Everything was great. The room was ready before check in time, the breakfast in the morning was hot and tasty, we were able to check out a little late so we could let our children swim a little longer. The only drawback was the elevator breaking down and over 1/2 of the games were out of order.

Breakfast adequate, did not like paper cups for coffee. We only had 4 paper cups for water and coffee. Room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Nicely decorated. Wireless Internet great. Gave us 2 free cocktail coupons for next door lounge.

I was a great hotel, however we were misled by the photos. I thought I was bookindg a Jacuzzi sweet for the price, turns out it was just a standard king room. Don't get me wrong, it was clean, in a great location, I was just a little mis-led.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly breakfast area was small but kept well stocked (go down early to avoid crowds). Bed was comfortable,plenty of hot water for jacuzzi tub and showers. CLEAN! Pool and hot tub were fun.Steakhouse down the road called the "Crazy Horse" was a great choice for dinner!

Great hotel. The price was a little high but probably worth it. Not a single issue with my stay here. The breakfast was better than most complimentary breakfasts that you can get. I would definitely stay here again.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, but there was 1 female at the front who was unprofessionally dressed, not friendly, and not professional overall in the least. It was a real surprise at how inept she was for guest service since she was the first person someone will interact with when they arrive.

the rooms were clean inviting and the breakfast a great plus since we traveled with small children. I liked the pool and hot tub,,My only complaint t.v. selection was poor i personally like the option of renting a movie.. Otherwise 5 stars to hotel its staff and the beautiful location.

The hotel in general is very nice, clean comfortable. Great amenities for kids with the pool and game area. a couple of small issues - no HD service on the HD TV and the "walls are thin" could hear people talking in the halls, doors closing etc. Otherwise we were very happy with the accomodations.

Employees were very helpful. Our room was spotless!!!!! The breakfast was very good. They kept food items replaced so you really could have breakfast!!!!! I would definitely stay there again. It was convenient to everything!

We stopped in at the HI Express on the way through town on a family vacation. I must say this was one ot the nicest HI Express' we have stayed at. They are in the process of updating the whole hotel i looks like. The pool area is amazing. (it's in the shape of the state of michigan). The spa area was kick butt, it's indoor and outdoor. They do have […] a little time at the end of the evening that is for adults only. That was nice. The room and hotel was super clean and amazing. It is close to lots of stuff. The front desk lady was super and nice and directed us to a amazing dinner for the family. The only thing that wasn't superb was the selection at breakfast. And the other downfall was that we didn't have another night to stay here. Will definately be back next year on our trip to michigan. Thanks alot!!!! Read more

Great experience. Breakfast was good, room comfortable, pool and hot tub were great. MY son enjoyed playing basketball with other guests. The game room was a bit hot but the everything else was great! Tons of things to do nearby, great restaurants.

I chose this hotel for a three day stay in Holland. Although I wasn't aware that there were still renovations being done there (remodeling signs were posted), everything seemed pretty finished. Entrance and lobby was nice and inviting, lounge and breakfast area was very nice. Breakfast selection was very good. Amenitites of pool, hot tub, and exercise […] room were all good quality. The room was brand new interior, as the renovation was complete, and still had that brand new smell. The only thing that was a little off was the darkness of the hallways to the rooms. Walls and carpet were a darker color and the wall sconce by each room's door were adequate, but the hall looked a bit dark to me. Not in any way a deal breaker, but my own opinion. This was my second stay at this Holiday Inn Express. As previously experienced, this stay was equally enjoyable. They were right in the middle of renovations and still I was very pleased. I hardly even noticed there were workers present.

My only complaint would have been that the pool was out of service for construction, but we'd spent the entire day at Lake Michigan anyway and upon check-in the concierge handed us a 25% off coupon for our next stay! (and the free cookies for the kids was the cherry on our vacay sundae!)

understaffed at check in (man literally on the phone 10 min or more and nobody else working to greet us) Housekeeping walked in the next morning without knocking. (9:00am) That was pretty weird. We've never had that happen before. She should have at least knocked first. Other than that-ok A little spendy for being under construction.

The room was great; the staff was super friendly; the daily breakfast was excellent. Couldn't adjust the thermostat very well; all we could do was either turn the fan off or on therefore sometimes it might get too cold.

Nice hotel; crowded for holiday weekend. Stayed in disabled room which is "executive" under Hotels.com's category. Comfortable. Only complaint is that the sole elevator was SLOW! Ask for 2nd floor room so that you can take the stairs!

We took our family to this hotel for a short spring break get-away. Our room and the entire 3rd floor had brand new carpeting and nice comfortable beds. The decor was modern and tasteful. This hotel is close to everything! It was just remodelled and it is beautiful!!!! I love the bar right in the hotel. Customer experience was AMAZING!!! I would definetly recommend this hotel for anyone. Great for kids too! pool, and 2 hot tubs, and also game room.
