The room was very nice. We stayed in a suite that had a spiral staircase that went to an unstairs bed and bathroom. We were on the second floor that had a nice view, over the resturant and then the ocean beyond. Be aware that there are no elevators. The air conditioner broke while we were there but the staff quickly offered a replacement room but we […] only had 2 days left and did not want to move our stuff. We just used the breeze which was ok but a bit warm at night. We arrived after the office closed and were able to get keys and such from the on site manager. The security guard are very nice and helpful. The restaurant on site is good with prices typical on the island for dining out ( $30/ person/supper). The only major complaint...... the condos are located very close to an industrial site that runs machinery 24/7. There is no listening to the waves or the frogs from the balcony which to me is a real loss of relaxation. Otherwise the condos, staff and price were great. Read more

This is my second time staying at Club St. Croix. I visit the island twice a year on business and I love these condos! I love the convenience of everything about this resort. No worrying about parking. There is a security guard on the grounds at night. There is a great restraunt attached and there is a laundry facility on-site. Not to mention the great […] room and view. The condo I stayed in was very clean and had everything I needed including pot and pans, dishes and even tupper ware! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that every dish or pot or pan I took out of the cabinets seemed to be dirty. Other than that I can't complain. The staff is always very nice and helpful. THE rooms were not clean on a regular basis, the towels were never replace, the help receptionis was very RUDE, not polite, the lawn cutter, made loude disturbances with the lawn mower, no consideration, for timley,work ethics.

The pros: this property was good for our basic needs - was roomy enough for the family, had a nice pool and a decent restaurant as well as an adequate kitchen set-up. They also had snorkeling equipment available to borrow, which was nice though we didn't snorkel at the property (there were better places for snorkeling on the island). Our particular […] unit was clean and had little games for the kids (a plus) though a bit dated, decor-wise. The cons: the unit didn't have AC in the master loft suite and the two units in the other rooms weren't adequate to keep the space cool and comfortable during the time we visited. Granted, the temps were unseasonably warm and the management offered to move us to another unit, but that wasn't much better so we didn't end up moving. You'll also need to rent a car or call cabs to get most place - the location wasn't within easy walking distance to town or the grocery. My family stayed for the week of 3/5 - 3/12/12 at the Club St. Croix after finding it on Hotel.com. We were a little apprehensive about the whole island after reading some of the reviews here and on other sites concerning crime and poverty. After arriving all our fears were put to rest immediately and found both the island and hotel very safe. Everyone […] we met during our trip were very helpful, polite and kind. We have traveled extensively throughout the Carribbean and found besides Bermuda this is a must see place. But, just like anywhere in the world there is crime - you must be sensible and act accordingly. Our hotel room was very nice and had a stunning view of the beach and Buck Island in the distance. Our only complaint with Club St. Croix is that the beach is not really good to swim in. There is thick seaweed right beneath the water's surface and the power plant next door occasionally dumps contaniments into the water forcing the closure of the beach. Overall, a very nice place but if you want a swim in the ocean go to another beach. Read more

I was there for nine nights for work and when away I like a place with a kitchen so I don't have to eat out all the time. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment even if some of it was a bit battered and plastic. All the appliances worked well though. Prospective visitors need to know that Club St Croix isn't on a great swimming beach but there are good beaches nearby and the pool is good. There are a number of different unit floor plans at Club St Croix and this was on the top floor with mezzanine bedroom and bathroom. Furnishings are also down to the owners so may vary. All in all, it's great value for money, very convenient and I'd thoroughly recommend it. Read more

I was in unit 108 and whoever owns this unit should be ashamed of themselves. the mattress was completely colapesed in the center. In all my years of traveling I have never seen a mattres that bad. The room did not even have a scrub brush or soap for dishes (which I have had at every other condo I have ever stayed in) the rest of the resort was fine […] I just ended up with the crapiest room. I was able to see in some of the rooms around me and they looked alot better so if you do stay here stay away from room 108. The restaruant was great. Read more

We came for a wedding during hurricane season (30 JUN thru 4 JUL) and endured heavy rains and winds for much of our stay. In fact the weather was so bad that our last connecting flight to St. Croix was cancelled, resulting in the loss of our first night there. On our last night we experienced a power outage. Generators kept outdoor lighting, but forget […] about the inside. I was told by security that nothing could be done. Our remaining food spoiled and we slept in the sweltering heat. When we checked out the following morning--about 11:30am--not all power was restored. The room was extremely clean and staff was courteous. The beachfront presented a nice view, but was not the best for walking, and the onsite restaurant was a little pricey. The closest grocery store was about 1.5 miles, which is walkable but not ideal, being that we're visitors. Overall it was an average experience. Read more

Club St Croix met our needs perfectly. We wanted a condo hotel with a kitchen as a base for visiting our favorite places on St. Croix. The view of the sunrise over Christiansted and Buck Island was stunning as we sipped coffee on our balcony in the morning. Located just west of Christiansted, trips to Cane Bay, Sandy Point, Rainbow Beach, Point Udall, […] and Jack's Bay were all short but spectacular drives. Housekeeping cleaned our room every other day, and the bed pillows seriously needed to be replaced. We found those to be very minor inconveniences. A bigger dissatisfier was that the beach (sea) in front of Club St. Croix was closed for almost all of our stay. We were told the closing was due to run-off from recent rains. As we had a rental car and had planned to beach/snorkel in other locations around the island, this was more of a disapointment than an inconvenience. Over all, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. Read more

Club St. Croix's staff is friendly, helpful and their service was excellent. Whatever you need, they accommodate you within 24 hours if not immediately. The beach is cleaned daily. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful...The room had some dust etc around the bed headboard but the housekeeper said she did not have access to a vacuum cleaner which would have helped clean this item. Lovely beach, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Restaurant is okay. Quality of rooms can vary. Latest stay was first time in a Jr. Suite.
