The hotel pictured on hotels.com was not the actual hotel so it was hard to find since it looked differant. We asked for a cot and were told they did not have cots. When we showed them the web said they did have cots they offered us an air mattress. We accepted that and then received a call saying we would have to change rooms. When we got to the new […] room there was a cot...hmmm. The toilet would not stop running so we had to take the top off and pull the bulb up every time we used it. The staff was nice friendly and very helpful. Lost my breakfast voucher and the front desk woman didn't even hesitate and replaced it without question. Stayed her for 3 nights in January 2013. Shuttle runs to village till 10PM. Bar/restaurant/hotub/suana on premises. The place is a little outdated but they keep it clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is decent but got tired of eating the same thing everyday.

Exactly what you think it will be. Nice little ski lodge with an amazing location at the base of Stratton mountain. Rooms are a good size, bathrooms are decent. Bentleys the restaurant located in the hotel is pretty good, service was a little slow but nothing terrible. All in all a good place to stay for a weekend of skiing, will stay again.

Based on the description of Stratton Mountain Resort, we expected to find indoor swimming pools, ski-in/ski-out access, and a sofa bed in the room. However, none of that was available at this inn. My only real complaint was that the bathroom was in pretty rough condition. No working fan, the door wouldn't stay open, the shower made this terrible hissing noise. The rest of the room was fine. It is just hard to beat the accessibility of this inn to the Stratton Ski Area. Shuttles every 5 minutes, take you straight to the base lodge. Put on your boots and hit the slopes! The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is unimaginative (no waffle-maker!) but hot and plentiful!

But the convenience of a full kitchen fabulous view and fireplace outweighed the fact that the condo hasnt been touched since 1994. The staff was pleasant enough and the place was clean, but the room was in major need of repair. The bathroom ceiling was mildew from lack of an exhaust fan and the mattresses were atrocious!
