Check in process was painless, parking was a problem at weekends (had to park on street "first come first served" per reception). Room was comfortable but bathroom was tiny. Very nice restaurant and bar.

I've stayed at The Burlington several times over the last few years. It's a nice hotel - clean and well maintained with a friendly and helpful staff - good hot water pressure, comfy towels, nice linens - decent food with service in the lobby itself, and an excellent location. The issue here is that the hotel is dated. Nothing is really wrong - it's […] just lackluster - and the furnishings appear caught in one of those time-warps where the artifacts are neither old enough to feel kitsch - nor current enough to feel contemporary. Also, the gym/fitness area is just plain lousy - a bare bones cramped space - from the days before hotels took personal fitness seriously. If you can get this hotel for a very low rate - and this often is the case - book it - because it is worth it and a great way to save some cash on a visit to Dublin - but once the rates climb to the level of other luxury hotels in the area - stay somewhere else - because there are several choices in town that are much better. It was a great stay. The people were nice and the surrounding neighborhood was quite. There is also a fantastic small dinning place "the Canal Bank" near the hotel.

The facilities were very nice and the hotel well kept. A personal email from the hotels internet booking manager made promises the front desk couldn't keep, but that should not reflect back on the good work of the folks in the trenches. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

This hotel was a bit out of the way. A lot of groups staying there. Great front desk staff. Room service never answered despite several calls. TV channels were mostly fuzzy. Close to Air Coach stop making it easy to get to and from Airport.

Pleasant, comfortable, clean hotel with very courteous staff. The hotel is within walking distance of great sites and pubs in Dublin. On the downside, I dislike the policy of charging for parking and internet usage, where I get these services free elsewhere-- it cheapens what is otherwise a great hotel.

I thought it was pricey for the general condition of the hotel. However the staff was very accommodating . I had stayed there many years before and it was all brand new. I do not believe it was kept up accordingly.

The hotel was very nice. Our room had three beds and although a bit small was very comfortable. The location was very convenient to many attractions in Dublin. The bus service was just outside the front door but we could just as easily walk to St. Stephen's Green and Grafton St. The staff were very helpful.

We definitely overpaid for our rooms because there was a big event on, but in general I would recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient - close to everything but not so close that you are surrounded by tourist traps. Good bars and restaurants close by. The room needed to be dusted and the carpets were definitely wearing in the hallways; however, the bathroom was quite clean and the sheets felt very good, fresh and clean. This hotel is a good value for Dublin and is located in a safe area--the embassy area.

For the amount of money per night, rather disappointing. Check-in staff unhelpful. Room clean, but unbearably hot. Was told to open the window which only tilts a mere 4 inches inward.

Hotel was OK, but my heat went out and they brought in a space heater. I thought it was temporary and they would come in and fix the thermostat. Never came back! Should have packed my sleeping bag and an extra pair of wool socks!!

We stayed at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin for a week while attending a conference. Our room had been newly renovated and was quite nice with all the necessary attributes. I gave the hotel a '3' for condition because some of the rooms that others in our group were in had not been renovated. The hotel had very good meeting space for our group of almost […] 200 people and provided us with tasty lunches and a nice banquet dinner. The hotel is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the very center of Dublin in a lovely residential area. This was not a 4 star hotel, as advertised. Our room was not air conditioned, however we did receive a small fan when we requested one. Even though temperatures were mild, our 7th floor room got very stuffy with a west window that only cracked open at the top by tilting in. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Hair dryer would not stay on unless you held […] the button continuously. Apparently the 6th floor was much nicer, perhaps the 6th floor was '4 star', but they also wanted a lot more euros to stay on that floor. For the price, don't expect resort quality as a 4 star would give in the states. Read more

The hotel is handy for town but in good neighbourhood, near an excellent pub. Suitable for single travellers as bar food is excellent and you are made welcome when dining alone. Computers in business centre need upgrade for those without laptops or I macs. Parking is free. Overall very suitable for business use but not a place for children.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was fine. Maybe a little "tired" but clean and comfortable. We were facing the front and the street but there was not much audible street noise. The hotel was quiet inside and we had no problems sleeping. The hotel staff was accomodating. We switched rooms from one equipped for a wheelchair to a regular room […] without any problem. The double bed was very small. The internet access was not great. It cost 2 euros for 15 minutes and the computer ran very slowly. Great location for going downtown. Read more

When we booked, we asked for early check-in, knowing that we would be arriving after overnight transatlantic flight with little sleep. Hotel advised during booking […] that they were fully booked on the evening before, and may not be able to accommodate. Upon arrival, we had to wait for several hours.
