. It is decorated in a cornucopia of colors and has a fgreat atmosphere. The underground is right across the road so it's easy to get anywhere fast. The staff are very professional, polite and helpful, especially the front desk and concierge. The […] rooms are really comfortable and the iPad with Internet access in every room is a great idea. The only small issue is that we had with the hotel is that the restaurant staff could have been better trained. Although the service was friendly it was also a bit haphazard and not in keeping with the quality of this hotel. However the food was great. Read more
"Opus Hotel-Vancouver, BC"
Great stay! Wonderful location in Yaletown. The Opus is clean, sleek, trendy. We chose a room with access to a courtyard, and upgraded to include a fireplace. VERY cozy! I'd stay there again in a minute!
"Fun, fun, fun"
My husband and I stayed here one night before starting with our group at the more expensve Pac Rim. We loved it . It had a fun atmosphere and everyone there was more than kind. Even getting us a reservation at one of the best restaurants in town which we could walk to. We would definitely go back
"Opus-YES!"
Great hotel with a very friendly and attentive staff. You can't get better than heated tile on the bathroom floors. Ahhhhhhhh! I'll be back
"Opus - great hotel, great location"
The hotel is pretty fabulous. Located in a great area with restaurants and coffee in every direction. We loved being there. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Only downside for us was that the Opus bar was relaunching its restaurant on our weekend and the parties were very loud and went on until 2AM. Our room was right above the restaurant and it […] was quite loud. Read more
"Best Boutique Luxury Hotel in Vancouver"
I want to move into this hotel. It's bedding is so comfortable you don't want to get out of bed. The staff are very friendly and the service is first class. I've stayed at Opus many times and will continue to be a repeat customer.
my husband and i spent our honeymoon in vancouver and the opus was an excellent place to stay. the staff was super friendly and attentive. though it was a bit loud on the weekends--the bar and lounge in the hotel is the place to be apparently--our stay was better than expected. we would definitely stay at the opus again.
"Opus Hotel Vancouver- Making the correct choice"
Wanting to choose a good hotel for location, ambiance, and service is a difficult task, through the internet. We could not have made a better choice than the Opus in downtown Vancouver BC. The staff was attentative and eager to help. The location was prime and the modern decor was a welcome change from most cookie cutter hotels. We are looking forward […] to our next oportunity to stay at the Opus. Read more
"Trendy Property in a great location"
The Opus is a one minute walk from the Canada Line Yaletown-Roundhouse Station. You can get from the Airport to the hotel in 20 minutes ($3.75) and only be in the weather when you cross the street from the station to the property. The staff is young, energetic and attentive to the guest's requests. The location is ideal in that you can use the Canada […] Line to get to the Civic Center, Olympic Village or Waterfrount. Great rain showers with good water pressure, 50+ channels on the flat screen TV, i-pod docking alarm clocks and CD stereos make the rooms very, very comfortable. After a 3 day stay, I found nothing negative about my experience and plan to return here on my future visits to Vancouver. Read more
Yaletown is an interesting neighborhood. It is energetic for a while and then just plain noisy and way to pretentious . You cannot find a bar/pub just to relax in. We love Rodney’s Oyster Bar (just around the corner) because of its atmosphere. Yaletown brew pub is great for the beer. The rest of the bars are less inviting and the lobby bar at the hotel […] is anything but inviting. It is obviously geared towards the high glamour crowd being that it is roped off and with the doorman gatekeeper controlling access. I travel to Vancouver twice a month for business and pleasure and have developed a preference for the coal harbour and Gastown area. The Fairmont Pacific Rim and Waterfront are more inviting with more perks for the same price. They also are close to more dynamic neighborhoods. The best part of our visit was the walk from Gastown to the hotel via Granville St. Diversity at its best. If you like a sterile cultural experience, Yaletown and this hotel is your place. Oh yeah, don’t bring your kids. Read more
"fun hotel - if you party till 4 AM"
Great hotel in terms of design and staff. We were unfortunately put on the 2nd floor of the hotel....and their restaurant/club were blaring all night. No matter how nice the features and location of a hotel, if you can't sleep over the blasting of music....you're going to have a miserable experience. I would recommend the hotel to younger groups....looking […] to party only. Read more
"Opus Hotel Vancouver- Great Yaletown Location"
Pretty good hotel in a fantastic location. Plus points: location, nearby ammenities, friendly staff Minus points: uncomfortable bed Less than pleasant lobby area (too much noise) no view, room too small too expensive

"Very chic"
Great location, gorgeous atmosphere. The only disappointments: finding out the complimentary car service was unavailable, and the valet service was $35 per day.
"Great Yaletown location"
I stayed at The Opus for one night on return from a conference. We had reservations at Global for dinner which was walking distance to the Hotel. The room was very spacious, bathroom has huge soaker tub and shower. The service was over the top. I look forward to staying here again and for a longer period of time.
"Opus Hotel"
well run boutique hotel with excellent service in hippy area
we loved the young staff and the rooms.
"Opus Hotel Vancouver - starting to show some wear"
Love this hotel, but is starting to show some wear and tear and room maintenance is advisable
"Cool Luxury"
Beautiful hotel in the perfect neighbourhood. Very close to skytrain and downtown. I will definately stay there on my next trip to Vancouver.
