The room was clean with a great ocean view. The only problem was that the bed was directly up against the air conditioner so whoeever slept on that side would freeze unless they propped up pillows to avoid the direct air.

Took the girlfriend here this past weekend for our one year anniversary just to get away for a few days. The hotel could not be in a more perfect spot! The balcony overlooking the water. The fireplace in the room that turns on at the flick of a switch. Big clean sink/bathroom. Jetted bathtub. King sized bed. The room was dirty, there was a urine stain next to the toilet, a used bottle of toothpaste folded into one of our towels, dust in all the air vents. I stayed in hotels and paid a lot less for much better. Way too much chemicals in the pool and jacuzzi, we had to leave the pool area because it burned our eyes so much. The fireplace was nice. The hotel […] resturant service was awful, slow and no one paid attention to us. No one even asked us how our stay was when we checked out. I really enjoyed my stay at the Nantasket Beach Resort. The room was extremely clean and the food was excellent. It is a great place for couples or families. They offer amenities such as two restaurants including live entertainment in the evening, a pool w/ jacuzzi, game room and gym, so there is something for everyone.

Loved the fireplace in the room, this was a perfect place to stay. Clean and pretty, morning omelette delicious and reasonable. Remember to request a beach view room (I didn't and wished I had).

Visited the Nantasket Beach Resort during the off season (second weekend of April) and the place was filled with people. Guess we weren't the only ones who decided to indulge in the resort before the waves of tourists rolled in. The front desk and staff were very friendly, personable and professional. Our room was very clean, the jet tub/shower was […] a welcome perk and overall the room was well maintained. No flat screen TV in the room, rather an old CRT, but we weren't in town to watch TV. We did visit the hotel's restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We were staying Fri-Sat, and there was live music in the bar/lounge with a good number of people. This was a delightful little getaway. Attended my brothera wedding in gloucester. My fiance stayed a few extra days and roomed at this hotel. The location ia beautiful. Wasy access to the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily. No worry about stolen items. The pool and jacuzzi were clean. Plenty of restaurants surrounding hotel. Would stay again!

The upper-class restaurant was so overpriced . We spent over $160. for 4 people. I wanted to treat my son's and one son's girlfriend to a really nice, classy dinner and what we got was a 45 minute wait until someone took our order and then another 45 minute wait for the very substandard food to arrive. There were only two tables, each with two people […] at them when we arrived. If you are paying nearly $20 for a chicken salad the chicken shouldn't be the frozen, pressed kind with grill marks already on it. It was still cold on the salad. The fried clams were disgusting, not clean. We were so disappointed. Came to get away from the city for a night. Had hoped it would be relaxing. I requested the king room with a view. Instead got the standard king with absolutely no view of the water. In fact, there's no way to sit and relax while seeing the water in the distance from any part of the hotel unless maybe you eat dinner there- which didn't look very appealing. […] My biggest complaint was the pool and hot tub. All the staff were professional yet personable, making me feel most welcome. The shuttle service to link to the Boston area transportation makes it both accessible and just far away enough. It is right on the beach. It was so great I really do not want anyone else to know about it because I will get too much company when I go back!

The balcony view was not as we expected. The room is poorly arranged and the fire place is in an awkward place. The restaurants in the hotel seemed expensive and not very inviting. The elevator in the main building is so small and uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone walking by and going down the stairs. Parking lot entrance […] and exit are poorly labeled. What saved the trip was the neighborhood scenery of the houses by the water and Wise Guys pizza & more. We were brought to this area for a soccer tournament. The front desk was very friendly, nice room with a gas fireplace, and nice pool and hot tub! It was so cold outside, we decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel. We were drawn by the ad in the elevator for 25cent wings! We waited for a hostess to seat us, and were disappointed that she sat us […] in the dining room and not the lounge without giving us a choice. No wing special in there!!! I have stayed here three times, and it seems each one have my stays has gone down hill. The first time was perfect. The second time was nice, and the third was less than impressive. The hotel itself and staff were very nice and accommodating. The room however, had a less than perfect view. It almost seemed like we had to strain our necks to get a nice […] view of the ocean. The room itself looked as though it had been broken into once before (crowbar marks on the door and damage to the frame). The shower was miserable! There was no water pressure and I had to lay down to wash my hair with the tub! I told the receptionist about my concerns. She offered us a free breakfast which were not able to take because of an appointment. However she issued us a coupon for a later stay. I'm sure this room was just a fluke. A beautiful hotel! Close to delicious restaurants. Right on the water, fell asleep to rolling waves, the fireplace kept us nice and warm. Woke up in the morning and took a loong jacuzzi bath. Absolutley gorgeous and clean gym. A lovely hotel, I would love to stay here inseason!! Nothing but a wonderful stay!

Most striking was the friendliness and flexibility of staff. Furnishings a tad shabby, bed comfortable though. Nice jet tub. rooms smaller than appear in photos. beautiful ocean view in a partial view room. Quiet gas fireplace for heat.
