I really enjoyed staying at the Park Plaza - they offered a reasonable rate, were located almost across the street from Victoria Station, and just down the road from several excellent restaurants. The room itself (I went for the upgrade) was quiet, comfortable, and welcoming. My only complaint was the front desk. They appeared clueless from the checkin […] process until the checkout. How do I call another room? Not sure. Do you have the reservation for another member in the party? Hard to say. When will the room be ready? Can you check back? ... It just seemed that they were unprepared for the hospitality part of their job. That said, the hotel was quite perfect in all other respects. The hotel was great, except for the weather being unseasonably warm and the hotel cooling system was still in winter mode. (No AC) The only bad part of our stay had nothing to do with the hotel, they were tearing up Victoria Station for a remodel and it made things interesting trying to get going. The location is great. It's literally two blocks (max) from the London Victoria tube station / Victoria rail station / Victoria bus station. This means that if you're flying to Gatwick airport, you have easy access to the Gatwick express train (a short 30 minute ride for ~$28), easy access to taking day trips outside of London (train station), easy […] access to all of London (3 tube lines intersect at Victoria station!), and easy access to the bus station for day trips. Also, Victoria station is really in the heart of London - a short walk away from Buckingham palace and some of the main sites. The hotel itself is nice, especially for London standards! Like most London buildings, the building isn't the newest, but it's got everything you look for in a hotel room - mostly, a comfortable and CLEAN room. At least, that's what I look for. They provide FREE internet, which is nice. If you want faster service, it's only 5 pounds, which is a lot less than most hotels! So yes, I think it's a great find and I'd stay there again. Flying in to Gatwick and continuing through Heathrow can be a tough connection. We elected to fly in to Gatwick and then take the Gatwick Express to the Victoria Station. It was a very short walk to the Park Plaza Victoria where we stayed overnight. There are lots of places for dinner, including the Queen Arms Pub and many for breakfast close by as […] well. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are quite large for London. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only issue during the stay was the lack of air conditioning that time of the year. It was unseasonably warm and we could not get the room to cool down. I wish they would have warned us at check in not to turn the air on, because it just made things worse. The next day we were able to make a short walk back to Victoria Station and take the Tube, with one easy transfer to Heathrow. All in all a great hotel with a reasonable price and fantastic location. Some problems with a non-working room telephone at start of trip but this was soon sorted out. Very helpful staff, and in particular the lady at the reception - Justyna, who allowed me a late check-out and full use of the gym and shower facilties before making my way to Heathrow for an overnight flight: nice touch. Will be back at this hotel.

Long bathtub, nice rooms. VERY close to Victoria tube to get around while probably being a good locale for business; I was hoping to be near more of city activity. Good quiet area and friendly staff.

Very reasonable price for this high quality hotel. Staff on check in was great. I had requested an early check in and my room was ready when I arrived at 11 am. Location is fantastic - walk to everything. Lots of nice restaurants within a couple blocks. Concierge (Denny) was extremely helpful.

The location of this hotel was perfect! We were able to walk to several of London's famous attractions. We also took a tour of the city on a bus which we were able to board just 2 blocks away. The rooms were very comfortable and large with a nice size closet, mini fridge, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to London who want to walk to all the sites. The location of Park Plaza Victoria is excellent. You are close to everything. It's close to Victoria Station, Westminster Abbey, Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, also Sainsbury's supermarket. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. After staying in a loud university dorm room for most of the week, I found this room pleasantly quiet and spacious. The room and hotel were comfortable and clean, and reminded me very much of high-end American hotels. My room even had a standard USA 120 volt AC socket. This would be a great base for exploring London.

The hotel was very nice and the location was perfect - situated only blocks from Buckingham Palace and just around the corner from the Victoria Station. Our only issues were with appliances that didn't work...but the hotel was quick to remedy the issues.

Nice hotel, convenient location, helpful concierge. Unfortunately the in-room internet connection was blocked, and the front desk was not able to help.

We had a great time at this Hotel and thej staff were the most helpful. Made our trip a delight. Great location and so neat transportation to anywhere in city. Would stay there again without hesitation.

This hotel was not bad for the price but they drop the ball when it comes to maintenance. The carpets need to be cleaned or replaced, The air conditioning in our room did not work. There was no bellman to assist with luggage. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

The room was very clean, updated, and was a great size for a large European city. It is located a short walk from Victoria Station and is not too far from attractions. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and the concierge staff was excellent!! I would highly recommend!

This was a good hotel and was located right in the center of everything. It's a 5 minute walk to Buckingham Palace one way and a 10 minute walk to Westminster Abbey the other way.

On a quiet street 2 blocks from Victoria Station, with a good sprinkling of restaurants, you are blocks from Buckingham Palace and via the Tube everything else in London. Modern hotel has it all, including favorable rates given London's overall high prices. Strongly recommend, including for families.

The dates were wrong so I paid for two nights and only got to use one. We were happy with the hotel and would like to stay there again.

This was a very decent hotel, with modern rooms and amenities. Great location right next to victoria station, though if you're a very light sleeper (like myself) you might need earplugs to muffle the seemingly constant sirens in surrounding streets. The light switches had been installed in reverse so that if you flipped on the right side nightlight, it lit up the left side, and visa-versa. Park Plaza is centrally located. A short walking distance from Victoria Station (underground) and Victoria Station Coach (National Express). Apollo Theatre is also within short walking distance. The concierge was extremely helpful. This was our first visit to London and he provided us with many helpful tips in getting around the city. The hotel is very close to the Victoria main station and has good access to both the underground and the Gatwick express. It's a little tricky to find the first time but it is just one block from the back entrance to the station. Righ where the main Information office is. The hotel was everything I could have expected. For the location (Westminster, London), the price is the best available. Of note, it takes about 50 minutes to get from Heathrow Airport to the Victoria tube station via the Underground. The Victoria station is literally just 100 feet away from the from entrance to the hotel. The hotel was clean, fashionable […] and well situated just steps away from the Victoria tube station, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Harrod's & fantastic shopping and nightlife. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. I was on business and the concierge went out of his way to photocopy, scan and print several important documents for me with almost no notice. For anyone who's ever been to London, you know the importance of being in close proximity to the Underground (subway). A few tips for new travelers...1) do not use the room phone to make long distance calls (never, ever, ever) and 2) if you're on a budget, don't eat your meals in the hotel; they are literally hundreds of delicious and more economic choices within a square mile. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. From a tourist's standpoint, the area is clean, safe and lively at all hours. Read more

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my two children as I wanted to visit London and wanted a nice hotel in a convenient location. This hotel is 2 mins walk to Victoria train station and 4 doors away from the Apollo theatre. Breakfast was gorgeous and lovely friendly staff. The room was lovely. Would def stay here again.

This is a nice hotel with an excellent and helpful staff. It's well located, the rooms are spacious, and the hotel restaurant is good. The furnishings are somewhat old, and the linens and carpets on our floor were tattered, but everything was 'serviceable.' The only real negative with this hotel was the lack of a business center with a computer for […] guests to use to check travel arrangements, etc. I believe that this was temporary, but travelers may want to check before heading there without a laptop. The Location of this hotel was perfect. Easy access to buses and Underground. My mistake for taking a taxi to the Hotel form Victoria Station. It was only one block and walking distance away (don't get caught like me). I was able to enter my room earlier than expected. The Carnival was great.
