The hotel is good. Sometimes the water would be hot and then cold at times. There was some construction going on in other rooms, so that might have been why the water temperature and pressure was not as good as previous when I stayed there. Also, someone charged items to my room without my knowledge which didn't make me happy, but the manager was nice […] enough to give me a refund for that. It was a good stay for the most part. My husband and I love staying at the Mt. Washington. Our son lives in Baltimore and it makes visiting him affordable and has all the amenities we need. The staff is friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast and refreshments are a nice plus. There are no hidden expenses and wi-fi is free. The immediate surrounding area was beautiful to view. The hotel is a nice build. There were no closets or hangers to hang my suit! No iron. The area under the TV desk was dusty and had food particles from a prior visit still visibly unvacuumed. Upon inspection of bathroom, I noticed a "hair" on the bathroom sink counter. There was a lot of construction […] going on just outside my room. My floor (3rd floor) seemed as though there was a lot of construction/remodeling going on. I should have been assigned to a room on a floor that was not being worked on. I asked hotwire for a smoking room and when I got to the hotel, I was informed the hotel was a smoke-free hotel so I had to go to outside balcony in the freezing cold to smoke (Baltimore,MD, 20-30 degrees!!!). Rooms need a complete overhaul. Bathrooms updated 25-30 years ago and the carpet also tired. Desk staff very friendly, but maids put my dirty towels left on the floor back on the racks to reuse.

Convenient to our destination. Hotel was fully booked but we hardly saw anyone else. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. There was a single hair between the sheets of one bed - it happens I guess. Continental breakfast was much better than I expected. The price was right and everything worked. We'll be back.

some restrictions on internet-I work for an auction website- had to continually OK the site each time I changed the screen- otherwise very nice hotel- full on gym with at least 50 machines and basketball court-mountain views-outdoor patio

We were visiting Baltimore to attend a wedding. I thought the idea of staying at conference center would be refreshingly different...IT WAS! It was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and the other guests were layed back and easy going. Morning walks through lovely residential neighborhoods with incredible landscaping and older homes were glorious. […] There is a Fresh Fields within a comfortable walking distance, a Starbucks and a little avenue with 4 or 5 incredible restaurants, including: Ethel and Ramone, a delicious cajun restaurant that rivals any you'd find in New Orleans! Had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. It is in an out-of-the-way location which wasn't apparent when booked. Desk clerk wasn't knowledgeable about the hotel or what should have been in the room for clients (no hotel information in the room). A manager (?) came to her aid. Otherwise a satisfactory experience.

In a very quiet location, yet short walk to Light Rail or quick drive to downtown attractions. If you are looking for luxury, this probably isn't what you want. But for a nice, quiet, clean room that is affordable, this is the hotel for you.

It was convenient to visit JHU. Restaurants nearby but not at the hotel. Served good enough continental breakfast. Parking was closely as well. Overall good hotel for an overnight stay. For extended stay one might want to consider hotels with restaurants.

Overall, the hotel was not bad. I stayed for just 1 night so I guess I can't really say much huh. The front desk lady I met was very nice and had good customer service. The only problem I had though was the breakfast. The bagels that was served during was stale, u could actually smell the "stale-ness" (pardon my grammer lol!!). A conference center, so more for the attendees, but only 15 min for the Harbor & downtown, on the campus in a residential area. Will go back again. Clean, comfortable room with balcony. Did not stay in room much, but area is nice

Nice campus location, north of city but within the beltway. Convenient. Room was clean and comfoertable Internet service and cable TV were problematic. Everyday websites blockes (Ebay for example) and TV channels not as shown on the room card. Some channels had static. Still I would not hestitate to stay there again.

The grounds were amazing and the over atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. I enjoyed the balcony very much. The inside of the room was disappointing and very outdated. Overall, I would recommend the place because of the grounds and the overall atmosphere.

I was very pleased with the beautiful surrounding of the JHU campus. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was what my grandson and I needed to start our Sunday morning. I would recommend Mt. Washington Conference center to friends and family.

Very nice and quite hotel. clean and very comfortable beds and linen. Quality pillows. The only problem was room was warm and had trouble getting in down to 70 degrees. ended up turning off heater and room was very nice. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. wuold stay again

1. The passenger elevator was not working. My room was on the 3rd floor (which I did not mind walking up to the first time. . . .). 2. Door to room did not lock automatically when I left. Called front desk to send up engineer. Waited. Called front desk again to explain I need to leave for an appointment I had in 30 mins. After 10 mins. no engineer, […] so had front desk arrange for another room. Had to walk back down (with all belongings) to front desk to get key. Walked back up 3 flights (with belongings) to new room. New room did not lock automatically upon leaving. Called front desk for engineer. After 5 mins no engineer. On second try leaving room, door FINALLY locked. 3. Was late for my appointment due to above (note - I had arrived in plenty of time to drop off my stuff and relax a bit before needing to leave). I left the hotel angry about the lack of prompt service and attitude of front desk person who didn't seem to want to be bothered with my dilemma. 4. Was unable (and unwilling) to use free wifi connection since the security certificate was flagged unreliable and was HIGHLY recommended by my computer not to proceed with the connection. 5. Found someone's else long hairs in my bed when I pulled back the sheets. 6. Mattress incredibly uncomfortable. 7. Hotel hasn't been renovated in the past 20+ years. I don't mind a dated look, but not inviting to see stacks of lounge chairs and sofas shoved into a large niche directly off the main corridor. Lots of stains in carpets throughout. Read more

The Hotel is part of John Hopkins University and is of very good quality. We stayed there because it was close to some frineds we were visiting. We were just passing through so I can't comment on teh location but the hotel and staff were great. Thoroughly recommended.
