Very old, our room smelled like it was DOUSED with cigarette smoke, small, horrible staff (very unwelcoming at check in), the headboard had fallen from the wall and was left behind the bed, outlets were caved in and nothing would stay plugged in. HOWEVER, the bed was comfortable and i would possibly stay again.

Hotel is very older and could use some updating. Bathroom has been remodeled awhile ago and was not bad. Sheet had some stains so we slept in the other bed. Overall, we only used for sleeping so were able to handle it. Would look for a different hotel next most definately.

The web site mentioned a continental breakfast. If it existed I could not find it. The floors apparently had not been vacuumed as there was some kind of dried berry scattered about the room. Also the hotel staff was not very friendly.

I only have one complaint and that is the breakfast bar needs to have more of a selection. There was only muffins and honey buns. I would suggest maybe a waffle iron/self cook or a selection of cereal and fruits

The check-in was wonderful. The employee was more than gracious and found us a better room for the same rate. Close to the places we wanted to see. Our check-in gal suggested a restaurant for us to go to and it was wonderful. Even had entertainment.

Easy access to entertainment and relaxed dining. The rooms are clean though a bit worn. For the price, the location is hard to beat. Walking distance from plenty of live music choices, and easy navigation to down town sights.

The room was fine BUT IT DID NOT GET MAID SERVICE!!! I came back at 5:30pm to a DIRTY ROOM!!!!! Called front desk they could not do anything as "Housekeeping has already left" got a few towels.....at checkout it was mentioned again and was NOT offered anything but for the Manager to call me and figure out something to do....still waiting for a call back!!

We did not actually stay here as the room was so incredibly filthy. The toilet seat was broken, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, dust covering everything below knee level in the room, gunk all over the tv remote, stains on the sheets, food on the rug, clearly not even vacuumed. So disgusted we stayed somewhere else. Best part was the hotel staff didn't seem surprised when we told them about the condition of the room. Obviously they've heard it before. Will not recommend anyone stay here.

Rooms were very difficult to find for the weekend I was going to be in Nashville so I ended up booking a smoking room which I generally would not. The ladies at the front desk gave me a room which wasn't bad. There was a slight smoky odor but using the fan took care of that. The facility is an older motel Our room was clean but the rooms definitely need to be updated as well as the mattresses. The mattress was not very comfortable for a person with back issues. The 2 ladies we met in the breakfast room were both very friendly. The area was clean and the food and supplies were restocked and never empty. The front desk ladies were helpful when I had questions and also apologetic when my room was not cleaned. They provided fresh towels when I requested them. They answered questions that I had on the area. The hotel served our purpose for a short visit but I would not enjoy a longer stay there. The

Needs to be updated. Our room was clean but the carpet was thin and the cement floor was very rough. We had clean towels and supplies every day of our stay. The employees where all very nice and friendly.

Everything around was booked, so i paid way too much for this place. Its only worth about $50 per night. Its old, rundown, but fairly clean. The rooms smell, and the breakfast is the bare minimum.

Good location, but virtually missing internet connection..Checked with other guests.. It took sometimes even 20 minutes to gen on-line, and you cannot keep connection longer that a minute or two (!). I wish they simply say no internet.. I would not be trying at all:) Vending machines operate only on banknotes (return coins, but do not accept them).. some small annoying details like that...

We were locked out 3 times. Key had to be reprogrammed.. room wasnt cleaned ..no clean towels. Unable to get tickets for a concert like we were told on phone. Unable to use discount .we were put in back part. Front part of hotel was nicer

Would never stay here again, I killed some kind of bug along the shower. the shower had hair stuck to wall, the corner shelf for soap, hadn't been cleaned still had soap scum from previous guest, 3 "stink bugs: in the room, the sink spigot was dripping & had NO hot water, bed was like sleeping on cement.the lock on door was coming off, The pool was across the parking lot & attached to a bar, OMG bad, I went to the office, to change rooms, The manager didnt even know what rooms had new mattress!! Very old building, The best thing about this place was the Cracker Barrel, that was closer to walk to then the Free coffee in the office, which wasn't even open. Instead of trying to please us they lost 4 extra nights (and they had plenty of empty rooms)

Bathroom lights didn't work. I had a ice cold shower then a scolding one. Very old place for the money. Was really surprised it was so outdated. Room was dirty also.

For the location and the price you cannot beat the Fiddler's inn. The staff was very helpful, and the round trip shuttle to downtown Nashville for $10 is great.

this hotel has a good location. the staff was helpful and the bed was comfortable for one night. this is a "no frills" facility, if you are looking for luxury, go somewhere else. ground level room (which I requested) facing cracker barrel was a little noisy.

Yes rooms are outdated and carpet needs cleaned, but pros outweigh cons if you are going to enjoy Nashville for a night or two. Shuttle bus takes you downtown to Margaritaville and brings you back for an incredible rate. Breakfast isn't great, but it's a good snack and they have fresh coffee. Room provides a shower, bed and heating and air. All the important things for an overnight stay! If you are looking for 1st class, this isn't the place for you. If you want something cheap and you don't have to drive anywhere or take a cab, it's perfect! We'll stay here again.

Planned on check out right at 11:00 (check out time) the housekeeping people began knocking and even came in through locked door twice very frustrating they set their cart right outside the door and (stalked) us to leave I could not even get my hair dry before I left. The location was convenient. The price compared to surrounding hotels was good. The room and hotel in general are in decline. I had hard candy, a used plastic cup, and a shoe box left on the floor when I arrived and they were still there 6 days later. I don't think they own a vacuum. Although the price was right I expected at least to have a clean room absent of trash. Staff obviously does not take pride in their work. Get a new staff and you may have something.
