We booked through Hotels.com and we didn't really know what to expect. Upon a late arrival, we were greeted with a very friendly front desk attendant who was happy we arrived safely. Check in was swift and we were up in our room within minutes of arrival. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room. My only disappointment was the quality of the pillows, very flat and no support, even with the extra pillow provided. We enjoyed a hot breakfast every day that ranged from scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles. We opted out of housekeeping for the 3 days, just because we don't have a desire for new towels each day (SAVE THE PLANET mentality) and I don't mind making my own bed :) Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the either of the indoor / outdoor pools due to our schedule, but both looked very inviting. The hotel is located right next to an amusement park (go karts, mini golf, etc) which we would have loved to enjoy, but due to entire weekend of rain, it wasn't open. Hotel is not on the beach, but a short drive and there were Destin Beach signs all around. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and if we find ourselves in Destin again, it would be a must stay. Thank you SummerInn Place for an enjoyable stay.

It has shops underneath your rooms. Amazing Coffee shop. Plenty of places to eat if you do not feel like driving and the beach is arms reach away. Great location and amenities. However, the Room needed updating, carpet replaced, ceiling fixed, appliances. Also, it would have been nice to get a heads-up from Resortquest that they would be doing remodeling of the exterior all week. Again, not a big issue but a little annoying to have men work right outside your room all week. Great place to stay! Right across the street from the beach with an ocean side view, and right in the heart of many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff was very fast & courteous. We had an early check-in, and it took a total of about 2 minutes to have us checked in. Very Pleased!

The location of the condo was good,except that it was (1) a condo (we thought it was a hotel) (2) it was located over a restaurant with loud music into the night . There were no ice trays,hangers, hot pads and a few lights didn't work. Since it is a condo there were not and personal on duty to welcome us and help us get oriented and /or take care of […] any of these issues. We called a number and we were told that these problems would be taken care of the next morning. By check out time two days later we were still waiting. We enjoyed the area very much. The condo was comfortable in so far what basic things that it had.,The colors of the walls etc were pleasing and clean. When we entered the room it seemed warm. The toilet had been used & not flushed & the trash was not emptied in the kitchen. After being there for a while we realized the AC was not working at all. We had to wait to report because we checked in late. Reported next day & later were informed that AC would not be repaired before our checkout time. They […] appologised & offered to let us change units.We chose to stay rather than packing everything up & moving. Also since it was early spring it was not totally unbearable. We did have to sleep with our balcony door opened to get the breeze so it would be cool enough to sleep. They did bring us a fan after we asked for one. they did comp us for one night without us asking for it, which we thought was nice. The desk staff were nice which made it easier. I would consider staying there again since I hope there will be better supervision now that these things have happened. The area is nice & offers plenty of things to do. Read more

This place is very pretty..All the workers are nice and sweet and most of all very helpful.This is a great place to bring your family and even your pets..It's not even 5 mins away from Destin Fl...I will be going back and staying at this place again real soon...
