This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was a welcome relief after a week of typical German breakfasts. However, finding the hotel was difficult even though our Garmin gps brought us to the far entrance to the underground parking structure. There was no signage indicating that there was parking there […] for the Novotel Hotel. After driving around the under ground parking lot we located the hotel entrance in a far corner of the lot. Overall, the hotel is good. My mattress was not great, but OK. My biggest complaint (and this seems to be the case with many Accor hotels) is the Internet access. Because it's outsourced (T-Mobile for lobby wireless; another vendor for wired in the room) the hotel can pass on the responsibility. I had intermittent access in my room and couldn't even […] connect (for three days) in the lobby. When I talked to the staff, they said to call the provider. Who has time for this? We had a good experience until the checkout, when we were literally ignored by the receptionist, which saw us waiting but chose to serve another patron - which appeared to be German - who cut in. We didn't mind so much the other patron's rudeness, as we did the lack of etiquette of the Novotel employee.

Stylish and modern hotel. Excellent service from staff e.g. phoning gallery to check if open on a particular day. Lovely breakfast - lots of choice and if anything ran out it was re-stocked immediately. Room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Very helpful that there was 20 minutes free internet use in lobby so were able to check in for flight for […] following day. Only took a few minutes to walk to the market square and and then on to sights. Karlsruhe itself was great - amazing galleries and really good feel. We'll definitely be back. Read more

This is such a great hotel! The staff are friendly, everything is spotless, the breakfast is amazing, though somewhat expensive. It is also just half a block's walk to the nearest tram stop and quite close to the city centre. I'll definitely go there again.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. Clean, modern, and a new building with parking garage under the hotel with good access via lift from the carpark to the reception. Good disabled access. Multilingual staff and signage no complaints about the accomodation. Unfortunatly, the Internet access in the hotel has been outsourced as a wifi pay per hour access […] with very poor signal quality and bad security. I was unable to use the Internet in the hotel, and would not consider the statement about internet access in room to be accurate. If you want internet access, find another hotel. Otherwise the hotel is fine. The current state of the city is very unfortunate as there is a very large amount of building and road work going on. The hotel can't be acccessed directly and requires navigation of the one way system and back streets to approach the road from the one direction, which is the opposite direction from the Autobahn. Any visitor not fluent in German and arrivnig by car will struggle. Basically, the city centre is currently one giant road work with temporary road lanes and signage. There are no signs directing to the hotel at all. Read more

Really nice hotel. Very central. Minutes walk to town centre with big shopping mall across the road. Tram stop right outside the hotel. Free internet in the lounge area. Bad points were that the hotel breakfast was crazy expensive- approx €20 for one per breakfast! Really nice selection but very expensive. Sehr schönes sauberes Hotel. Ich würde diesem Hotel 9 von 10 Punkten geben. Einen Punkt muss ich leider wegen der nahegelegenen Strassenbahn, die mich immer um 5 Uhr geweckt hat ,abziehen.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel genossen. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum, nah am Marktplatz. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und ruhig. Verschiedene Kleinigkeiten zur Verfügung, wie Zeitschriften, Wasserkocher mit Kaffee, ein Bademantel und verschiedene Badeartikel.

Top Hotel!! Ich bin beruflich viel in Hotels unterwegs und das ist eines der besten in denen ich gewesen bin. Sehr sauber, modern und sehr guter Service. Einzig das Frühstück für knapp 20€ finde ich zu teuer. Aber muss man ja nicht in Anspruch nehmen - es gibt genügend andere Frühstücksmöglichkeiten in der Gegend

kein einziger Parkplatz steht dem Hotel zur Verfügung und die ausgewiesenen Hotel- Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage entpuppten sich als hochpreisige Parkplätze der Stadt Karlruhe ,bei denen es noch nicht einmal ein Rabatt für Hotelgäste gab.

Meine Kinder fanden den Spielbereich in der Empfangshalle toll. Auch die Willkommensstifte und die Klapp-Frisbee-Scheibe waren ein Hit. Nur das Papier zum Malen hat gefehlt.

Das Novotel Karlsruhe besticht durch eine moderne Ausstattung, saubere Zimmer und durch die Zentrumsnahe Lage. Einzige Minuspunkte sind die hohen Preise der Mini- wie auch der Bar, sowie die Baustelle direkt vor der Tür. Kostenloses Parken in den Seitenstraßen ist problemlos möglich. Die Nacht im Parkhaus ist vollkommen überteuert.

War nur für eine Nacht im Novotel. Das Hotel hat meinen Erwartungen enstrochen und es gibt nichts Negatives. Frühstück war gut, aber die Atmosphäre war ein bisschen "hektisch" durch die vielen Leute... da kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant fürs Essen am Abend ist schön und gut und war auch wesentlich gemütlicher und angenehmer.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral was schon der einzige Vorteil ist. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist wie bei allen Hotels in dieser Kategorie schon lange nicht mehr richtig. Für jede zusätzliche Service (Frühstück, Garage, Internet, ect.) muss mann zu dem schon recht happigen Grundpreis teils unverschämte Aufpreise extra zahlen.
