With 3 college kids home on Winter Break we took a 1 week road trip to NOLA. What a great city! This hotel is located in the Warehouse District within walking distance of the French 1/4 The Casino The River The Shopping The Tourist Stuff The Great Restaurants and The Music. You do not need a car if you have good walking shoes and a desire to explore using public transportation. The Hotel is a typical Springhill. If you've stayed at this brand before you will feel right at home as the rooms are identical to every other new Springhill. The staff was gracious and welcoming The Breakfast is typical but plentiful The room was newly appointed and clean The bed was comfortable; The only thing the room lacked was drawer space but there was plenty of storage space otherwise so even 3 large children crammed into a room had enough area to store their stuff. Highly recommended. If you bring a car you will have to pay for parking and the onsite lot is tiny, but parking is tough all over the warehouse CBD and French 1/4 so be prepared to pay.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The food at the free breakfast was delicious and plentiful. But they needed more accommodations for the guests. They ran out of places to sit and we ended up eating in the front lobby. They also needed more housekeeping staff. Our room sometimes didn't get clean until we called late afternoon to complain. Enjoyed the whirlpool but one night they had no towels. Also, the fitness room had no weights under 15lbs (and only one of them) so for the women exercising there was nothing. In the room unit the double size sofa mattress was very uncomfortable and too big for the room. Once it was let down you couldn't get around it. The lobby market had bottles of beer but it would be nice to have small bottles of wine for sell.

This was a nice hotel and room for the value, unfortunately their parking garage was TORE up (literally), due to construction, and we ended up having to pay $25 for parking plus, there are some additional taxes and fees that have to do with parking as well. Honestly, I think there should have been a discount on parking due to the condition of the garage. $25 is pretty steep for one night. Other than that, I have no complaints about the hotel itself, the room was very nice and the breakfast that was included was great!

We were required to valet park because the garage was full. Valet parking was an off property unsecured lot. Had we known this in advance, we would have parked on the street and saved our $24/day. This hotel was not to the standard of other Springhill suites we have stayed in. Rooms were relatively small. Employee at check in was very polite and helpful. Employee at check out, not so much. We will not stay at this hotel again.

When it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! This was our third stay at a Springhill venue in as many months. We liked our previous experiences!! This was OK, but not as good as our last two outings. The room we had was 306. It’s a bit of a hotch potch and a classic example of trying to make a space a bedroom when it clearly wasn’t meant to be one! My other big gripe was the noise. It was like being on an ocean liner at night with the constant thrum of what may or may not have been air conditioning or ventilation equipment. Normally, I find such sounds irritating and would seek relocation but the noise did have its benefits, it drowned out the boisterous sounds of some of the guests! While sleep quality was not brilliant, the hotel does have much to commend it. Location is a plus, the rooms are comfortable, wifi is free and reliable and all the gizmos a modern traveller needs are in the room, including fridge and microwave. The breakfast choice is of decent quality and selection and the staff were upbeat and friendly. Breakfast was really busy when we were there and getting a seat was a problem. Car parking is available but it is disappointingly expensive. This may reflect the downtown rates of competitors but seems overpriced whatever viewpoint you take. Once again Springhill didn’t let us down and they are rapidly becoming my residence of choice when away from home.

this hotel is directly across from bars and they were open until 5am with loud music and we had children-the hotel was supposed to provide adjoining rooms which did not happen and as we had children we should have been provided rooms away from the nightlife

We stayed here after our cruise. It is very close to the port, within walking distance. Other than some construction going on, it was in great shape. The room was large and comfy. The breakfast is great an has a good variety of food.

Friendly staff, 3 elevators that we're readily available. Clean rooms, comfortable, excellent maid service. Good breakfast each morning & free. The hotel location was within range of all of our sites we wanted to visit. The front desk was easy to access. Little or no waiting and fun to chat with.

Stayed one night for Voodoo Fest. Easy, fast, no hassle, check in and out. Booked through Expedia. Hotel was clean, nice looking, smelled great, spacious courtyards and lobby areas for gathering outside of room. Our room was a studio room with two comfy, queen beds and a pullout bed. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Would definitely book again.

The last full day that we were there, they did not clean our room until 6:00 pm. We told them at 4:00 that it was not clean. We had an argument with them until they finally said they would clean it. Every thing else was pretty much ok. They told us the pool Was heated but it was cold. The whirlpool was not working for the first day of our 4 day stay. hotel was very close to the World War II museum, which was good. Breakfast was good.

We had a great stay and the hotel was in the perfect location. We parked our car and didn't see it again until we left. The transportation is great and no need for a car. The staff was always helpful, happy and accommodating to our every need. The breakfast that was included was very enjoyable and so was the singing staff. The restaurants near the hotel are the best plus add Irene's in the French Quarter.

Great stay - was in town for the New Orleans Film Festival and the Springhill Suites was right in the middle of the action. Close to the CAC and within walking distance to pretty much everything. Facility was clean, hotel staff was amazing, breakfast was ample and well-stocked throughout the mornings, downstairs dining area was comfortable and parking was surprisingly easy (was expecting to be blocked out of the small lot at some point in time, but never was!).

We are locals who needed a night away. Upon arrival new valet kept us a half hour, hotel and valet arguing about who has parking available(stress). Upon entering room carpet was dirty, bathroom floor our feet stuck to and the worst was the most uncomfortable mattress ever .

The hotel had a clean modern look. The receptionists were very knowledgeable of the area. The hotel location was within walking distance of many of the main sites. The room was clean and the beds were extremly comfortable. The room also had a couch with a fold out bed which was helpfull since we were a party of 5. The only negative was there was a club across from our room and when the crowd left at 3-4 in the morning they were very loud.

close to everything; decent price. room was a little small and awkward setup- but clean, new and modern. really comfortable bed. able to park your own car and come and go- no valet required- but close enough to walk or take trolley to everything. not the best view- looked either abandoned or under construction across the street- but much of downtown NO is that way. good overall- I'd recommend.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Away from some of the craziness of Bourbon St, yet close enough to attractions. Close to shopping at Riverwalk Outlet, great restaurants in the Warehouse District, an ez stroll to the Quarter, and the music on Frenchmen St. The staff was professional, courteous, the rooms were comfortable, and clean. Nice breakfast buffet. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room was an added plus. Will definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay? The hotel staff we friendly and eager to help upon arriving. Only thing that was a disappointment was paying for parking after already paying for a room! It was a safe parking lot but had we realized that in the beginning we may have changed our minds. Otherwise we were very pleased. Breakfast was very fresh and good. Close walk to downtown also.

We enjoyed our stay and even with the $25 parking charge we felt that the hotel was a bargain. The breakfast buffet contained a good variety of items and everything was delicious. We were close to the Julia St. stop for the Riverfront streetcar which we rode several times to the French Quarter. For $3 you can ride the various streetcar lines all day. Will definitely stay here again.

Let me first start by giving kudos to Maurice. He was excellent, efficient, accommodating and very professional. If this man didn't have a raise recently, he definitely should receive one or a promotion. The other staff members were ok. One such staff member, Kierra, I believe her name is, was very unprofessional and mentioned something about she wasn't going outside to assist a guest. I was very appalled. It's nothing against the hotel, because, it was fully equipped with all the essentials and the breakfast was surprisingly good but staff members need to be better trained. If they were all replaced with more staff members like Maurice, you would definitely have 5 stars from me as well as other guests.

Enjoyed our stay.... Hotel was very clean. It is in a quiet area but close to downtown attractions. Not a lot of parking for the size of the hotel, however there is a parking lot nearby you can use. Staff was friendly and if we asked for anything it was delivered quickly. Would stay again.

Friendly helpful staff. There were small ants in the room and hand towels left from previous guest. Towels were on hook on back of bathroom door, so probably weren't seen by cleaning staff.

Got there about 1:00 pm and was able to check right in. Room was a lil cramped but adequate and did have a small wet bar, fridge, desk and full sized sofa. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. No complaints for what we paid. Breakfast left a lil to be desired, but again it was "free". There was a small pool that I fully intended to get in but simply ran out of time. Overall, I would say it was about what I expected and I was pleased.

Extremely convenient for walking to the French Quarter. I would suggest using Fulton Garage for parking (which is 1 block away), rather than paying to park at the hotel - MUCH cheaper!!!!!

The room was very clean and cozy, but once the night club beside/below the hotel started their music, sleeping was out of the question! You could hear the bass and the windows vibrating from 11pm-3am. The bedding is nice and clean, but a bit heavy if you're warm when you sleep.
