Home to some of London's most famous institutions —the Houses of Parliament (Big Ben), Westminster Abbey, and Tate Britain— Westminster is busy by day and quiet by night. Buckingham Palace is located across lovely St. James's Park; Whitehall leads to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, passing 10 Downing Street and the Queen's mounted troops at Horse Guards on the way. The streets around Victoria Station offer hotels to suit all budgets.

This is a very nice hotel which just lacks a bit of attention to detail. We had booked an executive room and had to remind the desk several times as we lacked many of the extra amenities meant to go with this status. Also the access to the free executive lounge not up to much. However we had breakfast included which was an excellent deal, all staff were very polite and the room was very comfortable and the hotel fairly quiet for London. Also this is a great area to be based in as so convenient and feels safe.

I booked this hotel to ensure I was nearby to a couple of clients located near Victoria station. Overall I was very happy with my stay and will use the Park Plaza again for my next business trip. The room was large and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently situated for Victoria station and other attractions such as the London Eye, HoP and Buckingham Palace. Although on a business trip I'd consider this hotel for a leisure break too.

The reception was good, however, a triple room had been booked but the additional bed was not in place. This was eventually delivered but we had to ask for a third mug. The room and facilities were good but the inside of the mini-bar was very dusty. Staff are possibly scared to touch it in case it registers as someone using the contents. The plug in the bathroom was faulty and had to be removed to empty the basin. The bedside table drawer containing the bible would not open and the bedside lights were a treat - the left side switch activated the right hand side light. We loved the art especially the word conundrum. Very conveniently situated to Victoria station.

Any problems that we had were not the fault of the hotel. There were things about the electrical system, the food, tha accents, etc. that we were not accustomed to. Being near the Victoria Station was a plus for sure as they had more normal food. People working at the hotel were very pleasent and knowledgeable. We just had problems with communication because we are very southern Americans!

The hotel was great to stay and the staff were very courteous. Overall there were no problems and I would definitely recommend this hotel for people going to watch the Wicked West End musical as it only a 2-3 minute walk away from the theatre. In addition, there are some really good restaurants located nearby, creating the perfect evening without the use of public transport. The only downside is that it costs to use the WiFi, which I think in this day and age should be free considering the price paid for hotels.

A very pleasant stay in a very convenient location for our purpose. Reception was very good. Our room was ready for an early check in with only a short wait. Our Executive level room was clean and very large for a London hotel. The breakfast in the Executive room was quite good. The room was extremely quiet for a large city hotel. Two small complaints-- access to the executive lounge was very difficult. The lock was broken and no keys worked. In our room the only electric outlets were no where near a mirror. This did not please my wife. She had difficulty doing her hair!

This was a great location and we walked to Buckingham Palace and many, many other sites! Very close to Victoria station which is convenient for picking up tours, etc. We had Executive rooms so full "English Breakfast" was included and it was very good! Also enjoyed complimentary refreshments (beer, wine, soft drinks,appetizers,etc..) in the late afternoon. We had five people so we needed two rooms and payed an extra person fee which was very expensive but pretty comparable by European standards. Hotel staff was polite, helpful and accommodating. Didn't need a converter plug-in which was nice. The hall carpeting could be cleaned and we weren't real fond of the artwork throughout the hotel but would definitely recoommend this hotel.

There was a row of taxi cabs right on the street if you needed one. The hop on bus tour and public buses were a 5 min walk. We had no trouble getting around. The hotel itself was in a nice area - the room was small but clean. Lots of pubs and breakfast places to eat. The exec room included a free breakfast and a 6-8 coctail hour. On a quick overnight trip to London, I wanted a hotel close to Victoria station that was confortable. This hotel was 2 minutes walk from the station and I wasn't disturbed by any noise whatsoever. The staff were very helpful at reception, and the guest relations manager was very helpful with the one or two requests that I had. Their credit card system was causing troublesome, but this seems to be the case more and more as banks roll out new security measures. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. Normally meals alone are not so enjoyable but the great food more that made up for it. The hotel at breakfast was full, so clearly many people staying there at the weekend prefer to explore London and eat elsewhere.
