"Pick your room carefully"
Granted we had to take our one night stay without much choice as there was only one room left and we needed a place to stay for the night. Very good location with some neat Old Key West chic restaurants nearby and Duval not that far away but the room we got was pretty much like a cheap motel. Clean, perfunctory, modern fixtures but door was right on the street and the room couldn't have been more than 120 sq ft...enough for the bed with a little counter area and an okay bathroom. Again, clean and friendly but lacking ambiance and the air conditioner was one foot from the bed so was noisy and blowing on you all night...in Key West not an option for no air. So, pick your room very carefully and go for an interior room. Pictures are of course for marketing the hotel which is a collection of buildings. For this price even at height of season there were better options if you can plan ahead which unfortunately we couldn't do.

"Cozy, clean and quiet"
This B&B is in a great location and is kept very clean. Breakfast/pool area has a nice cozy feel to it. Front desk staff was exceptionally nice. My only complaint would be The room needs a bit of an upgrade: rug although clean need to be changed and the Same goes for the green shower floor tile.

"Expensive stay"
Entrance on busy street. 8 trash cans outside door of our room. Bathroom was updated, but only one small mirror above sink in bathroom for entire bathroom and bedroom. Counter around sink was small---little room to place cosmetics when putting them on in front of the one mirror! An inch gap below shower curtain and edge of shower, so water all over floor after a shower. I lucked out and got a parking space on the street. Very difficult to cross street with luggage since it was so busy.

"Very satisfied"
Excellent location. Within walking distance to Duvall Street (7 minutes) yet away from the noise of Duvall Street. Walk a block or 2 either way and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the local/off the beaten path businesses in charming neighbourhoods. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Well maintained property. Guests of a similar demographic, i.e. over 40, which meant quiet and respectful guests. No drunkards coming back late at night causing a scene.

"Not worth the price"
For the price, the room was totally inadequate. No clothes closet (except one about a yard high that you would have to crouch to use), one chair, no table or desk. The room was never made up between 10-2p.m. or after we left again at 4p.m. Breakfast buffet was nice, but could only be eaten outdoors, and the temperature was 59 degrees.

"Very small room."
the room smelled bad. A very bad value. our room was in the building across the street if I wanted to use the pool I would have had to go in my swimsuit across a busy street to the other side.one day it rained so I have to bring all my food for breakfast to my room again across the street because there were no umbrellas to cover people to be able to eat in the rain. on the plus side there was a fridge in the room.

"Tiny room but place appropriate to Key West"
This is a tough hotel to rate. It's a quirky place in a quirky town. Our room was the smallest I've ever stayed in (tiny!) but the shower was excellent and the overall hotel setup and location was good. We enjoyed our stay despite a lack of storage space.

"Easy walk to everything but too noisy."
Nice check in. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Easy walk to all main attractions. However, room was very small, no chair. Nice bathroom. Biggest problem is that the hotel is on one of the main roads into town. Starting at 3:00 in the morning, the trucks bring in supplies and the garbage trucks run. With our bed only 30 ft from the road, could not sleep. Perhaps, an inner room would be better.

"close to ferry terminal"
traveling by ferry to Key West this was convenient (short walk), office staff was warm and welcoming, we could leave our luggage early in the day so we could enjoy the island and the B&B was certainly within walking distance to the Mallory Square area. If I did this again I would get the on/off trolley ticket on the ferry and have travel opportunity for the full 2 days

"Great week was had."
The stay was wonderful, The staff, grounds and the location was great. Within easy walking distance of all the attractions but away from the noise and craziness of downtown. A bit pricy but with a lot of value for the money. The full breakfast reduces the daily cost by $30 or more for a couple compared to eating in town. I will defiantly stay there again.

"Not bad..."
Fan in bathroom was disturbingly loud. We had the room by the pool and it had a damp smell. Also had breakfast noise in the AM since it was served outside our door. If you wanted to do Duval Street the location was good. Staff were very nice. Pool was small but relaxing to sit by. Breakfast was simple but a variety of foods were provided. Good Place overall. Parking nearby can be a problem. We were lucky enough to find a free spot on the street. There is a city garage a few blocks away.

"Cramped, humid hotel room"
After being on a cruise ship for 8 days, we were not expecting our hotel room to be smaller and less comfortable than the ship but that was the case. The shower had mold in it. We were constantly damp even though we ran the air conditioner constantly. Very over priced. The breakfast was very good though.

"We'll be back"
The Albury is a quaint little hotel that is far enough off the 'main drag' (i.e., Duval St.) to be not too noisy, and yet close enough that it is only a brief walk (about 5-10 minutes) away. The hotel itself is made up of several different period houses and are co-located in a general area that is split in two by Eaton St. The buildings are two-story (for the most part) and are well maintained. This was our second stay and we were surprised to see that there have been various improvements since our stay last year (e.g., wood floors, better bed, etc.). We stayed in the same unit both times and were told that it was one of the smaller units. They wanted to 'upgrade' us (for free) to a larger one, but we really enjoy the little porch with two chairs and table that is part of "our" unit, so we declined to switch rooms. There is a 'market day' event on Sundays (10-2?) that is just a block from the Albury. Lots of crafts, food, etc. There are also various stores within two blocks of the Albury that have anything from basic food (e.g., convenience store) to services (e.g., bike rentals) to clothing, crafts, liquor, ... (pretty much anything you need!). On this trip, we rented bikes and that was a blast. KW is flat, and a bike is a really logical choice. It used to take us about a minutes and $18 (one-way) to get to the 'big' beach (Smathers) due to calling/waiting/dealing-with a taxi, but -- with the bike @ $18/day -- Smathers is only about 15-20 minutes away.

"Pleasant hotel in Key West"
We had a very nice stay at Albury Court. We found the room small, but exceptionally clean. The location was good with easy access to local attractions. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area was quite small, making it somewhat stressful finding a table if you happened to hit it during the rush. We'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to fellow travelers.

"Kudos to comfort and convenience at Albury Court"
We arrived with the Key West express ferry from Ft. Myers. It's an easy 3-block walk to the hotel. The front desk duo offered a warm welcome at check-in. The accommodation was compact, but all we needed as we were out for most of our visit. Breakfast afforded anything we could have wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Albury Court, and would recommend it highly!!

Comfortable and cozy place. Hotel staff was friendly. Room and breakfast was good. The bathroom had a nice jacuzi. Only reason i gave less rating in service, I had called twice to ensure room is ready with a baby crib, i reached late because of heavy new year traffic on roads, the room was given to another person and the crib was not moved to a new room. Even when the crib was mived, I had to fix the base of it.

"Tiny rooms"
On our first evening water began dripping from the ceiling down to the bed's pillow. We were moved into the different room just for one night. This room was tiny and very noisy (very close to the breakfast area).Hotel's management refunded us $100 but the whole experience was spoiled. Breakfast area is very small and doesn't accommodate many guests at once. We ended up taking breakfast on our room's porch. Location is pretty close to Duval Street, 10-15 munites slow walk.

"Great Spot - Walking distance to most attractions"
We've stayed here a couple of times now and find it to be one of the best choices in the area. You can drive in and if lucky find a parking spot on the street, park your car and then walk to explore Key West. If you arrive on the Key West Shuttle the hotel is only a few blocks away from the dock. The Wharf area, Duval Street, Malory Square, etc. are only a ten to fifteen minute walk or so away. Great accommodations. Good food at the continental breakfast. Free Wi-Fi. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We'll be back!!

"Wonderful as always"
Wonderful as always. This is a great place for any stay and especially if you are coming in on the Key West Shuttle. The hotel is just two blocks from the water and features clean, comfortable rooms and a free continental breakfast. The pool is heated but we never seem to hit a week that isn't too cold to swim. About 6 blocks from Duvall and all the night life yet still quiet enough for a good nights sleep. We've never found anywhere that's too far to walk from here. Parking can be tough to find on weekends if you drive in - but there is a Parking Garage two blocks away for $13 a day if you're really stuck for a spot.

"Relaxing place out of the hustle & bustle"
Albury Court is a healthy walk away from Duval and all it's noise and traffic. It has a nice 4 ft pool deep wading pool, and the free breakfast is a nice touch. The rooms are varying sizes, depending on how much you paid to stay there, but ours was clean and exactly what we expected. The staff were all helpful, and the room was cleaned every day (including Thanksgiving). Parking is an entire conversation in itself, but all of Key West has that problem, so Albury Court can't be held accountable for it. Plus, the lady on the phone told me about it when I called, and I've been to KW before, so it was no surprise. I'd stay there again if I get down there again.

"Great hotel within walking distance to everything"
We had a great stay at the Albury Court Hotel. It's exactly what we needed given that we were out and about in Key West everyday. Don't miss a beautiful sunset in Mallory Square or brunch at Blue Heaven. The food there was fantastic. We chartered a deep sea fishing excursion, caught some mahi mahi (dolphin fish) and was given a recommendation by our captain to go to Salute! on the Beach where they cooked our fresh catch. The Half Shell Raw Bar was great as well. We look forward to coming back to Key West and staying at the Albury Court again.

"A visit to Dry Tortugas"
I picked this hotel because it is located near the dock for the boat that goes to Dry Tortugas National Park, (my main reason for visiting Key West) and also because it was more reasonably priced than most of the others I saw listed. I don't spend a lot of time at my hotels, so I don't worry about much more than cleanliness and getting a good night's sleep. I got both at Albury Court. It's a bit of a hike (six blocks) to Duval Street, the big tourist draw, but that makes it closer to some of the more amenable off-Duval restaurants. The hotel offers complementary breakfast, which you will need to rely on Sunday morning when all the restaurants are closed. The main problem with the hotel is that there is no hotel parking - you have to park on the street. The hotel provides you with a guide to the location of all the legal parking spaces nearby, and I was surprised to find I didn't have much trouble finding places to park when I needed to. However, I didn't know anything about the system and was parked illegally while I was registering. Fortunately, I didn't get caught.

Our room was a good size and had been updated but still retained that old hotel charm. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, fresh bakery items and other great things. "Thank you to Kaya and all at Albury Court!"
I took my girlfriend to Key West, FL. We arrived right after Fantasy Fest concluded and left before all the Parrotheads arrived. Neither of us had been to Key West before. We were there to relax, sight-see, learn of the history of Key West, go to the beach, and meet Robert The Doll! The room was clean and welcoming. The pool was nice, breakfast choices plentiful and when we rented bicycles for Eaton Bikes(on margarett and eaton), Kaya at the front desk gave us beach towels to take along to Higgs Beach. Kaya was most helpful at every turn with information and with general needs, such as allowing us to leave our luggage in the lobby while we went went out to eat after checking out yet before we were to fly. Kaya suggested and called a taxi for us. Very helpful to keep us relaxed during our visit.
