We live on the north side of town.ann/durando. My husband and I just needed to get out of town without going anywhere. So we went to the galaxy movie theatre and spent the night at gvr. We did not use any of the resort options. Just dinner and a restfull night sleep. Thanks nice hotel. A getaway day in henderson. Thanks

For short Vegas trips, I always choose Green Valley. Good hotel entrance without navigating a casino floor. I prefer west wing. Valet staff familar and excellent. Cafe superb for breakfast.

Stayed here for last night of 5 days in Vegas. The hotel was impressive! Beautiful interior and rooms. We had a great time playing Roulette for hours on a Friday night. I would definitely come back!

Nice resort hotel with attentive staff. The casino is a bit tricky to get to and since there is no coffee maker in the room, making the early morning coffee run is an adventure (and expensive too). The casino itself is very clean and well kept, there are good dining choices, and the buffet is both affordable and good. All in all, a good stay.

This resort is beautiful And has great amenities!! That being said we could never seem to time the housekeeping staff and when asked if we would like our room cleaned we were informed that we were out of luck for the day since housekeeping was leaving at 4pm! In the 5 days we were there I think our room was cleaned maybe twice. Thank god we were careful […] about towel usage and basic upkeep. Had a slight issue with the valet not being so nice. After 4 hours on the road we both needed to use the restroom at the same time upon arrival and we were informed we could only do so if we left the keys to our vehicle or one of us had to stay behind.... NO EXCEPTIONS! (needless to say I made him hold it, sorry honey). Last gripe was the fact that I booked with hotels.com and wasn't aware that the resort fee had not been added to the room cost...( I guess I missed that in the fine print). Overall we would stay here again now that we know a little bit about how things are run and no more surprise charges. For the price and the quite atmosphere it was well worth the minor hick-ups!! The location and amenities are wonderful. The pool service and management is HORRIBLE!! They ran out of towels, the drinks and food take a minimum of half an hour to get to you and we waited at least an hour before a waitress even approached us. I paid in advance for a 2 queen bed room. While legally the hotel was within their rights to change the accommodation. Morally and ethically they were not. If I had sent two of my sales reps to the hotel, they either would have had to sleep in the same bed or had a roll away brought in. This creates internal problems which I do not wish to place myself […] or my company in. By making the change the hotel does not meet the expectations that were set at the time when pre-paying the booking. Upon arriving in the room I immediately contacted the front desk to alert them of the mistake and was pretty much told sorry but we are not making an adjustment or correction. Read more

My stay was fantastic, however I just reviewed my bank statement and discovered that Green Valley charged me full price for our rooms as well as the resort fees on top of what I paid on Hotels.com. Not happy that they could be so careless.

Hotel was nice but the Station Casinos have a resort fee. In this case $24.95 a night. We come to Hotels.com to get a good price and it is disingenuous not to put that fact somewhere more obvious. You have to search around to find it.

I had a very good stay at Green Valley Ranch. I arrived very late at night, and they were out of regular rooms so upgraded me to a large suite. Business services were easy to use, albeit a little expensive. Spa services (hot stone massage) was one of the best I have ever had.

The room was beautiful, the staff was excellent and we could not have asked for a better vacation. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to visit our children. It was convenient to their home and the food, shopping, entertainment choices were wonderful.

Quick stay but no complaints. Room was fine, spacious, clean. Bathroom did not feel as clean but wasn't bad. Shower was very small and had no where to set shampoo or razor. Otherwise nice.

The overall appearance of the hotel is pretty impressive; very nice looking. Has a handful of restaraunts inside the hotel so you aren't running all over for food. Never went to the spa or "District" (shopping center) associated with the hotel so I can't speak on behalf of those amenities. The bathrooms are huge compared to any other hotel I've stayed […] in. We chose Green Valley specifically to get away from the hub bub of the Strip over the Holiday week. Upon check in, I asked if I could get an upgrade, and, adjoining rooms. I was able to pay an upgrade fee to the Geneva Suite which was an incredible 2,500 sq ft. room with an adjoining room next door for our kids. We decided to splurge because of Christmas […] and it was well worth it. The room even had a pool table and separate his/hers bathrooms. Because there are a lot of locals that come here to eat and play (unlike the Strip), the ambience is a bit more relaxed and on Christmas Day, the wait to get a meal was more than an hour and a half. We ended up getting take out at Fatburger and taking it up to our room to eat (which had a formal dining room with seating for 8). Not the ideal Christmas dinner we had in mind, but at least we were together. The Casino has poor ventilation and smells of smoke, but the other areas of the Hotel are very nicely done and well maintained. It was difficult to get a drink when playing the table games, but I think it was more because of it being a Holiday week and them being short staffed. This was probably the case with the restaurants as well. All in all, I might stay here again, but keep i mind that the Hotel is about 15 minutes from the Strip. Read more

I had prepaid for my whole hotel stay ahead of time with Hotels.com. They even gave me a printable voucher with a confirmation # and a dollar amount that I had paid upfront stating "Paid In Full'. The hotel still wanted a $550 "deposit" for my 3 day stay which included a $25/day resort fee and the remaining was a refundable deposit after you check out. […] I asked what the large refundable "deposit" was for and they said the mini bars in the room. After going back and forth with the manager, I ended just paying the resort fee up front and they took the mini bars out of my room so that I wouldn't have to pay that ridiculous "refundable" fee. Wonderful place to stay away from the madness of the strip. Enjoyed the accessibility to the hotel without having to walk through a casino. Wonderful staff and service. This has become our new place to stay and will be where we have family and friends stay when visiting the area.
