I reserved this hotel on a last minute whim and after a very very crazy day of travel I arrived at the Golf Villas at Oro Valley around midnight. I thought I was dreaming, this place was extremely nice for the value. I had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer with detergent! The rooms were immaculately clean and I felt like a princess. I was quite sad that I had only reserved the hotel for one night and had to stay in a different hotel on the other side of town for a conference, but I would definitely reserve a hotel/apartment at this hotel again when traveling to the Tucson area. Stay here!

The mountains in the background, as well as the golf course provided a picturesque setting. The hotel was located near many restaurants and shopping areas. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only disappointment was that we could not access wireless service from our suite, we had to go outside our hotel door for IPhone access or to the pool area for wireless computer access. I would recommend the hotel as an excellent value and a great place to stay.

The 'villa' was an aged floor level apartment that had a nice layout, but we were visited by two cockroaches within the 38 hours that we stayed there, therefore it felt dirty and a few of us did not sleep well. The pull-out sofa had a bar running right down the middle and the floor was more comfortable than using the pull-out. The towels, workout room, and pool were nice. It was not at all what I expected based on the listing and would have spent more money elsewhere had I any idea how uncomfortable I'd be.

We could not believe this great place! It had two great bedrooms and each had a bath. We had a full kitchen with coffee pot, toaster, blender and anything else you could need. It also had a dining area with 4 chairs, nice living area with sectional that made out into a bed if needed, 3 televisions with a pretty good selection of channels, washer and dryer, and a small patio. I wish we could of stayed longer. We just went to Tucson for an over night get-away. We hope to go back to this place soon.

The hotel was a great deal and the staff was real accommodating. The only issue I had was in the kitchen, where one day we came back to find the dishwasher loose from under the counter after the cleaning crew did the disks and cleaned up. The lights went out in the kitchen, but they fixed that the same evening. The tub needs to be caulked and the paint scraped off the window. Also there are no extras like salt, pepper, ketchup so make trip to your local fast food place and grab some before checking in. The pool was nice and there were grills available if you want to BBQ. Wish I would of taken my clubs as the golf course looked great. Overall great place to stay for the price, the issues with the room were over shadowed by the value.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It is condo style. Our reservation was for one room, but they gave us the two room. It was spacious, and much nicer than a regular hotel room because of that. It did have the cheap motel smell - better cleaning products would have been nice, but not necessary. It was clean. The oversized whirlpool was not so oversized - it was about standard. The bed was a bit on the stiff side, but I think that of most hotel beds. There was a VCR not a DVD player (maybe I was mistaken on which it was supposed to be). Overall it was a good experience, and well worth the price.
