The hotel is conveniently located close to the downtown Toronto airport. I think if the weather had been nicer and we didn't have as much luggage, it would have been possible to walk from the airport to the hotel (how often can one say that!) There is alot of construction outside the hotel, so it was tough to find it by car and it was also hard getting a cab later that day. Patience is necessary. The hotel staff was cold and brusque, not accommodating at all. They refused a one-hour late checkout. Also, we asked for a double room, but was given a king because there were no more doubles available. Though the room was an upgrade to a corner "suite," it was still inconvenient. The room itself was lovely. Huge bathroom, clean, comfortable, spacious. We would go back there again, particularly when the weather is nicer and we can explore the harborfront area (there is a shopping mall down the street that looked really nice with restaurants and a supermarket).

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Discreet service. Premises seem well maintained. Parking lot felt a little crowded, though - perhaps it should be a bit bigger given the size of the hotel.

I was welcomed and attended to, with a bright smile at the front desk. My room had a great layout. It was very clean, neat and professionally taken care of. The restaurant and bar located within the hotel provided great service and they were very comfortable. I look forward to staying again when I visit Toronto again.

"Black Keys concert stay"
We wanted a hotel that was close to the Clarkson Go station as we were attending a concert. We have stayed at a different location but were not impressed. The hotel looked newer, was clean, bright, open and the room was basic but spacious. We appreciated being informed that the douvet cover is also laundered after each guest leaves and the white bedding made it easy to check cleanliness. I visited Toronto for a couple of days along with my family, and I was surprised that, for the price I paid, I god such a nice service. The room was comfortable, with a view to the parking. Overall was pleased, and have used the hotel several times. Well priced, convenient, very clean. "What happened to this place?"
We used to stay here regularly and with pleasure. Our last stay, however, was our last. We stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas holidays, and were booked into a horrible little room that turned out to be the wing in which they book young hockey players and their families. Basically, in one of the rooms with the worst mattresses and locations in the […] building. We found that out the hard way one night when we returned, tired, to find 2 dozen rugrats playing hockey in the hallway. They would barely move to let us pass and get to our room! We had to call down to the front desk numerous times to complain and ask that something be done to clear the hallway. It took 30 minutes for the banging, shouting and general disturbance to stop, and this was well after 10 pm! In addition, we ran out of toilet paper at one point, and when we asked for more, they grudgingly gave us on roll. We had to press for a 2nd. They seemingly guard their cheap 2-ply toilet paper quite jealously. Can't understand why. Further, the water in the pool was icy. The hottub had so many chemicals in it that once the jets were turned on and the chemicals airborne, we coughed and coughed. Relaxing was impossible! Only with the jets off was it pleasant to sit in the heated tub, but it wasn't much of a hottub experience then. Rather more like soaking in a very hot bath. This was disappointing. Also, on every single occasion, there were NO towels in the pool area. Most times, I made a point of going to the front desk to ask that some be delivered, but once or twice, we got into the pool and were soaking wet before we noticed the absence of towels again. Having nothing to dry ourselves with made the walk to the front desk cold and unpleasant. Finally, the morning after the incident with the kids, the treadmills stopped working.
