I wasn't sure whether the hotel was going to be very nice by the online photos, but i was pleasantly surprised by the room when we arrived. This hotel has all the conveniences needed for a great vacation: Large rooms, pools, jacuzzi's, free parking, air conditioning and ceiling fans, full kitchens close to downtown (cheap taxi ride). I had read other […] reviews about the patio walls being tall, but i didn't mind them. They definitely allow for privacy, which is what i prefer. We stayed in an upstairs unit and absolutely loved the tall ceilings in the living and dining room. I would definitely stay here again. Read more

Love this place. It's like a condo, nice ameneties, great kitchen, bathrooms and living room. The bottom floor rooms have nice patios, and the pool and bar-b-ques are great. Not much to walk to in the neighborhood, very quiet, safe and convenient though. This was our third time... we'll go again for sure!

Our 2 bdrm, 2 bath place appeared to be clean until we found some men's underwear behind a curtain in the LIVING ROOM!! The handles & controls on both showers were VERY difficult to work. I reported that one of the toilets was VERY difficult to flush. The maint. man demonstrated by flushing several times that it was just "hard" to push. Later that day, […] I again was unable to flush it and asked my husband to try......the handle broke off in his hand!!! My sister and I enjoyed our stay at Vista Mirage! What could have been a disaster, turned out to be very good customer service. We checked in during an afternoon and fortunately a room was available. We settled in and then set out to view downtown Palm Springs (which is less than 1 mile away). When we returned to our room around 8PM, we found the A/C […] was not working. The manager at the front desk sent over maintenance right away to diagnose the problem. After 30 minutes of work, it was determined the compressor needed to be replaced. There was another condo available but without our designated double bed in the 2nd bedroom. We took it and was assisted by the maintenance man for our move. Unfortunately we were right above another condo whose inhabitants were quite noisy and were smoking heavily in their outside courtyard. Being late and with no other alternatives we stayed in the room, but asked to be placed in another room with the accomodations we requested the following day. The next day, we moved for the 3rd time to a much quieter condo. Throughout this ordeal the staff was as accomodating as they could be and that was greatly appreciated! The condos here are great with large kitchens, dining & living room. Very spacious master suite with a walkin closet! Second bedroom and bath were smaller, but still quite nice. Pool and patio areas were well maintained and really nice. Great place to stay for a short or extended time in Palm Springs! Read more

Loved the pool ! Close to grocery store, library & church . Carpet needs upgrading or at least a cleanning. Staff was friendley & helpful . Would stay again , but it is time for new carpet .

Everything was nice with the exception of the pool. It would have been nice if the pool would have been cold. It was hot outside and hot inside the pool, so it wasn't refreshing. Over all I would recommned this hotel again.

I had a low expectation for this hotel (especially since their pictures aren't extensive). When we got there the room was much bigger than I thought it would be and was complete with everything from plates and utensils to cookware. It made our trip so much easier to have everything right there and be able to eat in and not spend money on fastfood. Make sure you book reservations at this condo complex via Expedia. If you go through them directly there is a $25 "booking fee" that isn't refundable. Also make sure that only one person in your group makes arrangements so you don't wind up like I did with two competing reservations. That aside however, the complex is quite nice. Didn't get to try the pool as it was raining while we were there but all in all a good place to stay with a family of five. My two grand daughters and I arrived at Vista Mirage late on Thursday evening and Jeremy, at the reception desk, could not have been more helpful. It was the start of a wonderful few days for the three of us. Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely accommodating. The girls enjoyed games of tennis and ping pong and […] after a morning spent in the snow at the top of the aerial tramway we swam in the heated pool -- how Californian is that! The Vista Mirage was very quiet so we were lucky to have the facilities almost to ourselves and a five minute drive took us into downtown so this was an ideal place to stay. We could walk to the local grocery store and were convenient for everything. I would definitely recommend the Vista Mirage who are not looking for the whole spa/golf experience that Palm Springs has to offer but who want to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable vacation in a fairly central position..
