The sheets needed to be updated. The main bathroom the toilet didn't flush the chain inside was broken. The beds in all the rooms squeaked we you got in or out of them. But other than that it was a nice stay.

toilet leaked, pool was not heated and you are required to pay $35 a day min 5 days to heat the pool...it takes five days for the pool to heat up! Horrible beds, aweful pillows, dirty carpet, smelled, poorly maintained home!

The garbage disposal was broken and the turntable in the microwave was not turning. I emailed the office on Sunday and on Monday, which by the way was Labor Day, maintenance were there and installed brand new items!! When we first got there we found a dirty pan in the oven and a few other thing that was not clean. The place is beautiful with a inclosed pool. We washed the clothes and went to dry them and the dryer did not work. We chose this house because we had several family member (6 adults and 6 children) and wanted to stay close to Disney. The cost of staying in the house gave us the most value for our money. I really appreciated that we were able to buy a welcome package (eggs, bread, OJ, milk, etc) to have once we arrived. The package was a life saver, since we arrived […] so late. First off the carpet was dirty and the bed sheets had hair in it. They charge $75 for cleaning but this house was dirty when we got there. Then you get charged a $250 deposit in which you get $230 back if you pay by credit card. Everyday, they would find an excuse to come in the home, i guess to check on the house. Asked Advantage to please clean the pool, which had dirt and obviously hadn't been cleaned in quite one time. Also requested the toilet to be repaired because it ran all the time. The home was infested with ants and palomino bugs. We resorted to having to spray for ants ourselves. The pool never got cleaned and so my family resorted to going to a water […] park. everything else was acceptable except the lack of option of heating the pool which tells you that always ask the property people whether they have that option as all houses are not with this option and the nonheated pool from october to march in florida is worthless. The location and convenience of our recent rental was perfect. However, we were a little disappointed in some of the amenities and comforts of the home. For instance, we felt the air conditioning was not working up to its full ability. Felt very warm in the home and even when we turned it down a little, still didn't really feel any cooler. Would recommend […] tv's in all bedrooms instead of in the living room and loft area only. Very hard to watch to different programs when both rooms are so close and open. The vertical blinds are also in need of replacing, everytime I went to open them in the one bedroom, several of them fell off. Also feel that it would be very helpful to other renters if there were essential items availabe at all times, i.e., paper towels and/or napkins, toilet paper and garbage bags. The pool could also use a little attention. Although the water was clear and there was no visible residue around the tile part of it, the landscaping and the bottom of the pool could really use some much need upgrading. For the most part we were pleased with our stay because we were not at the house very often, pretty much only to sleep and shower and one day was spent at the pool. Although I gave this a no recommendation, I am not giving a no to Advantage Vacation Homes all together, just wouldn't recommend this particular home unless of course there was so much need upgrades made. I have contacted them three times to make sure that they heat up the pool before our arrival. They failed to do that. I found spider webs on the ceiling and the house smelled like a wet dog. I just couldn't stay in that house because of the bad smell. The only option that I had was to upgrade and move to a different house. I had to pay extra $25 to […] do that. The new house didn't smell, but there was no internet service which the office promised all their houses have internet access. This place was ok. Having our own private pool was the highlight. The decor left little to be desired. The amenities like a nice tv were severely lacking. One night it rained and we wanted to watch a movie but it was hard to all gather around a 25 inch tv from the 90's. The Advantage Home we stayed at was beautiful! The pool was heated and lit so the kids could swim even in the late evenings. The rooms were all very clean and the house was spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet. We will definetly be returning to Advantage Homes for our next vacation.

The reservation process us pricy but smooth. A couple of day before the check-in date I was called and told that the house was not available and I had to downgrade to another house. I did not agree, then they told me that there was a "cleaning charge" that had to be paid in advance. The stay was fine even though we did not expend much time in the house […] (went to all the parks), when we wanted to use the pool we were told that we did not pay to warm-up the pool, so we did not use it. At check-out, we were abruptly thrown away by some people that presented themselves as the owners of the house. Finally, my credit card was charged another $100.00 unauthorized three days later. The only issue we had was the beds were hard and not comfortable, but everything else was wonderful! The maintenance manager,Patrick was fantastic and the pool lady, janet a pleasure to meet and speak with. we hope to travel this way every time. This was for our honeymoon. When we finally arrived at the vacation home, it was not in a gated community like they Advantage Vacation Homes promised. There was a party going on down the street and the street was congested. When we arrived at the house we thought everything was fine until I opened the utility room which leads to the garage. This is […] when HUGE cockroaches the size of my first finger were crawling all over the garage floor. My husband convinced me to close the door and report it in the morning during check in. BTW our neighbors trash had been knocked over and looked as though the trash service hadn't been by in a month. When I reported the cockroach problem the next morning Advantage homes promised to put in an immediate work order request to resolve the problem. Well...five days later, no use of the garage, and still had cockroaches. we also had a problem with spiders in the house. We killed three in the house while there. Also, the master suite bed was four inches thick with springs in it. HORRIBLE! There were no extra toilet paper, trash bags, or paper towels in the house, we had to buy those. The kitchen needed an update. The trash service didn't come when it was supposed to. The only good thing was the pool...that is if you don't mind the ants crawling around everywhere. We were located in Deep Creek Ct in clermont florida...when we were supposed to be in Orlando. Stay away from this place...so not worth the money paid..nor for honeymoon. Read more

I usually stay at a resort but wanted more privacy. The property management office provided me with inaccurate information on the documents that they provided me. They gave me an incomplete password for the WiFi and provided me with the wrong days for trash pick-up. The paper said Mondays and Thursdays but when called the office, was told that it was […] onlyon Thursdays. The house was nice, was not too crazy about the Americana decor, felt that it should have been more neutral like the resorts. The beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Housekeeping also was not as detailed in the cleaning. There were plenty of cobwebs that were not visible during the day but were in plain sight at night once the lights were on. The laundry room had so many in the upper corners that it looked like it had not been dusted all year. There were also artificial greenery throught the home that needed a serious dusting. The trash receptacle was also a problem. Due to the fact that maintenance left it out in front of the garage, the neighbors used it for their trash. It was a city/county issued can which meant that it was rather large for a once a week pick up. On my last day, I went to put our trash bags in the can but was not able to because it was full to the top. I had 2 large bags to empty (we ate out for most meals) and was not able to close the lid because the neighbors had the can full. Pool was nice and it had a grill that we used. Before booking please confirm with the advantage homes directly because the pictures shown are not what's available to you. They show you the best properties they offer and when you arrive its a total different situation. Even the main business office that hotels.com shows for this property is a lie. The main office is in a old shabby building and the […] staff was nice but lacked professionalism. There were also hidden fees which hotels.com do not inform you of like the and additonal $75 dollar cleaning fee and also a $300 hold on your credit card which you can't access until after your vacation. We try and vacation and have a good time but also budget as well so by them adding the hidden fees and holding $300 on my card we had to eliminate alot of the plans we had for our family because that was the money we planned to use for our leisure during our stay! Very disappointed and I will never use hotels.com for a vacation rental property AGAIN!! Maybe that's why its called HOTELS.COM! A very painful and disappointing lesson learned............ Read more

This was the coolest idea to be able to rent a house with a pool in the backyard, your own private pool. The location seemed @ first out of the way but actually we were close to one of the main highways. I rented a 3 bedroom house. Kitchen and living room. Tv in every room.
