Overall very happy with cost vs. amenities. Good value.
"Nice resort"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Overall a very nice resort. As in many of the reviews, food very pricey. Went to Walmart and did some shopping as suggested. Had breakfast in the room every day. Staff very friendly and great. Bus to downtown $1.00.....taxi $15.....no brainier bus!!!!!

I had a non-view room that was very small, but adequate for one person. I should have been given the option by Hotels.com to stay in a larger room, at which point I could have decided on the view room at a greater price.Being able to open the window would have been a plus; the small room had to be kept locked up, as the window faced onto the walkway and was accessible to anyone coming in from the street. I had a rental car, but could have gotten by without one. This hotel is located on the main highway at the exit for the central town. It is not really near the beach, but a bus runs by headed for major beaches.
"Posada Real is the real deal"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
We were looking for a beach vacation and were not disappointed with the beach; however, while we were there the waves were too big for us to swim. We had the all-inclusive beverages and breakfast which worked out perfectly for us as we enjoyed riding the Urbano bus into San Jose del Cabo for Linner. The staff at the Posada Real are very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. Benito kept our cold beers coming with a smile! To us, the place felt more authentically Mexican and we didn't get the feeling that we were staying on a giant land-locked cruise ship. We loved our stay there.

Literally at Land’s End, Cabo San Lucas sits at the southern tip of Baja California. Here, the Sea of Cortés and the Pacific Ocean meet at the famous Land’s End rock formation (El Arco). Nearby, Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor) offers superb snorkeling. Although popular for its world-class golfing and sportfishing, Cabo’s after-dark clubs are a rival draw, such as Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina.

Being that I have only read about the very high end hotels I was weary of everything else, I am fortunate to live in NYC and have access to the Best. I have also always had the good fortune of spending many years on an expense account - spending nights in top hotels. I figured the hotel was good because friends have stayed at the sister property the […] Sunset, but this was better than good - a great trip. If traveling with the 60+ crowd it's very easy to get around the property I would however recommend a room by the elevators- or the getting to the room part feels like a Pac Man game board, trust me. The staff is very fun - i'm not an activities kind of girl- would never go to a Club Med, but this place tends to be more fun - I met great people from the Mid West and West Coast, during these activites. If you have kids this is the place for you. If you want a singles swinging kind of hotel I dont know what to tell you- we visited the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar and the Sunset - both filled with families - Easter week probobly didnt help. GO on the Sunset Cruise, it was great to get so close to the Arches. Eat at the Bonita Hotel outdoor Sushi Bar, and definitely dont rent a car if staying here - you can walk to town or cab it for $6.00 each way - the shuttle to the SUnset sister property is great for a day trip. Room service for breakfast was terrible. No syrup for pancakes, no butter for toast, and bread not toasted, just heated. Time share girl called me a liar when I told her I had no time to see whatever they were selling.

"Great Week at Pueblo Bonito Rose"
Pueblo Bonito Rose was great! The location is perfect, close to town (5 -10 min walk), yet far enough away to give you the secluded feeling. Having not been to Cabo before, and with so many hotel options in the area, we got lucky and picked the perfect one. I read all the reviews before we booked, some good, some of the more recent ones not-so-good, […] but I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations in every area. Great view, swimable beach, nice pool, friendly staff. I cant speak too much re food quality because we went to town each night, but everything from the deli shop was great. Read more
