The narrow lanes fan out from Affentor Platz and lead to the city's best cider houses which produce their own Apfelwein. Enjoyed a big room with a kitchenette, the bedroom and living area were separate, although this isn't for all rooms, big comfortable bed, big towels and comfortable furniture. The gym and sauna area is great, the Spanish restaurant is lovely too, we didn't try the main restaurant or bar. I found it in a handy position near to Lokalbhanhof and a short walk into the old town or Sachsenhausen and of course it's right next to the Main. The only issues we had were they never replaced our coffee and sugar, also every day after having breakfast on room service we'd have to go down and ask for a door card for the next day. There was a small hob and fridge but no pots to cook with, we ate out though. The internet is unstable and costs 9.95 Euros a day or 39.95 for 7 days. These are minor faults and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

They didn't have the room I ordered but unprompted gave me a free upgrade to a huge suite overlooking the river. It was a nice quiet and untroubled stay in a solidly reliable real 4 star. Good value for money... though in truth I spent the difference in taxi cabs to get to the location I really needed to be in Frankfurt. Only quibble was that I'd planned to do dinner in the hotel first evening and the restaurant was closed. The pics of the pool and spa area looked good - but I didn't get time to avail myself. I'd probably stay there again... because of the excellent glazing and fir of the windows- outside noise of which there's much is vanquished

Stayed in this hotel while visiting Frankfurt for a trade fair. The price was right. It is a little off the beaten path but is close to public transporation (although we did not use). Decent restaurants are within walking distance, including coffee bars and bakeries. The Frankfurt Messe is about an 8 mile cab ride and cost about 10-12 Euro, depending on traffic and driver. We did not investigate alternative transporation to the Messe. Our room was like a small apartment with wood floors, comfortable bed and a fantastic view of the City. It was comfortable and clean with plenty of closets, mini-bar, microwave, cooktop. They even provided dishes and silverware should you need them (we did not). For American or other English speaking travellers, the availability of television stations was limited to 3 choices, SkyNews, CNBC and BBC World which get a little old but we weren't there for the T.V. They also have a selection of movies available for a reasonable 6 Euros. You can purchase a cinema/internet package (internet is not free) for about 20 Euros. The Hotel restaurant was a little pricey for breakfast at 23 Euro per person, which at current exchange rate is about $29 - Breakfast for 2 equals 60 Bucks! We did not eat any other meals at this restaurant but was always crowded for dinner. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again should I return to Frankfurt.

We choose this hotel mainly on location and it proved to be an excellent decision! Our weekend was based on the Xmas market and the hotel is situated right on the river only 10 mins walk from it. We also walked from the station, it took about 25 mins and you just follow the river. It's art deco towering style makes it very easily identified so you can find your way home easily. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. We took a room upgrade and the rooms were clean, spacious and very well equipped. The views were fabulous, and you really felt like you were getting a bit of luxury. Others we spoke to who did not take the upgrade were still very happy with their accomodation. To be honest we did not use many facililties as we were out most of the time but we have no complaints at all with those we did use. I would be happy to recommend this hotel as a great central point for a stay in Frankfurt.

We were given an enormous suite with a spectacular view, and weren't charged for it. The hotel was recently built, so it was very well-appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although slightly off the beaten path, it was a few blocks from a train stop and convenient to museums. The walk into the central part of town was extremely pleasant along the river. The hotel restaurant was terrific, and there were several very good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. My only complaint is that the Internet was not free. It could have been, given that they have WiFi.

The hotel is beautiful and impressive. The only complaint, which unfortunately is quite serious, regards the bedroom heating, which when we complained about it not working, their solution was to open the curtains, according to them, they block part of the heating, and when complaining again that it did not work, they offered more blankets. a disappointing event for a hotel which is otherwise quite excellent.
