Palazzo Magnani Feroni, All-Suites - Florence

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. A perfect location to walk to the sights, great restaurants on the same street and a great rooftop terrace with a view of Florence that can't even be topped by climbing the 414 steps of the Campinile.

We only stayed there one night and got a spacious two bedroom suite. We did not use any of the amenities in the suite - kitchen, dining area. The liviing room and the two bedrooms were spacious and warm (it was January). Quick note - when we checked in, the desk clerk said the breakfast (which was WONDERFUL) was complimentary. When we checkout out there […] was a bill for two breakfasts for 50 Euros or about $70 dollars. Had I known the breakfast would cost $70 I would have gotten breakfast elsewhere. Read more

Fabulous hotel -- very luxurious suite, loved the rooftop bar, nearby restaurants were excellent. the hotel had technology issues -- phone in room and DVD player didn't work, hot water was iffy. You can feel the history in the building, and the elevator was superquaint! One of the most important qualities in a hotel -- the staff -- was superb!!!

The location of the palace is great, and is not in the main tourist area of Florence. This was exactly what we were looking for, however I know some travelers prefer different. Fantastic former palace with beautiful old antique furnishings, and lovely staff. The only thing was that the wifi wasn't working, I asked them to look at it but didn't fix it. The router wasn't actually plugged in and there were not enough sockets...but overall smashing, close to all attractions and some great restaurants along the same street.

The palace is redecorated with modern plumbing and fixtures yet has kept grand proportions in the rooms and halls. There are many original pieces of art and sculpture throughout the halls and rooms.
