    Very welcoming staff. Treated us well and made us feel welcome. Sensitive to our needs. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed. The only... downside was traffic noise on the side of rooms facing Alverado-Niles road - too loud during the week day nights. Heavy sleepers will be ok here anyway. We had to request a change to the opposite side and the staff were more than willing to switch. The only downside was traffic noise on the side of rooms facing Alverado-Niles road - too loud during the week day nights. Heavy sleepers will be ok here anyway.     The outside of the building looked newer than the inside, which was just basic wear and tear. Great location before moving on to our next destination. The kids were able to swim and the restaurants and shops close by are convenient and in walking distance.

    Staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping managed to get our room clean even though we slept in late. A small but nice hotel. There was only one elevator but a at least two stairs that were on the "outside".

    We had 6 rooms and all we clean ans smelled fresh. We walked over to dinner at Pasat Pomodoro, which was great food for my runners. At night the hotel was quiet and peaceful. We had a good stay and will be back next year.

    I was staying here with my girlfriend for a vacation and we needed to do things in San Francisco, in Oakland, and in the East Bay. We were using public transit for a lot of the trip, and the Union City Transit Center is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. This was extremely convenient. One night when we got back to the hotel, we were very tired and sore from walking […] all day, and wanted to use the hot tub, but the pool had been closed for 20 minutes. I asked the front desk attendant if he would mind if we used it if we were quiet. He was very friendly and said it would be fine, and even offered us extra towels.
