"Elegant and majestic experience."
We stayed at 4 hotels throughout Italy over a 10 day period and this was by far our favorite. The rooms were tremendous as well as beautifully appointed. It is truly like living in a palace. The neighborhood was wonderful, just over the Arno but off the beaten path. We could walk to all the major sites, but the best part was the small restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The views from the rooftop were spectacular. The staff at the hotel was exceptional, providing us with many wonderful suggestions for dining. The breakfast was superb, offering an extensive selection of treats. We were very sorry to leave.

"Quintessential Florentine Elegance - Exceptional!"
From the dramatic elegance of the lobby, to the gracious professionalism of the staff, to the splendid, candle-lit breakfast with majestic opera softly playing in the background, Palazzo Magnani Feroni will make you feel as though you couldn't possibly have done better in your choice of hotel. From the numerous ancient splendors of the building itself, complete with old-fashioned, open-gatework elevator, to modern conveniences including free WiFi, a printer and laptop in the lobby, and fabulous fresh fruit and coffee when the moment demands, Palazzo Magnani Feroni is the very definition of Florentine splendor, and gracious, personalized service. Quick greatest hits: they will help you find the right restaurant for any mood or appetite, and will get you in if they can, you will enjoy exquisite milk chocolates packaged and left on the pillow each night, charming and eclectic selection of in-room reading material (I finished a novel in the week I was there), stunning collection of antique prints on the walls, fabulous wines to enjoy by the glass or bottle, on offer in the lobby every night, lavish toiletries, linens, and soaps, and the sounds of cooing doves and echoing church bells if you leave your window open when you take an afternoon nap. We checked out yesterday and I'm missing it terribly already. In short: stay here. They will take care of you, and you will enjoy the splendor of a truly exceptional hotel.

"Truly one of the best Luxurious Hotels Ever"
Just returned from a 2 week trip to Europe and we had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in this magnificent Luxury Hotel. Everything during our stay was 5 Star Quality , and we were made to feel very special in every way. The Staff were very Professional, accommodating and insured that we were treated well and our every need was met. The Morning Breakfast was fit for a King. The Buffet had about anything that any person could ever desire. The server always wore white gloves while serving which added to the special feel while dining there. We really hated to leave , as the Room was very clean, beautiful, comfortable and met every need we could ever imagine. The large Bath was very special. The Hotel was very close to all of the historical sights and Museums. We walked the entire time we were there, and had no difficulties. We look forward to returning to Florence again soon and of course, we will utilize the Palazzo Magnani Feroni Hotel once again for our Stay. I can't recommend enough that you stay here during your time in Florence. Like us, You will be certainly glad you did.

"MAGNIFIQUE!!!!"
this grandiose hotel was above all our expectations...This medieval Palazzo is located a few minutes walk from the famous Ponte Vecchio and all the major points of interest. Every staff member like the front desk are so devoted to make your stay memorable that you are ready to hug them for the time they spend with you giving you all information to enjoy the city at its best. We trusted them for every booking (museums, restaurants....) and were always very happy. They all speak perfect English and are a real source of precious knowledge. Housekeeping, breakfast room and the rest of the employees are absolutely impeccable and always courteous and ready to help. Florence is a city you have to visit at least once in a life time . we have been there several times and do enjoy it a lot for its culture, its mysterious beauty, its wonderful light, and if you like shopping...it is at par with Rome and Venice. Also enjoyed the great breakfast buffet will allow you to start the day in a good mood.

"Wonderful hotel & made our honeymoon beautiful!"
From check in to check out this hotel is amazing. This is the part of florence you want to stay in, its quiet here and a 5 minute walk from all the busyness of florence. When you walk out of the hotel its a quiet street. Some of the other hotels when you walk out of the front door you feel as if your spit into a busy intersection. The front desk staff were amazing at this hotel. They made my wife and I honeymoon one to remember for our lifetime. We even had a problem with a tour we booked on Expedia and the front desk staff was great enough to sit with us and translate to Italian speaking tour company the issue. The front desk truly are the most helpful polite people and should all be models for how a hotel staff should act. The hotel is immaculate, cleaning staff does a great job. It is quite a beautiful palace. If your looking for new and trendy this isn't the spot for you. It had that original palace feel to it. Our first night we were tired from jet lag and the room service lunch was amazing. We booked a suite so the room was huge. The roof top is so beautiful and they even have a billiards rooms. My favorite part was the room service/Porter Donald. He was a real gentle man and was such a help. Also Chaminda. Look out for these two in the hotel, they will make sure your stay is amazing and they are so polite. Overall we've decided that we are staying at this hotel again in a few years when we come back to florence. Thank you to everyone at the hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and full of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a card in our suite every evening telling us the weather for the next day. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious. They will also prepare other things, such as omelets, upon request. There is a rooftop terrace which has beautiful views of the city. Everything was wonderful. Well worth the money. I would definitely choose Palazzo Magnani Feroni for my stay again.

The hotel was one of the best experience I had traveling. The service was impeccable. "Truly Satisfying"
Unquestionable one of the most beautiful hotels in Florence. The rooms have an old quiet charm but they are huge with plenty of space for a family. Stayed with two couples and while there was only one bathroom, the bedrooms were separated by a huge kitchen/dining room and living room. The staff were incredible for the entire trip, accommodating our parking after we had already checked out of the hotel and providing general guidance on the city. The most incredible part of this hotel is the rooftop bar which gives views over the whole of Florence. While the bar only officially opens at 6pm, you are welcome to take food and drinks up there during other hours and you will not be disappointed. While we had plans to explore a lot more of the city, the view and comfort of this rooftop kept us at the hotel for most of the day. In addition the breakfasts are amazing and the location across the rivers ensures that it isn't too noisy. I would recommend this hotel to both couples and families.

"A Palatial Sanctuary but our stay was spoiled"
Our stay at the Palazzo started wonderfully with wonderful rooms and great service - unfortunately this all changed when my wife had her purse stolen while out for the evening loosing all our credit cards. On hearing of our situation the hotel staff became very aggressive in their questioning of how we were going to pay and insisting on knowing our fall back plans if our primary payment option should not work. This repeated questioning and late night follow up calls to our room made us feel like victims all over again. I don't know if they had been scammed in the past but they had no sympathy and behaved very aggressively towards us - very disappointing for a hotel of this class.

We loved staying at this historical palace in a lovely area just minutes on foot from the hustle and bustle of the tourist section of Florence. "A gem in Florence!!"
Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and that includes Ritz and Four Seasons. We were in Florence with one of our adult children and most hotels either give you a sofabed, a lumpy cot, or you have to get another room. We had a enormous suite (with 15 foot ceilings) where the "living room" was literally the size of our living room at home...with very comfortable seating. Both bedrooms had king beds and both bathrooms were very modern and functional (Master bath had separate bath and shower units...separate WC area as well...2 sinks) The included breakfast was magnificent as well as the rooftop deck was truly stunning. We sat up there one evening, bought a 22 euro bottle of wine and it came with cheeses and meats etc as appetizers (free). A "neighbor" guest told us that they couldn't get dinner reservations one evening, so they had 'room service" delivered to the roof deck and it was one of the best meals they had in Florence (and the setting is amazing). This hotel is across the river from many of the main tourist areas (Duomo etc.) but we could walk to virtually all of the sites, and taxis were prompt if we dined further away. An added bonus is that the streets are much quitter on that side of the river, so when you do want to sleep, you can...even with the windows open which I like to do. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

"The Best Kept Secret!"
The hotel has 12 suites....and they were completely filled during our visit last week. The rooms are lovely....but if you are looking for something modern...this is not the place for you! The family antiques, paintings and furnishings are throughout the hotel. It is very romantic and adds to your experience in Florence. The hotel has a roof terrace...if you have Emmanuel there...you are in great hands. The sunsets are spectacular from the terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and would highly recommend the hotel to our families and friends.

We loved the location on the South side of the Arno - less congested. The hotel is spectacular, preserved with antiques yet all the modern conveniences. The breakfast is elegant . My husband and son loved the rooftop terrace for an after dinner drink. The bartender was fascinating! Not to be missed if you love and appreciate old time charm. The one negative (which we found all over Italy), the showers are SMALL. Not built for 6'4" men!

"Palatial Family Rooms"
This all-suites palace hotel was ideal for our family of six. We stayed in the Lucretia and Vittoria suites that are connected with an entryway that can be closed off from the rest of the hotel for privacy. The terrace on top of the hotel is higher than all surrounding buildings except for the churches and has spectacular views of Florence (a little chilly when we were there during Spring Break, but scenic nonetheless). The hotel receptionist was very helpful and let us keep our rental van in the garage until we finished our ArtViva walking tour in the late afternoon. She also arranged for a private dining area in a great restaurant, the Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco (White Boar), which is down the street from the hotel in an atmospheric area of the city.

We only stayed there one night and got a spacious two bedroom suite. We did not use any of the amenities in the suite - kitchen, dining area. The liviing room and the two bedrooms were spacious and warm (it was January). Quick note - when we checked in, the desk clerk said the breakfast (which was WONDERFUL) was complimentary. When we checkout out there was a bill for two breakfasts for 50 Euros or about $70 dollars. Had I known the breakfast would cost $70 I would have gotten breakfast elsewhere.

"Wonderful Hotel"
This hotel is full of character and history, it even has the original lift...Staff are wonderful and made our stay really enjoyable...the breakfast room with glass chandelier is truly magnificent, not to mention the extensive choice of breakfast items (inc. eggs bacon & sausage) and the views from the roof top terrace are stunning, overlooking the city. The room we was allocated was fantastic with separate sitting area that walked out to the downstairs courtyard. Our stay was made extra special when we had a cake presented to me to help celebrate my birthday...nothing was too much trouble! The owner even supplies his own wine, which should definitely be tried...highly recommended and a very reasonable price. It even has a billiard room, which we took full advantage of....loved every minute of our stay and would not hesitate to book again when in Florence.

We felt like a million dollars staying here. It is heart stoppingly beautiful. Our suite was huge, infact we got a whole other room that we weren't expecting! As it had a kitchen, dining room and fridge it would have been nice if we could have had the facility to make hot drinks, as everything had been disconnected, I'm not sure what this space offered. We think that to make it a working kitchen would be a good idea, or if not, add another bathroom. The staff were so very polite and helpful. The roof terrace was amazing, breakfast good and we liked that the hotel was very intimate and private. Wish all hotels were like this!

Only 20 minutes from the airport by taxi (25 euros standard fee. We did not pre book. Plenty of taxis awaiting). Like the rest of Florence central the hotel is 'shabby chic'. We stayed in the family suite ( 2 bedrooms a living room and a kitchen (you would have to bring all you ustensils plates... if you wanted to cook) which made it cheaper than 2 individual bedrooms in other hotels. I cannot comment about the single rooms but our suite was comfortable. The decor was in keeping with the hotel. If you want hip/modern this is not for you. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is 1 minute away from a trattoria and a good gelato ( Don't go to the ones in the center which have a lot of different flavours and look like mountains (they will be full of chemicals and air) . We were recommended a typical tuscan trattoria and restaurant (if you are a big meat eater you will love it (at a pice). The only negative thing I would say which I imagine you will find anywhere else in Florence is the outside noise.

"Superb hotel - treated like royalty"
We had an unforgettable stay in this incredible city. Palazzo Magnani Feroni really was the cherry on the cake. Its historic building and decor throughout is truly magical and was the perfect place to return to at the end of a day exploring the culture of Tuscany. Our room was amazing. It was very large and was very tastefully and comfortably decorated. With only 12 rooms, we hardly saw any other guests and it really felt more like a home than a hotel. Breakfast is included in the cost and had lots of choice, including cooked items to order and sparkling wine!!! The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, whether it was arranging tickets or trips or simply offering shopping advice. The price of the stay was amazing, and we found ourselves wondering every day how they could possibly afford what they offer for the cost. I can't recommend this hotel strongly enough and we are already planning our next stay (which can't come soon enough!).

The Palazzo is beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly. I've stayed in quite a few 5* hotels with my work and this is not typical. Most of those that I have stayed in have a sanitised clinical feel to them. Polite staff but not those that will engage with you. As I found out whilst staying there, Palazzo Magnani Feroni was a family residence until just after the turn of the millennium. It still has that sort of feel about it: The rooms are individual and unique and there is cosy and warm sense that you are staying more in somebody's abundant home rather than a 5* hotel. The staff are very polite and respectful but give them half a chance and they will engage with you in the most friendly and accommodating way; happy to give suggestions about typical Florentine cocktails, drinks and food, where to visit and for me, help with my faltering Italian. We loved this place and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Florence/Firenze.
