The location of the hotel was great. The suite itself was good. Nice and roomy. The WiFi was very sporadic. I do not know if it had anything to do with the location of our room or not. I would sign on and after about 10 mins it would kick you out and this went on and on. The cleaning personnel leave a lot to be desired. The person who was supposed to […] clean our room obviously did not know what the word clean meant. They would make the bed and take the soiled towels and did not leave any. They also did not sweep the floors or vacuum the carpeting. I had to go to the office twice to get towels and toilet tissue. Do not think I will stay there again. Read more

For the price it wasn't too bad. The rooms were ok for us to have our 2 kids with us. The pool was not as great as I expected. The rooms have been renovated but they could of done a better job on the wallpaper. we enjoyed our stay for the most part. We would stay again if we come back.

Overall visit was positive. The sofa needed some work. One of the cushions just sagged down into the couch when you sat on it. Also found a broken pipe in the room when we checked in. That is not the hotel's fault other than not cleaning properly.

The location was perfect. We appreciated in the in-room jacuzzi. The room smelled heavily of marijuana when we walked in. This is a great place for a beach vacation, where you want to enjoy yourself and not be troubled by lobbies or staff.

Been coming to Dolphin Inn for 25 yers. Only thing I didn't like was the non fitted sheets on the beds. Kept coming off. The noise of some generator outside was very bad. The hotel staff was fine, however the club across the street was so nasty that it woke my 2year old with its nasty foul music. Further, there was no curtian on the bedroom window so the hall light from the hotel shined in the room making it impossible to sleep. Ninth floor view was amazing! Listened to the crash of the waves all night long. Don't bother with the jacuzzi...not real clean and I think it would take an hour to fill and the water would be cold by that time. Granite countertops were nice. Couch was well worn but servicable. Overall it was very good. The only problem was not being able to check into my handicapped room about 45 minutes early. I had called on my way to the hotel to request an early chek in as I would be arriving early dueto no traffic issues. when i arrived I was told I would have to wait until 4 and would be called when my room was ready. there are no "Lobby […] bathrooms" to utilize while waiting. I believe my room was ready and the Asst manager was being a stickler for details. Please give the handicapped a break. Read more

The hotel was obviously very old but it was clean and I did not see a single bug in the room our whole stay. Rug felt dirty though. Pool was very small so it wouldn't be a choice for off season use. View and proximity was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and especially the jacuzzi tub was awesome.

We went in August and spent most of our time walking outside. There are a plenty of restaurants and shops nearby; you'll hardly need to use your car. The hotel is right about in the middle of a couple miles of beach. We enjoyed our stay with a very polite staff and would stay at the Dolphin again.

We arrived almost 5 hours before check in. The staff at the front desk was wonderful. She let us change so we could go to the beach while our room was cleaned, and she had us take a different room so we were checked in by noon. Very helpful in recommending places to eat. Hotel was great. Only problem is the navy base has F-18s flying over head all day! That's more of a problem for the whole area not just the Dolphin inn. The only other thing was the jacuzzi tip was stained black on the bottom. I'm sure it was clean but I wasn't about to get in it.

Not the newest hotel on the block, but clean and very helpful staff. My only complaint is that a "kitchenette with microwave" did not have a stove or hotplate. Beautiful view, smack dab on the beach. Nice, saltwater, indoor pool with wonderful views of the beach. I highly recommend this hotel.
