Very convenient location. Located on the boardwalk. Wonderful indoor and outdoor pool (Closes at 11pm). Great 24hr cafe for late night snacking. They could use more staff at the front desk. They ONLY had 1 person and the line had over 5 people checking in.. very slow.... THIS IS A COMPLETELY NON- SMOKING HOTEL. Not even on the open-air balcony... We arrived at the hotel at 11:49am and check in wasn't until 4pm. I gave it a shot and asked if we could check in and early and they let us!!! It was so nice of them and after a long drive we were glad to be able to get into our room!

Overall, it's good, nothing out or ordinary. Right on the boardwalk but a bit far from where the fun is (10 street and lower). Had a really noisy night because the ballroom was right across my room on the 4th floor and people danced late into the night.

Most things were very, very, positive. However, I give the quality of hotel service a 4 because upon arrival and departure there were no baggage carts available and had to wait a lengthly time for a cart. The room was very clean, however I found the floor less comfortable than carpet. It must be hard to get the sand up off that floor. Also the comfort […] of the room was disturbed with folks outside in the hallway arguing at 2-3 am. I think your "no smoking" contract should be complimented with a "quiet" contract after 12 midnight. With that being said, I would return to the Grand Hotel & Spa. It is beautiful! Was great we have been here many times lean hotel, indoor and outdoor pool, right off boardwalk , great parking garage for the car show, friendly staff, bar in hotel all around perfect place the only thing that would make it better is if was even further down the boardwalk but we love it here we will be back for sure

The room we stayed in is due for some upgrades. Even though you don't visit OC to stay in, the TV was not high-def, the deck furniture was just a couple of cheap plastic chairs, and there was a lot of empty space that could have been used for a recliner or a bigger desk, etc. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom, it looked like a hospital bathroom. […] There was no counter space to store stuff and no separate vanity outside either. The hotel was nice enough. I thought I was splurging and getting a great hotel when it was just ok. It was my boyfriends birthday and I decided to go for the extra $ a night compared to some other places I saw for cheaper. The rooms were clean and spacious with a little kitchenette. It was off season, so maybe that's why our balcony was covered in sand. […] But for the extra price it kind of seemed lack luster. The local menus book and the amenities book in the room seemed very out of date. I learned more about where to eat from Yelp. I will probably not stay here again. The rooms were horrible. They say they are renovating from the top down and only on level 10 of 12. Our room was on the 2nd floor and horrible. I have seen better motel 6's. Walls were water damaged, patio floors moved, ceiling was failing down; even the lobby was in bad shape. Basically anything that could be broke or damaged was. we stayed here for two days. They should have told us about maintenance work being done on the roof. It made lot of noise starting 7am in the morning. I did not want to wake up at 7 during my vacation. Also, they should have asked our cars to be removed from the nearby parking lot. It was all covered with dust when we left.

Our room was nice. We stayed on the 5th floor but some of our golf group stayed on the 11th floor (12th floor was the top floor) and had to vacate their rooms after a major water leak after a heavy rain storm. Stay on the lower floors! Overall stay was very good. Staff was very accommodating.

Hotel was comfortable but dated. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and well stocked but not well sound-proofed Love the beachfront location. Great view. I'd recommend this hotel and a good OC option and I would stay here again.

We stayed two nights over the weekend. Being the off season, there were not too many hotel guests. We knew they had a pet friendly floor and the hotel was doing some renovating as well. We asked not to be on the pet floor or to be disturbed by the construction. 1st night we were awakened by a pounding sound above us that lasted all night long. The Grand Hotel needs significant renovation as the rooms look like they are stuck in the 90's, dull colors, furiniture is worn out. The balcony sliding glass door was so cloudy that you could not see outside to the ocean. The hotel is right on the beach and it would have been a beautiful ocean vista if the glass had not been obstructed. Indoor pool […] needs renovation too. Staff were friendly. Rooms were basically clean. Obvoiusly, the owner/management have not taken care of the facility and it has run down, what a shame because the location is great. If they remodel, it would be nice. We have stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean but slightly dated. Bed was very comfortable. Has ocean view from every room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located directly on the boardwalk.

We enjoyed the hotel. Conveniently located and there are a lot of services in the hotel itself. We were in Ocean City in January, so many businesses were closed for the season, but the Grand Hotel was nice so we didn't miss the other businesses. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff was very efficient and courteous.

Although it is winter we had a great time. It was my youngests 15th birthday, so there were two of her friends, big sis and myself. We booked a room on the ocean. This was so nice. It was snowing on our ride there and when we got to the hotel room the first thing I did was go out on the balcony. So beautiful. The lights on the snow amplified the appearance. […] We love OC on the off season. Less traffic, less people, no waiting. The Hotel was really great. All of the staff were very accomodating with our extra needs of towels, cleanups, or what ever. The staff was also very happy and pleasant and you can tell they actually like their jobs. It is also convenient that there is a pool, game room, boutique for shopping, a small eatery, a pizza place, and a bar. There is still plenty to do on the off season at the beach. the hotel it self is very nice, love the 24 hour coffee shop, it was clean on arrival, but I found that the 3 days we were there the bath tub was never cleaned, the mirror not cleaned, and the room was not vacuumed, I think all that was done was the bed was made. if not for this I would give the hotel very satisfied.
