Room had a smell. The fridge had a broken foot and tumbled out of the cabinet when the door was opened. Pool ran out of towels. Rude bellman and pool attendents.

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I had requested adjoining rooms (one for the adults and the other for my teenage boys) with a king in one and two doubles in the other. I confirmed the availability with the hotel the day before. When we arrived to check in, not only were the rooms in seperate parts of the hotel neither room had a king size […] bed. When I mentioned that I had submitted my requests when I booked and confirmed the prior day, I received a shoulder shrug from the woman at the front desk. I checked on some of the amenities (golf lessons) with the conscierge who sent me to the pro shop where they simply gave me business cards - I ended up finding the factilities on my own. The only people I would recommend would be the valet who were quick, helpful and friendly. Read more

Great place. Very reasonable and service was good. If you are a family of 5 beware of cottages that is were they tried to put us and they haven't been renovated. Great restaurants nearby. A little crowded, we had to fight for pool space. My kids loved it. Plenty of golf and pool time.

It was heaven. I love golf. My wife loves sun and a beautiful pool and enjoys a spa as well. PGA has it all. The resort is pet friendly and our dog had a wonderful vacation too.

Great hotel, got a 3 on upkeep because of current renovation in progress. The only issue I had is that the room service menu is limited and we had to go pick up the food, which is then not room service. Otherwise, the staff and hotel are great!

It was a welcome and very classy gesture to be offered a complimentary drink upon our arrival. This may seem to be a small gesture, but it says quite a bit to the guest and about the hotel. My wife and I had no Idea of what to expect; we only knew that, the PGA's Honda Classic was played there. The facility was "special," it even had a "special feel", […] hard to explain, even as a 4 times published author. Depending on one's financial status, it could be labeled as expensive; however, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless quitely simply ... "they could afford it''. I wanted a place where I could sit quietly and begin writing my 5th book. Stangely, our room was next to the SPA and I was treated to soothing music and could choose any time to write - and I did, outlining the entire layout for my book. PGA Natiional was our santuary. We met a wonderful gentleman (Doc) who assisted us on the Champion's Golf Range and gave us a personal tour of the Health & Raquet Club. I used the gym and my wife went to zumba class. We also met a wonderful waitress named, Stephanie; I signed autographed copies of my latest book for both. Our only dissapointment was we didn't get to play golf; too much rain and a tournament on the day that we wanted to play the Champion's course. If I had one complaint, "a complimentary round of golf should have been offer." All in All .... "We thank PGA for a beautiful stay and experience"! We made our reservations 2 months in advance and was alittle disappointed when we arrived and the hotel and was given the wrong room, a King Bed. We reserved a 2 dbl. with pull out couch. We were expecting the sleep 4 people. Gladly, the Manager, Hector was able to find us a suite, not too far from the main hotel. It was spacious, and right on the golf […] course. Upon arrival we were excited about having the extra space however, after a close look around, we discovered the suite to be absolutely filthy! The flooring was disgusting, the bathrooms were obviously uncleaned ( I actually found blood on the mirror and molding). I did call the Customer Service and was able to get housekeeping that evening, even though they didn't seem to want or understand due to a language barrier, what was needed. This is a lovely hotel with great rooms and a fabulous pool area. I brought my "Service" dog with me and the room we had was on the ground floor with a small patio with a huge grassy area where my dog could run and take care of business. The resort is very well run. Check in was smooth. The room was huge with a nice balcony that overlooked the driving green. There are 2 free self park lots in front of the resort. The I Bar in the lobby has a great happy hour from 5-7. Thursday is ladies night drinks are 2 for 1. The pool is lively and well laid out. My lunch by the pool was a burger that was large and juicy. The pool restaurant has happy hour starting at 3pm 1/2 price drinks. There are various activities that you can take advantage of. One is the game of croquet. You can play and learn and on a specific night there will be an instructor to help. You need to be aware that any food purchase you make will have an automatic 18% tip added. The next time I am in the palm beach area I will be staying here and I would highly recommend staying at this resort. Read more

The pool is wonderful with tons of seating, though they give you tiny, flimsy towels and it suffers from my worst complain in these types of places, massive "seat saving poolside." We found seats, but its my big pet peeve. The restaurant Ironwood was tasty, but the automatic 18% tip chafed me and my friend a bit. They did have a coupon for a free bottle […] of wine with two entrees, so, that was fairly reasonable, and the service was quite good. Room was large and comfy, though I don't think we could really control the thermostat, it was not as cool in there as we would've like for sure. Yes, there is a resort fee of $25 per night - but it came with two free drinks - which we promptly used, the health club is the best I have ever seen at any resort, enormous and first class. The tennis facilities, terrific as well. Being off season, the golf pro shop and spa closed promptly at 6 - and with a 4 pm check in- I was not able to investigate either. Read more

I accidently left my keys to my car and house is the room. Security was so helpful in getting them returned to me. Staff was always friendly. Grounds are beautifully maintained. I was on the ground floor and there was noice everynight with someone rolling something along the sidewalk so I'd stay up a level next time. Otherwise, great stay.

Have stayed at PGA 8 years in a row. It's a little expensive in season but worth it even if you are not a golfer. Food is tops and the Spa, fitness facility, and pools are exceptional. Oh, yeah, 5 golf courses all different offering unique sets of challenges.

I was very disappointed with this hotel's facilities. The check in went fine- the rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. The food was mediocre-especially the breakfast restaurant. $43.00 for two simple breakfasts-and the menu listed the meal as a citrus breakfast- but not even a slice of fruit on the plate. Three eggs, bacon and toast - the food […] was mediocre at best. The lobby level cafe offered the best food for breakfast at a resonable price. We tried to use the outdoor hot tub at 10pm- and the water was lukewarm. I mentioned this to the front desk and they stated that they turn the heat off at 10pm- even though the hot tub is listed as being open until 11pm. The other thing we noticed was the lack of security. We were out by the pool at 10pm and there were alot of young teens wandering around pulling open outdoor closets- searching the area with flashlights- and no one was out there checking. Also the teens were jumping into the pool -three of them holding on together - jumping at once. An accident waiting to happen. All in all a high priced resort with mediocre services. Read more

I have frequented The PGA resort for multiple events for business. This was the first occasion I stayed overnight, and unfortunately, it was my last. I will note that the hotel was accommodating as far as early check in. My complaint begins when someone started banging on my door after 11 pm at night. At first, I ignored the knocking, thinking it was […] the door next to mine. A half an hour later the banging on the door begins again. I repeatedly called the front desk to inform them that there is someone banging on my door, although no one answers. I, then, proceed, to call the PGA resort telephone number on my cell, which connects me to an operator. After I explain that I do not feel safe and I am staying by myself. The operator attempts to reassure me that security is being sent and someone will return my call. Another twenty minutes pass, I call the front desk again, and immediately ask for a manager. The manager told me that the situation was being handled - FANTASTIC - except that the 2 hr knocking fiasco kept me awake and I was scared to fall back asleep, even though they told me security was going to be walking through the floors. In my opinion, I DO NOT think this establishment is worth a 4 star rating. I was greatly disappointed by the manner in which the manager and security and front desk personnel handled the entire incident. Read more

Golfers beware, dont stay at this Hotel unless you book the golf package also. Otherwise you will pay list at $195.00 per round, courses note worth that price. Otherwise the location is very nice, safe and clean however its a bit far from Palm Beach and 35 minutes from Boca, no night life at all in Palm Beach Gardens, just big resorts.
