Overall, really nice room. Lot of room and sinks (3!) Super clean. Plenty of free parking. Room service from Ruth's Chris (pricey). Free breakfast with made to order omelets. (plus the usual hot & cold breakfast stuff) Beautiful lobby with koi pond and trees. Convenient, but slightly tricky to get to location. It doesn't look like that's the road you are supposed to turn on if you are coming in from the north. We had to trust the gps & map. Oh and you have to pay for wifi unless you are a member of their rewards program - that's the only "con".

The hotel was very nice, and the staff very friendly. One problem was the walls were thin which allowed a lot of neighboring room noise.

This is a great example of a hotel that has been remade on the cheap. New drop in shower, counter tops and a curtain in the bathroom. Flat screen TV and pillows round out the upgrade. Still not good enough. The non smoking room was so cigarette smoke filled, we could hardly breath. Everything we brought into the room felt cover in tar after we left. […] The bed spread and floor were covered in cigarette burns. The next morning, we awoke to find that we had a sore throat and red eyes. The hair dryer was disgusting and did not work. We decided to skip the free breakfast and go to Cracker Barrel across the street. When we checked out, my wife told the desk clerk that the hair dryer did not work and she rudely told my wife that a new one would have been brought up, had we called. Little consolation considering we waited 5 minutes for her to show up so we could check out. Last time we stay in a Comfort Inn. Do yourself a favor and stay in the Holiday Inn Express next door. Stayed one night and was satisfied. Well kept,numerous surrounding places to eat at, and easy to locate. Great get start breakfast that could have been attended to a little more. Very friendly service -- Beth, at the front counter is very nice and made us feel at home! She directed us to a local burger resturant (Milo's -- great!) This exit from interstate had several resturants, a couple of them just across the parking lot. The continental breakfast included sausage, biscuit and gravy along with fruit, cereal, and pastries […] and saved us money on breakfast. Alabama Adventures was just one exit over (about 2 miles) from the hotel. Thanks for a great stay! We would stay here again. Read more
