Beautiful location and overall a nice experience. If you're looking for a luxury spa I'd go to Sedona, but if you're looking for a healthy, simply getaway this is a wonderful place.

Room and lobby have much to be desired. Outdated fixtures carpet and furniture, and no style. Grounds, facilities gym, pool,'trails and spa, on the other hand, are nice top notch. Why chinch in the rooms and lobby? Dining food was good yet why plastic tables with flimsy plywood? Salad bar fresh yet soup burned tells me the attention to detail by chef […] is missing in this destination spa. Go all the way----invest in updating your rooms----especially the clanky AC unit and drippy shower. Eeeeeewwwwww. I had to sleep to these sounds and smells----after my hike and massage. Overall, our experience was very pleasant. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Our standard room was a bit cramped and we were disappointed it did not come with a refrigerator. This resort is really more of "health spa" type place than just a nice place to stay. We picked it because of the location and it looked nice, but we didn't particpate in any of the activities, so we have no comment on those, other than I think they were very expensive - $129 per person for a three-hour horse ride, $49 for a guided hike to a place that's […] all of two miles away (my wife paid $6 to get into Snow Canyon State Park and did the same hike). But the resort itself is very nice, very clean, pool area was very nice. One note regarding the food - breakfast was included and we at breakfast there twice, but don't expect the typical eggs / pancakes / bacon type of breakfast. It's very "healthy" food (like "carrot peanut butter" instead of normal peanut butter) - lots of veggies / fruit / nuts etc, even on the breakfast buffet, and that's fine, but just know what you're getting here. Also loved the indoor pool which was completely vacant most of the time and had the perfect water temperature. Location is great. can walk right out into state park. pool is big and open at night. room was nice with a sweet flat screen tv, but very small area for luggage. restaurant was not great... food is overpriced and dining room does not have a great feel to it... poor lighting and too massive

The room was fine and pretty clean. The smell of the room was really musty. It might have been from the air conditioning unit. It was almost unbearable for my husband, but I told him just get through the one night we are staying here.

This was my first time staying at Red Mountain Resort, and traveling solo. This place is beautiful! I had the most amazing time while I was there. Every single staff member was so nice and friendly, and very accomodating. The food was great. All the activities at the resort and outside the resort kept me busy throughout the week. I was a little hesitant […] while booking this trip thinking that maybe I would get bored sometimes since I was traveling solo. Nope! Never happened. I stayed pretty active at the resort and tried many of the adventure excursions that the resort offers as well. There is something special and magical about this place. The resort is surrounded by beautiful red mountains and lava fields. Snow Canyon State Park is literally right next door to the resort, which was wonderful. The scenery is out of this world. You have to be there, see it for yourself, to really appreciate the beauty and magic of Snow Canyon. I would definitely recommend Red Mountain Resort. When we reserved our weekend get a away I had the understanding that the resort was on the east side of St. George, close to Zions national park. We were surprised that it was located on the west side, It did add tine to our hiking trips to Zions each day, but the drive was not bad and the resort was well worth the trip. We really loved the location! […] It was a beautiful resort and loved the very healthy breakfast in the morning. The bed was much smaller than we were use to ( 2- queens) we wanted a king. The beds were exceptional in comfort and cleanliness. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was very quiet-much needed for us as we left our kiddos for our anniversary. The thoughtful staff had a gift awaiting us in our room just for the occasion. The grounds and workout room all excellent. Close to Tuacahn. Loved our stay and will return!

We were traveling between Vegas and the North Rim for a hiking trip. We stayed overnight on our way to the North Rim and back. The drive to the resort from Vegas was about 2 hours and the drive to the North Rim was about 3 hours. The resort is quiet and clean in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a room that had two queen beds. The rooms were small, […] but comfortable. The room had an open floor plan, but the toilet had a door. The service was always friendly and accommodating. Our stay included breakfast, and for breakfast, they have a buffet that includes eggs, breakfast meats, fruits, breads, and more. We had dinner at the resort on our way to the North Rim; we both thought that the meal was very good. On our return trip, we both went to the spa, which is on several floors in its own building and clean. The message that I had was great. There is a large relaxation room with a view of the red mountains beyond. It's very comfortable. We also went to the fitness room, which is very big and spacious with all the basic equipment. And we had a morning rest at the pool. We had a difficult time finding some shade there, but settled under one of the big umbrellas that provided shade for a table. Read more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. We took advantage of the spa services which were excellent. Our package was a la carte but included breakfast each morning (very good with the exception of tofu eggs) and purchased dinner one evening (not amazing but good). We would definitely return.

This hotel is all sizzle and no steak. It appears that it was luxurious in it's day, but now the service and furnishing is sub-par for the hype we read when we decided to reserve the room. It does deserve credit for being quiet at night.
