the hotel was very good. The only bad thing is that there is no beach, but I supose that applies to every hotel on the Dead Sea. Very disappointing is that some sewers end up on the sea, just in front of where we were bathing!!

The rooms were big enough, but not all that spacious. Pools were amazing, and it isn't too far to the Dead Sea. There isn't much of a beach area, but Dead Sea access is nice.

Fast check in and check out. Nice room. Inside the room was very clean. The balcony furniture was dusty and one chair was missing a cushion. The breakfast is good, but not extraordinary. I did not have time to visit the spa. The grounds are great. The pools are sparkling clean.

This was a great hotel for a short stay! Our two year old loved the water slide and water fall in the heated, kid friendly pool. The only draw back was that the water side opens at 1pm during the weekdays. We had a king suite which was spacious and had a nice view of the pool and sea. The balcony was huge but not private with just a screen in between […] us and the neighbors. The Italian restaurant was delicious and perfect for lunch. The hotel felt a little claustrophobic and narrow which is why a short stay would be fine. We stayed at the Kempinski before which is a much nicer and larger resort. Read more

The hotel is lovely, and everything that you would expect from a hotel of this standard. There are, however, a couple of quibbles. The room that we were originally given - in the non-smoking section of the hotel - stank of cigarette smoke. We requested a change of rooms and were moved to a room that smelled strongly of room deodorizer instead, but […] was the lesser of two evils. (There was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the hall of the non-smoking section for the duration of our stay, so non-smoking is clearly optional.) The "beach" isn't! I assume they are currently upgrading, but the point of entry into the Dead Sea is difficult unless the sea is completely calm. Considering this is the whole point of staying here, it would make sense to have better access to the sea, as it is in the other hotels nearby (one has steps, the other a small artificial beach). However, breakfast was wonderful, the bed comfortable, and the pools looked inviting despite the cold weather. Read more

we can float at hotel's private dead sea beach. There are 3 nice pools, nice breakfast. The only disappointing thing is there were many mosquitoes.

Great hotel at the dead sea. Personable staff, clean facilities, lots of spaces to relax, excellent spa and restaurants. And nothing beats the experience of floating in the dead sea, which was easily accessible. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly maintained, but due to the location which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere amenities wise (no local shops etc.) they really take advantage of having a captive audience- I'm not allowed to include specific rates here, but suffice to day the drinks were the most expensive I've pretty much ever encountered, […] even for basic things like a small bottle of water. They have and advertise as having an indoor pool and a sea water pool, however as a guest of the hotel you are not allowed to use these facilities without paying a hefty dailt stipend. I also found the fact that they charge 10% service charge even on items in the mini bar a bit offensive. All in all the hotel itself is beautiful, but when paying so much to stay at the hotel I expect to be able to use more of the facilities without paying extra and to at least have access to reasonably priced water. 1) Getting the luggage at arrival took 45 minutes (due to Eid this is probably understandable). 2) The Spa is wonderful but pricey. 3) Service is far from acceptable: We had to check out early (before breakfast) and called the evening before to request breakfast and coffee in the room at 6 am, and told that we were checking out early. At 6.20 am we […] called the helpdesk to get our breakfast. At 6.45 two lunchboxes with sad sandwich and banana arrived. No coffee - "You can get coffee in the reception" was the message. In the reception there was no staff to help, and once somebody woke up, the complaint was not dealt with, only the bill was prepared. No previous preparation of check-out, even getting the coffee was a clear hazzle. We expected a lot better service from a 5-star hotel. Read more

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. I am very pleased with the hotel, service and location. The only suggestion I can make is to improve the food in the “Sports Bar”. Otherwise 5 out of 5 for everything.

Overall the Marriott Dead Sea hotel is lovely. It has the five-star quality with all the expected amenities. We stayed here on the last leg of our trip and were hoping for a few days of quiet and relaxation. I would warn anyone seeking the same to first find out what is playing at the convention centre which is located right next door to the hotel. […] During our stay they were playing music so loud that it sounded like it was coming from outside our room. This lasted until 11:30 in the evening. We complained as we thought it was the hotel's live music at poolside, but they apologised saying it was the Convention Centre (which blared a mix of pop and Arabic music). It's a shame for Marriott that this venue has been placed next to them. For this reason I would recommend staying a bit further away. The Kempinski is a bit further (with Moevenpick in between). But if you like loud (concert-like) music late in the evening, then this may be your place. Read more

We arrived at the hotel and were told there were no rooms available with a king size bed. We had booked a King Size superior room. We were promised that a superior room with a king size bed would be available the next day at 2pm. We spent most of the first day of our holiday being shown alternative rooms and were encouraged to take a standard room at […] the same price as the upgraded room we had already paid for. We were finally shown to a superior room with a king size bed which was very nice. The spa is available however for guests to use it they have to pay £15 each and the internet is available in the business centre again at £6 a go. I have never stayed in a five star hotel where guests have to pay for the internet and spa facilities. The staff are well meaning but you have to ask for things a couple of times before you get them. Also I had read the reviews of the hotel before we went that had said the hotel was expensive so although I was warned I had not appreciated how expensive at approx £100 plus for dinner for two each evening. We wanted to book a day trip to Petra at this was a challenge. There was no information on trips and we spent a long time trying work out the options. Finally we were told that you can only go with Hertz even though the hotel has link to other tour companies in their website. This day trip cost about £300 for two of us.. We had a fantastic day in Petra so definitley recomend it but suggest you check out other options before you go. Read more

We have been going there for years, because we like it, but the price hike since last year to double, plus a fee now to enter the spa area has pushed the Marriott to bottom of our choices at the Dead Sea. 사해와 바로 맞닿아 있고, 조식도 맛있어요, 룸의 청결 상태도 좋고, 야외 수영장도 괜찮습니다.. 저는 12월 말에 갔는데, 사해는 추워서인지,.. 출입금지여서 그냥 손만 담그고 왔어요,, 사해를 못들어가는 대신 야외수영장에서 놀 수 있으니 만족합니다.

死海の浮遊体験を目的に滞在しましたが、とても楽しく過ごすことができました。ビーチサンダルを持参していましたが、ビーチに行く途中に海で脱げにくいビニール製靴？を借りることができました。屋外プールは、若干温水が出ていたので、１１月末でも楽しめました。部屋のお風呂も大きく、温かいお湯が出るので、気持ち良かったです。レストランのスタッフも親切で、ベビーチェアを準備してくれたり、眺めの良い席に案内してくれたりしました。イタリアンが特に美味しくて、滞在中何度か行きました。子ども用の施設も充実しており、ポールプールや遊具もあり、飽きることなく過ごせました。スパにあるスチームバスは、ミントの香りがし、始めはむせるほどでしたが、しばらく入っていると慣れ心地良かったです。外に出ると、体中冷んやりして寒いくらいで […] した。ペトラ行きのタクシーもアレンジしてくれるのでおすすめです。 Read more

部屋はとても綺麗です。ただドアが閉まりづらく力一杯しめないと鍵がなくても簡単に開きます。プールからの夕日の眺めや夜プールからイスラエルの夜景が見えて綺麗です。周囲には歩ける範囲で何もお店はないので夕食や飲料水などホテルでとることになると思いますので事前に買えるならそっちの方がいいと思います。またホテルのイタリアンを利用しましたが量が多かったので頼みすぎに注意です。死海ですがビーチというより岩場のようなところでした。特に料金も取られず泥も塗り放題でした。

Personalet på hotellets restauranter er alt for snakkesalige. Vi blev forstyrret af adskillige tjenere, kokke m.v. Under vores middag vores tjener præsenterede sig fem gange... Men ellers rigtig dejligt.
