"Great family place!"
Given the great price we found on Expedia we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. This is primarily a vacation club condominium resort. Conveniently located near Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills and Gaylord Opryland. Our large two bedroom, two bath unit (sleeps 6) was quite spacious and had plenty of room for our party of 6. Immaculate, […] tastefully decorated, beautiful grounds, nice amenities and pools. Friendly staff. Our only complaint - our second floor unit was somewhat noisy. You can hear every movement upstairs, doors, drawers etc. I assume we sounded quite noisy to the folks below us as well. Couple of tips - check with concierge for discounts to area attractions and tours. Popcorn is fresh and complimentary daily 2-6pm and free donuts on Friday & Saturday! "Will not go back"
One of the worst places we have ever stayed at. There are no restaurants or food places of any kind attached to the property, unless you count a vending machine. The walls are not noise proofed at all and you can hear every conversation and television program coming from neighboring rooms. The exterior was covered in webbing by some kind of bug and […] in desperate need of being power washed. Worst of all is the concierge service, or lack of. When we called to see if they could arrange a taxi to pick us up for dinner reservations at a local hotel, the concierge acted like she had never heard of a taxi. She said she would call back and never did. Then we called and was placed on hold, we hung up after over five minutes on hold. Finally after three calls and almost forty minutes she was able to get a taxi set up to get us. Very poor service by all. Would definately not reccommend staying there. "Great for families"
We loved staying at this property. Wish we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed all it had to offer. Only downside is the sound insulation is not great. Luckily our upstairs neighbors were fairly quiet. I can't say we were bothered but we could hear their steps. I would suggest staying on the top floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"good location for sights"
Resort was very nice and convenient. We did not realise that this was a time share resort so unlike a hotel there was no in room service for cleaning and towels etc. we were only there for 2 nights so it was fine for us. Overall the resort was very nice and the desk staff very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Do not accept "free gift" it is a time share scam. Kids Enjoyed the pools .Genuine Expedia guest review
Definitely would recommend. Only thing was the tub was slow to drain and fire alarm woke us up at 8am but stay was goodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location and accommodations. I would definitely stay here again! Staff was very impressive- room was very impressive!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable stay near the Grand Ole Opry"
This property is a time share and you have to realize that maid service is not provided over your stay. The unit was clean and had a beautiful kitchen area fully equipped. There was a separate bedroom. We could walk in daylight to the Grand Ole Opry and check out the hotel gardens. At night it was a short 5 minute drive to see a very entertaining Saturday […] show. "Very nice hotel"
We booked through Expida and didn't realize it was a time share resort . That being said it was a great resort we where there for a week and the full kitchen was nice to have. No restaurant or lounge on site , about a 15 min walk . No time share pitches either as all guest where thought to already have time shares. Pool areas where very nice , staff […] where very nice and accommodating . Very close to Grand Opry and Opry Mills Mall . Would defiantly stay there again . Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice accommodation just a bit out of town"
Lovely place to stay - very big in size for the 4 of us, but probably not suitable for those that want to be close to the action of downtown/midtown. Very close (walking distance) to some basic amenities - bars/restaurants and also to the Opry Mills for shopping.Genuine Expedia guest review
"We loved it!"
We were so impressed! We expected just a standard room with a bed and actually ended up with the equivalent of a huge apartment with a spa and balcony over looking a well maintained property. Plenty of room inside with kitchen, dining and lounge, washerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing outstanding, people were nice when you first get there but after saying no to the timeshare service wasnt the greatest, not terrible but nothing to remember either. Location is great for Opryland, and shopping but if your wanting to spend time downtown your 20-30 mins away. General Jackson was a great lunchtime excursion, entertainment was […] fabulous! This is a suite hotel and I felt represented value for the money. But I wasn't expecting to deal with the 'pitch' to attend the sales seminar and the prospect of buying something. Also, in our unit at least, the walls are extremely thin. No privacy from your neighbours.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Nashville location"
The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. They had all of the comforts and more, as at home.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pros and Cons"
The only drawback was that they wanted to take us on a 90 minute tour of the property to sell us time share. There was an offer of $100.00 off a future stay to do the tour. However when we said no firmly it wasn't brought up again. The room was huge and had everything you could want and both the bed and pillows were comfy. There was a balcony as well […] as a Jacuzzi tub and full kitchen complete with dishwasher and granite counters. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good enough but a few issues"
01/20/15 Helen K Jacksonville, FL
It was good enough for what we needed however I had a few issues while there. Maintenance was working on the condo right next door to us while there and would slam the door coming and going. It wasn't much of an issue because it was 8:30am (we were up) just a nusiance. The heater when coming on or shutting off would make a loud BOOM (sounded like the water pipes but I think it was the heating unit inside the condo). It woke me up at 6:30am a few mornings. The king size bed was somewhat hard but I could sleep on it. I wish it was alittle softer like my bed at home. They pushed the presentation in the checkin process. I knew it was coming and declined when they tried to invite us to a "hot breakfast" along with an 8 days/7 night vacation package the next morning. I asked the guy "Is there a presentation involved?" and he said "Yes but it will only take you 1 hr," I respectfully declined it because I don't have time for a high pressure talk. He was cordial about it and didn't push it but I noticed everyday we got a VM on our condo phone asking if everything was fine, etc...and to call them back (which we had no major issues so did not call them back). The washer (stackable) is VERY small. I think I washed 2 jeans and a shirt in one load. They did supply the first 2 load of washing detergent which was nice. If you want to pack light and wash clothes I suggest you set aside alot of time to do your laundry. The inside was alittle dated (furniture) but it was comfortable and worked. The kitchen had granite and was nice asetically but lacked a good design. The drawer next to the stove would not open completely because it hit the handle for the oven. If you are looking for a place with alot of food choices around this is not it either unless you want to drive to the mall which is about 10-15 mins away. Otherwise there is a bar/saloon/restaurant a few blocks away. There is a shoney's close by which we didn't eat at. No fast food or quick pick up places for food. The nearest publix was about a 15-20 min drive but in a decent area. The walmart they directed us to was in a scary part of Nashville so I wouldn't go there unless you need to. Otherwise try the Publix. I probably won't stay here again...Unless I could find a great deal like this time.
"Nice and roomy"
01/19/15 DanKat007 Perth, Australia
After spending weeks crossing the country spending days in small hotel rooms, Wyndham resort was a welcome change. The rooms are like a home away from home. Very big roomy rooms, nice kitchen and 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The door in the ensuing bathroom needs some attention, very hard to close. The washer and dryer came in handy too. The complex is huge and the staff very helpful especially at the front desk. There are lifts to the second floor so you don't have to fight the stairs with all your bags. The Aircon in the room is very efficient especially this time of year, heats it up nicely. The complex is located around 20 mins from Nashville by car. The one big negative was the 90min seminar we agreed to do on day one with the promise of a free 7 night week any where In the world in one of there hotels. We took the breakfast one on the day we were leaving to drive down to New Orleans, lucky we did as the seminar went for nearly 3 hours not 90 mins and it was all about buying a timeshare unit at the same complex we were staying in. We weren't interested but it took 3 hours to get to that point, in the end they put some pressure on you to buy one?!?! Do yourself a big favour and don't GO!!!! On holidays you have better things to be doing with your time!!!! Stayed as a family of 4 for 3 nights. We recommend the hotel just don't go anywhere near the seminar. Ps. We got the 7 night stay, only problem is you can use at particular hotels at very particular times of the year. None in Perth W.A?????
"Perfect for our needs"
01/18/15 jdalbert Calgary, Canada
We decided to stay here as we were travelling with our infant son and thought the extra space and amenities would be worthwhile. This turned out to be a good decision as the resort was perfect for our needs. We stayed in a main floor 1 bedroom unit. The unit had a full kitchen (complete with a small dishwasher and some cooking utensils) as well as a small washer and dryer. We found this to be incredibly useful. The resort also provided a pack-and-play crib for our son free of charge which was great. In regards to the resort itself, we didn't use many of the communal amenities (the weather was terrible while we were there so we didn't walk around outside much), but we found the resort itself to be in a good location close to the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mills shopping mall. Overall, while the room could maybe have used a little bit of updating, it was excellent for our needs and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Thankfully I read reviews and knew to ask for a top floor room. This place borders on being dumpy. First of all the door lock was nearly broken, hard to use. The furniture was stained, tattered. Luckily the beds were good. Walls are thin, so you better know/like whoever you are traveling with. Kitchen was nice, updated. The extra blanket for the sofa bed was disgustingly dirty, not sure what dry crust was on it. We called the desk at midnight they did bring a different blanket. The check in was a breeze they were very nice. We did sign up for the time share meeting to get the cash incentive. They said it was 90 minutes and trust me we had to beg to get out after 90 minutes telling them we had to drive home. We almost left without the visa gift card because they wouldn't take no for an answer. So would I stay there again, no. It was a bargain $400 2 bedroom for 3 nights lodging for 6 people. It is very close to Opryland hotel and shopping mall.
"Nice but could use some updates"
As stated before, they will try to get you in for time share presentation...we just smiled and said no, several times. We stayed in #1125, one bedroom suite. It was a little dated, but very clean. Only problem with the unit was the bathroom floor was old peeling tile. Hey management, that floor was really bad....you need to check it out. The shuttle to downtown is a real plus! Also the desk staff is very helpful. Loved having the kitchen and washer dryer in the unit!

Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We were in a one bedroom lock off unit in building 19. The unit had all the amenities including a small washer and dryer - very noisy though so really tried to use it during the day. Soundproofing could have been better for sure. The kitchen area is very small with no real counter space to prepare a significant meal but okay for sandwich making or a quick breakfast. There is a separate bedroom but the main living space configuration is more of an eat-in kitchen / dining room / living room combination so it's okay for a couple but not more than that. We really didn't use any amenities, although the resort is huge and they offered many activities, but the location is perfect. I don't think their shuttle service is worthwhile - very pricey... There are plenty of restaurants in the area, not to mention its close proximity to the Grand Ole Opry and the famous Gaylord Opry Land Hotel. The city of Nashville is only about a ten minute drive so this was a perfect base for our week in the area.
"Not as nice as we were expecting"
12/31/14 Carol B Bakersfield, California, United States
We stayed in the regular king room and it was pretty much a standard hotel room. But it did have a washer and dryer, which was very nice, except that they were extremely small and only handled about a third of what I call a normal load. The bedroom is closed off from the living room but the kitchen is along the wall of the living room that had a sink, dish washer, stove, and a full size fridge. So it had all the amenities, just cramped together. Family members that stayed in the two bedroom had a lovely room with granite counter tops, a balcony, and separate kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen even had an island in it. There were two bathrooms, and in the master was a very large jet tub. The bathroom in the master room was very spacious alone, as was the room - as opposed to the room in the one bedroom.
You could walk to Opry (if you arent in heels). Lots of close attractions and a close drive to downtown. Clean, spacious rooms and overly friendly front desk staff. Pool looked nice but there was too much to do in Nashville than to waste time at resort.
"Enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Nashville"
12/24/14 BrisbaneTravelbug73 brisbane
We were 4 adults travelling together so this was a welcome change from hotel rooms for us. Our unit was on the 3rd floor and was clean and tidy with plenty of space to spread out. Very close to Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills Outlet Mall. We had a hire care so we based ourselves here and drove downtown or to areas we wanted to visit. We didn't make use of any of the amenities on offer, but there is a resort bus that will take you downtown for a fee. We also managed to get a fantastic deal on the price, making our stay that much sweeter! Highly recommend to people wishing to visit Nashville that don't need to be right in the centre of things.
"In music city"
12/19/14 CLARK32013 Atlanta, Georgia
Close to shopping, Opry Mills Mall, Gaylord Hotel Convention ( Grand Ole Opry) Bass Pro Shop. Can get very congested with traffic. Was visiting !2/13/14 and had to sit on the express way (Hwy 155)for more than and hour trying to get into the complex. Best advise is to get there early and avoid some of the traffic. The Wyndham property is very nice. The fitness facility is in the main building and could be a problem during bad weather because you must go outside the reach the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in building 18, second level and it seems like all of the buildings had an elevator at the mid-point of the building. Lots of near-by eateries but not up-scale.
